How does paying paying exorbitant fees automatically mean that your kids will get solid educational Foundation? Aside associating with kids from well balanced homes (which is a good thing by the way), there is no reason you should be paying your child fees through your nose when you can get them in a good school with reasonable amount?

I never said kids don't learn faster. I only fault that mentality that expensive fees automatically translates to solid educational foundation.

No need to need for the pressure bro. Unless you earn 1m and above, paying 200-300k fees per session for kids is madness.
Quality education at the early stage of a child's life is very important. whether it cost N1m per term or N40k per term, what I know is make effort to see that your child get quality education not a classroom filled with kids rote learning all through to university level and has ended Nigeria where it is today.

Montessori education is not about acquiring accent but sensorial, where learning is exploratory. Visit a standard Montessori classroom (not some nonsense some Nigerian schools claim to be) and silently observe what is going on.

Politics › Re: Ebonyi People Are The ‘almajiris’ Of Igboland : video & pictures by Mindlog: 7:46pm On Sep 11, 2023
Ebonyi State government should make consistent effort in retaining those teenage boys in school.

They used to be known more for going to villages in other South eastern states to clear farms and make mounds for cassava and yam planting but over the years there are huge numbers of them in street hawking, trafficked by some elements from their home towns to sell for them on the streets with them hoping to be bosses someday and also traffic some boys to hawk for them.....this vicious circle must stop.

Billions Umahi ought to have used in retaining these young ones in secondary schools, vocational and technical institutions, he wasted on the white elephant project called airport.

Yes, it's A for Airpool and B for Bull, and other unnecessary accent.

Before you pay 200k+ for kids school fees, then you should be earning above 1m with a personal property.

We must learn not to impress people. Kids don't learn much. 50k school will give as much results as 300k school, oops, only a change in accent.
A sound early years foundation stage of a child is not to impress anyone, it is very NECESSARY.

Do you have an idea how the brains of kids at that foundational level looks like and how it functions?

Children learn faster than adults and make sure you don't go repeating that kids don't learn much in the midst of those who are knowledgeable in child psychology to avoid looking ignorant!

Politics › Re: Why I Am SCARED Of An Igbo Presidency by Mindlog: 3:49pm On Sep 11, 2023
Quintessence44:
I fear an Igbo presidency. With each passing day, and with each anti-Nigeria comment I read on social media, of which 98% are from Igbos, the more I fear, and the more my soul rejects an Igbo presidency.

I reckon they lack the patriotism to be trusted with power over this federation, and could use that power, if granted them, to sabotage the country, leading to its disintegration.

We can’t afford to take that chance in my view.

I can imagine the ruling classes also see this trajectory of deep Igbo unpatriotism, and are equally taking notes on the need to prevent their presidency anytime soon.
Your soul should better keep rejecting it and continue to enjoy the dream Nigeria, your tribe has made it to be. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

Why is Ngozi the cannibal holding President Biden romantically as if she's married to him. That woman na shameless ASHAWO
Since you see nothing wrong in using such language describing another person's mother, how about you a son of a thousand fathers being bold enough to mention your mother's name and let us see what she has achieved in.life apart from birthing and raising a dysfunctional low life that is getting his high from showing off his delayed development.

What has lesbianism got to do this with conversation...? Or are you just clueless about the topic at hand ...?undecided
It has got to do with it no matter how uncomfortable the thought makes you feel, since you are very sure of what your daughter can't be in the future. You are the one little one who has to feel better in life by thinking that belittling women of certain age no matter how you try to paint it

Have your children with females way younger while others make their choices, about being clueless....that is your trademark.

Many women from Imo State do marry in their 30s ( I am from Imo State and it is very prevalent around me) as they tend to focus more on schooling and career in their 20s, I am still yet to see any Nigerian reproductive health data, that has singled out Imo state born women to have the lowest fertility rate in Nigeria.

More women are now embracing freezing of their eggs in their 20s and can later use them when they are ready to become mothers.

You should have first informed the University and gotten an official letter from them, excusing you from classes for a certain period of time.

Realistically, you will be heading home.
