We know this na. What I am saying is, the dceu under Snyder wasn't going to end after jl 3. Of course it might write off the characters we know, but it would have gone on. Just like the MCU. What you are trying to say is, the dceu ends with JL 3. Nah.

The possibility of that is very low. If the New DCEU is going with the Darkseid war story arc, then the Snyderverse won't be restored. You can't have two live action shared universes that have the same story arc running side by side, it doesn't make sense. In cases like this, one universe has to go and the Snyderverse is the one that will go. New DCEU is the Canon and the Darkseid war story arc is one of the biggest stories in DC. So between the DCEU (Canon) and the Snyderverse ( elseworld), which universe do you think deserve to have Darkseid war story arc? of course the Canon (DCEU). You can't sideline the Canon for an elseworld universe rather it's the elseworld that has to go for the Canon.

So you see, if the new DCEU is going with the Darkseid war story arc, then bye bye to the Snyderverse but if they're not that's when Snyderverse has a chance.

Another way Snyderverse and DCEU can run side by side despite the same Darkseid war story arc is if they make Snyderverse animated but that doesn't make sense. Why start up a universe as live action only to change it to animation. That's just purely irrational, and I don't see WB/DC taking that part.

NOTE: Snyderverse wasn't meant to be an extended universe rather it was meant to be a closed or limited universe i.e a universe that ends or terminate at Justice league 3 unlike the DCEU that is continuous (extended). So even if the Snyderverse is restored, it won't be last for long unlike the DCEU.

Who told you this? Initially it was meant to be a MOS trilogy. Then we have what we have now but the storyboard was to have a story that ends in JL 3 with other characters getting introduced then progressional stories continue. Like the MCU, Snyder wanted to go darkseid war first to have a closed story before another phase in same shared universe would begin. Like we had with the MCU dealing with the infinity saga before now going to the multiverse saga. After it, the MCU doesn't end, it still progresses.
Snyder didn't intend for a one off as he had mentioned other heroes will gradually have been introduced.

There's nothing wrong with the logo besides it a multiverse, diversity beckons.

The problem here is the suit, they shouldn't use the same suit he used then rather they should upgrade it. A beautifully upgraded suit with the Keaton's Batman logo will be superb.

Besides there's definitely going to be an upgrade, you can't have Batman running around with that kind of suit, it's senseless and WB/DC are not dumb and besides WB/DC are great when it comes to customes, so yeah, Keaton's Batman is definitely getting an upgraded suit.

The logo is not the problem but the suit.

Man, that logo is aged. I get that introducing him, he should be wearing his old suit with the logo but bringing him to the modern era, to the dceu, he should look modern. Not with a logo that has a yellow background lol. That logo has been ditched to show a change in era and how darker things have come, hence the black and grey scheme. It's like having Superman still wearing his underwear outside or the S shield behind his cape.
Since he is coming into the new verse, we should feel it. Then again, we don't know the story yet.

From what I am hearing, it hasn't. If the discovery deal goes ahead, it will be it's own thing on HBO max. Ezra Miller hinted at it recently, Snyder himself has been hinting at it. Ezra has confirmed there's a twist and everything is open ended.

Dunno but Batman has multiple suit, so who knows besides, I think the reason they're showing this particular suit off is because of it being Keaton's Batman trademark suit

Yea I know. But seeing as it will be explained in flash, I feel the suit should change already. Unless this is for a flashback. Cause that bat logo no longer works in this era. I hope he gets an upgrade like the batfleck suit.

I don't think Snyder Zod was generic. He had a compelling story amongst the many versions. Here is a soldier who was created to be a patriot to his world. He wanted to save it but due to politics, the Krypton council won't listen. He had to take over inorder to get the codex. In summary, Snyder Zod on a neutral level was a kind of hero who cared about his people and will go to any lengths for them. The comics has always written Zod as a criminal yearning for power and domination. This one just wanted to preserve Krypton. He was flawed in that he didn't want to let go.

I think Superman problem and his villains start with how Superman is written himself. He is so much a do gooder that to write his villains you need to make them one dimensional or intergalactic. They very rarely have Superman deal with human problem preferring to keep him out of politics. It's only recently that they have been involving him in it but beforehand the perception of Superman has already been created.
You notice that Superman initially was written with no charisma, no new sides to him so it's hard creating conflict for him.

Mhen marvel is far, lol. Far far ahead. Kudos to them. Hearing Tom Cruise, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman Famke jannsen and Halle berry and I think James Marsden will make an appearance. Oh, the old fantastic 4, will in some way.
These are the things that make me angry atimes with WB. But kudos to marvel, Kevin feige and the MCU.

Nope. Hard disagree with the bolded. Playing different characters differently is what makes good actors. Great actors become whatever role they take on. They immerse you fully in the character's story. You don't see Tom Hanks anymore, you see Forrest Gump and Capt. John Miller. You don't see Meryl Streep, you see Miranda Priestly and Gail Hartman.
Gal's characters may be written differently but she plays them superficially. Never delving deep to bring the characters she plays fully to life.

I think the problem is, you don't get the argument. No one is saying Gadot is an exceptional actress or Oscar worthy, the point is, she has made her characters look different from who she is. But when you see the rock, you see Hobbs every time mostly.

As others have said, it's not really that Gal doesn't take different roles. It's that she plays those different roles the same way. Leaning on her exotic sex appeal factor for just about all of her roles.

If you are taking the different roles and playing it the same way, how then is it a different role? Same can be said of every actor. Gadot is versatile, even though not Oscar worthy, her characters are different in how they are written and how she plays them. She is believable playing different characters which the Rock hasn't done even though he is capable of doing it.

Dwayne Johnson is nothing like Ryan Reynolds, It's laughable to even compare the two. Dwayne portrays the same character in every film because he's incapable of playing anything else. Furthermore, he can't play anything else because not only will he appear out of place, but his fans won't want to see him play anything else. As a result, he plays up the charismatic and explosive action figure, sometimes humorously, and gets paid to do what he enjoys.

Ryan Reynolds, on the other hand, is a very skilled actor with strong acting chops who can mix it up, has played nuanced roles in the early days, but prefers to stay in a role that he's more comfortable with, and has also made him one of the most sought after comic actors on the globe. He, unlike Dwayne, exist in a typecast bubble purely by choice.

To be blunt, Gal Gadot is a bad actress. Technically, she is versatile due to her varied roles, but she is uninteresting in them because she can't conjure up a believable emotion to save her life. She's no Margot Robbie.

Have you seen WW84 or Criminal? Speaking of emotions, many of the roles she has been in don't let her to be emotional. She has always played the tough woman but differently. When she is asked to be emotional or vulnerable, she does it well. Watch Criminal and WW84.

Have you seen this movie starring Reynolds and Denzel Washington? How about Burial? Reynolds has played different characters before. Even though he now seems to be playing the same roles, he plays them in different ways in that you can't compare free guy with the role he played in red notice or Deadpool. But the rock plays Hobbs every time aside the movie where he played a cripple, Central Intelligence (he played something close to Hobbs but very different in a way).
You can play the same role but make it different.
