The direct just describes his visions, the actors, custom designer, stunt and fight choreographer all just interpret his vision to the best of their knowledge and ability. It's just like the penguin's 'I gat u shout', alot will have thought that was all the director's, but reevs said it was all the actor and even him was shocked and burst into laughter.

Same with Pattinson body language and mannerisms, it's all the actor, but credits goes to the director for having a perfect cast.

I don't know which Palace game you are talking about but we won palace that season twice. The first leg 2-0, second leg 4-3 with a Milner red card.

Also putting those trailers out there on Super Bowl is pretty strategic as it gives more popularity to the movies especially for upcoming Black Adam. Trailers are basically to build hype. And it did exactly what it's meant to. If not why release a teaser for Flash/Aquaman when movie comes out in 8&9 months time. Traditionally teasers or trailers don't come out before 4 or 5 months to release.
So quit all these whinings.

I just watched the batman which i understand its the detective side of batman, an excellent movie though, in terms of fight scene nothing compares it to the hand to hand combat warehouse fight scene in BvS; fast quick and brutal. Wish they did a scene like this in the batman 3hr movie in my opinion.

Only Snyder can direct that, lol.

I think Superman films fail with the audience cause they don't fully use Lois Lane to her true potential. She's mostly written as the girlfriend rather than an equal for Superman. She's treated more as a side character than a main character. And if you look at Batman, most of the reason he is cool is cause he has a great cast of characters.
In Superman films, Clark hasn't been written well and that in turn affects Superman. So also Lex, Jimmy Olsen, the Kents and so on. These characters are interesting and influence the story.

No doubt. She is up there with Erica Durance. Amy Adams played a weak Lois Lane, but she was good. She only missed that fiesty character. Maybe in the Dceu she isn't an army brat.
Cause when I picture Lois, I picture a woman that makes and breaks the Superman and could hold her own. That part Erica Durance played very well.
In Smallville, we saw she was very much on her own most times and didn't need saving from Clark most times. She dey use mouth finish people eh. Had she been the one in the Martha scene in BvS, she would have ran to fight Batman rather than beg him. She would have helped Clark finish Batman through articles and even changed public Opinion against Lex and for Superman.
When it comes to best Lois Lane, I think it's between Bitsie Tulloch and Erica Durance.

Not that. They end up hiring writers who don't know how to write Superman and critics still have that notion that Christopher Reeve is still alive and it's still 1938.
Again, a Superman film is super expensive, and it's a super bomb if you don't have the right story.
Lastly, the characterization of Superman makes it hard to create stories for him. His rogues gallery don't have that strong an influence unless reinvented, but writers are lazy.

They won't. From what I am hearing, Zaslav already knows why the dceu failed. He is doing things differently and getting rid of the old guys. He has had talks (unofficially) with different parties.

All DC fans are seriously waiting to see what this merger will definitely bring to the DC movie Universe.
For the sake of multi-verse, I will love if they allow all the (already created) universes to exist parallel for now, and when the interest from the audience is at the rooftop...collide all into one.
Seeing Batfleck and maybe Batison sharing one Gotham City so early won't resonate or give me that special nostalgic vibes/feeling like when they have been fully established in their separate worlds.
I guess today suppose to be the date for their shareholder meeting...

It has already been stated that both are in different worlds. What I am trying to say it, rather than create a different universe for Snyder works and actors, they want to see how they can continue the story to reach an ending with same actors but a different story. In essence, they may want to see if they can bring the actors back to progress the narrative. Atleast that is what I am interpreting cause the way it is, we can still have Cavill and Affleck and Fisher back in this continuity. Just a few changes to the story instead of recasting or discarding Superman for Supergirl. Both can coexist (in Russell Crowe's voice)

Same amount. Shazam 2 is a family friendly film and a Christmas movie. Avatar 2 isn't for everyone. They made the first one too complex and too long already. So Shazam will make it's money with or without Avatar 2.

Avatar 2 ain't doing shit. They have over delayed that movie and the story in the first one isn't something that was world changing compared to the first Matrix movie.
This is the problem with taking too long to release a sequel movie, especially when it isn't a pop culture icon. Shazam will make its money. People said same about Deadpool vs BVS and Deadpool made bank.

Not really. Gone to do some background checks and saw it most likely was tight release schedule, post production and VFX issues.

Not gonna lie, even when the movies dates was released deep down we felt it was really difficult. Especially the closeness of the movies. Black Adams was mostly doubted because it's release date was too close to production start. Almost impossible even due to the fact that we just recovering from Covid and the production shutdown of many movies. And we know WB don't have the churn rate as Disney's MCU.

Why Shazam was brought forward was probably cos it's the only FINISHED movie amongst the others. Also might benefit from its closeness to Black Adam. More publicity.
Keep the faith. WB hasn't shown much dedication and belief in their plan never before than NOW.

Another side to this story I am hearing, from YouTube is that Zaslav doesn't quite like what the current bosses are doing or the direction taken, and he is trying to bring the Dceu together in that he wants to re-integrate the former guys into the narrative. Not necessarily bring back the Snyder vision but create a continuity and unite the fanbase. In essence, there maybe reshoots that sees Cavill returning in black Adam, the story might change for Ben Affleck in the flash. Notice that the films shifted have some sort of connection or creates a kind of continuity with the old films. I mean, why would the flash that just finished filming take a year and 6 months for Vfx, same with Aquaman and black Adam, only for Shazam to be pulled forward, and I believe it finished filming after black Adam right or something.
I think we might be seeing a change in narrative that brings Cyborg back. But in all, I see it having more to do with Discovery and Zaslav trying to ditch Killian and the old woman and Hamada visions. And the merger happens in April. I might be wrong Sha.
