Dude, think u v asked this severally before? Most likely, the customised/branded P3 should have its SIM1 slot locked to only Etisalat. For the uncustomised P3 any ntw SIMCard will work with the SIM1 Slot.
NB SIM1= 3G.

Emphasis: I don't get it. . . I mean why will two phones (n3 & p3) with basically the same ram, processor and specs in general have a superior and inferior? By the way, some folks in here are using GAMING only as a yardstick for rating both phones.

Dont 4get that anything is possible. Actual user experience alone trully defines a phone, not the vague specs (sometimes misleading) that goes with it.

P3 doesnt equal N3 even when both are rooted?

Seyilome: u can only use ur gps through the help of gps on/off app on google to enhance u to open ur gps and i did benchmark for both and they have the same spec with available RAM 412, but on usage of both, go to running app and check free RAM u wl see that n3 wil never get nothing less than 220 RAM free and 180 RAM on usage,while p3 have 160 RAM free and 160 RAM on usage so where is the remaining 100 RAM to make it 400 RAM for user?.NOTE i have the two,i must to tell u fact that n3 is more rugged in term of running games,cos i have Nintendo 64 emulator on my n3 which i play mortal kombat 4 etc and i have play station 1 emulator on my n3 which i play dino crisis 2 etc but on my p3 is nt rugged to do it much even when calls come in and if am listining to radio it off the radio after call,and multitasking is nt much smooth on p3,i wl sel it soon.

Thanks 4 d info. Maybe i'll check again, tho normally when I check with the code, it will tell me I "dont have an active internet plan", whatever that means I dont know. This's despite receiving the usual msg of successful deduction, free 5MB, etc. Besides, when the free MB works it doesnt take long b4 they tell you that you've exhausted the free MB.

Sad these days money's deducted yet you still cant browse.

Seyilome: Both dont support gps.i have handled both i must tell u.they both have same spec,but if nt for flash light,front cam and home buttons light.i must tell u n3 is more rugged than p3,my reason is that n3 ram never gone down less than 260 free under use,but p3 ram goes down to 160 when the two have the same ram usage of 165

Have you handled both N3 & P3 before? What really did you observe/notice? For eg, some say P3 is not as audible/loud as N3, is it true?

We're on same page then. I'm not really a gamer as such, only interested in drawing good comparison btw it and N3, if P3 is really a machine as rugged N3, not just mere specs. I still wonder how P3 will just beat N3 without them removing smthng in the P3

Sike: Please help me on how to Root my P3 Oh! I keep getting "demon materialized" after doing all the neccessary things, from downloading Poot, installing Ministro II, to that QT Library whatever. I still couldn't root it. I ticked that USB debbuging and allow mock location in my phone, seleceted Internal memory as my preffered installation storage all to no avail. Please is there another way i can successfully ROOT it? Somebody help.

Relax. Take it easy. Go thru instructions again carefully & retry. Some succeed after several attempts. Francheezy may have more ideas.
