Sure, his coming led us to be contenders for trophies again. He broke many titles and all. But the status depend on his next club. If he goes to Man United, City or Chelsea or Everton, I don't think he will be considered one.

That's one thing with being so attached to a player. I have learnt a long time that this thing is a business and it's rather better to identify more with the club than a player.
I wouldn't feel shit if any player leaves. Cause they always will. Sure we will feel it in games, loose games, draw games but one thing I love about my club is, we will always adapt and come back stronger.
Players always leave but YNWA is stronger than anything.

I was only just emphasizing my own view that due to the current trend of multi-verse things being in vogue Discovery shouldn't just make a cross-over soon, but wait and build the hype so when it eventually happens, people will flock in huge numbers to see it multiple times even when the story is not ground-breaking.

They won't. From what I am hearing, Zaslav already knows why the dceu failed. He is doing things differently and getting rid of the old guys. He has had talks (unofficially) with different parties.

All DC fans are seriously waiting to see what this merger will definitely bring to the DC movie Universe.
For the sake of multi-verse, I will love if they allow all the (already created) universes to exist parallel for now, and when the interest from the audience is at the rooftop...collide all into one.
Seeing Batfleck and maybe Batison sharing one Gotham City so early won't resonate or give me that special nostalgic vibes/feeling like when they have been fully established in their separate worlds.
I guess today suppose to be the date for their shareholder meeting...

It has already been stated that both are in different worlds. What I am trying to say it, rather than create a different universe for Snyder works and actors, they want to see how they can continue the story to reach an ending with same actors but a different story. In essence, they may want to see if they can bring the actors back to progress the narrative. Atleast that is what I am interpreting cause the way it is, we can still have Cavill and Affleck and Fisher back in this continuity. Just a few changes to the story instead of recasting or discarding Superman for Supergirl. Both can coexist (in Russell Crowe's voice)

Same amount. Shazam 2 is a family friendly film and a Christmas movie. Avatar 2 isn't for everyone. They made the first one too complex and too long already. So Shazam will make it's money with or without Avatar 2.

Avatar 2 ain't doing shit. They have over delayed that movie and the story in the first one isn't something that was world changing compared to the first Matrix movie.
This is the problem with taking too long to release a sequel movie, especially when it isn't a pop culture icon. Shazam will make its money. People said same about Deadpool vs BVS and Deadpool made bank.

Not really. Gone to do some background checks and saw it most likely was tight release schedule, post production and VFX issues.

Not gonna lie, even when the movies dates was released deep down we felt it was really difficult. Especially the closeness of the movies. Black Adams was mostly doubted because it's release date was too close to production start. Almost impossible even due to the fact that we just recovering from Covid and the production shutdown of many movies. And we know WB don't have the churn rate as Disney's MCU.

Why Shazam was brought forward was probably cos it's the only FINISHED movie amongst the others. Also might benefit from its closeness to Black Adam. More publicity.
Keep the faith. WB hasn't shown much dedication and belief in their plan never before than NOW.

Another side to this story I am hearing, from YouTube is that Zaslav doesn't quite like what the current bosses are doing or the direction taken, and he is trying to bring the Dceu together in that he wants to re-integrate the former guys into the narrative. Not necessarily bring back the Snyder vision but create a continuity and unite the fanbase. In essence, there maybe reshoots that sees Cavill returning in black Adam, the story might change for Ben Affleck in the flash. Notice that the films shifted have some sort of connection or creates a kind of continuity with the old films. I mean, why would the flash that just finished filming take a year and 6 months for Vfx, same with Aquaman and black Adam, only for Shazam to be pulled forward, and I believe it finished filming after black Adam right or something.
I think we might be seeing a change in narrative that brings Cyborg back. But in all, I see it having more to do with Discovery and Zaslav trying to ditch Killian and the old woman and Hamada visions. And the merger happens in April. I might be wrong Sha.

So some guy reviewed The Batman, and critiqued Battinson's acting as being one dimensional, and the pacing of the movie for being too long and stuff.

Wait, was the movie even 3 hours? Felt like a 60 mins episode. The transitions went well and there were no unnecessary scenes. Each scene showed the characters better. This is one movie where I actually liked the Batman character, uh sorry, he wasn't really Batman till the end. He was just Vengeance.

About Robert's acting. Someone who watched the movie should know it was well explained. There was just one character played by Battinson, and it was Vengeance. There was no Bruce Wayne. And we saw Batman towards the end.

Obviously some people should get into modelling. They draw attention better in that.
Am still waiting for the movie to bomb though. And yes, I was wrong, the movie brought something new to the table that other bat films haven't.

I don't think blue beetle is a Cyborg replacement. It's going to be MM. Blue beetle like Shazam will maybe be an added cast. I don't think they are totally ditching cyborg. He may be back but when all is clear. To finish his story.

Not all may be true. But the Harry Lennix own is. He has a stunt double in the film credited on IMDB. And since it is said Jason and Gadot are in, Cavill may have agreed for his likeness to be used. I doubt he shot scenes but it could be possible he did.

TSS was fantastically poor box office wise but still got a sequel series. WW84 was a disaster critically and box office wise but it still got a sequel incoming. Shazam had less than $400mn in BO and still has a sequel and u think a Batman movie with that gross won't be renewed.
If you know the WB of last year you'd know BO isn't necessarily the main target these days.

Don't get too excited yet. They will never say for a block buster pop icon film about to be released that they don't have plans for sequel. It sends bad publicity. Bryan singer also said same after Superman returns. David Ayer was scheduled for other DC films during the height of SS promotion. Green lantern had a sequel announced.
I am not saying the movie will do bad, but don't believe anything the movie crew say during promotion, cause things quickly change.

Another thing to consider is, fixture wise, two teams on Man City's list will generally roll over for them just to make sure we don't win the title but considering Man U's in a race for top 4, I hope the try to get points out of their match....
