This thing has happened before in the comics. It's a progression. The government will deny it or throw Waller to the bus but Task force x will still go on. They are the government's puppet. They might end up calling them checkmate but with superheroes on it's list ( superheroes created by the government)
It could go either ways but I know for sure that task force x will be back.

I know of all these u saying. But that's how industry generally works. Big screen pays more. Besides the big reason you are seeing big stars who have no TV background doing series is cos of big money streaming networks.
The key point is how many TV actors get paid big bucks as much as their movie counterparts.

Besides, actors and actresses who gets those big pays have usually created a name for themselves in the TV industry. They're powerhouses there already. Eg, Reese Witherspoon, Jenifer Aniston, Meryl Streep etc.
Reese and Aniston was paid $20mn for The Morning Show. And these are usually projects that heavily relies on the actor's popularity.

Note: TV also loosely refers to shows these days streaming or not. Besides most shows worth watching now (asides reality TV) with huge popularity is usually affiliated with streamers.

The Witcher is a different ballgame. It's Big already. A franchise, so Cavill's star power while it helps or improves the show's success doesn't necessarily dictates it's success.

There are some BIG actors you'll bring from TV and drop them as leads for huge blockbusters that might fail cos of a slight shift from audiences.
Although streaming is changing the narrative these days.

I don't think you are grasping what I am trying to say. Cavill is a household name, though far from being an A Lister. Small screen pays less, sure but when it comes to top draws, people whose face brings audiences, they tend to get a higher pay. Check how much Sam L Jackson was paid for to appear in agents of shield, as a cameo appearance and guest.
Now, Netflix isn't a tv series but a streaming platform, for Cavill to sign the contract that makes his face a property of the platform, he should be paid more than that. Cause, he is the big sell or top draw of the series. He isn't an unknown. So my guess is, for such contracts to be signed, there has to be added bonuses and the 8 mil thing is just for shooting the series. Or perhaps we are reading what they want us to read.
I am not denying that tv shows pay less. Of course. But when it comes to having a known movie star in big grossing films appear on a TV show, they get a higher pay cause of what they attract. And Netflix isn't a tv series platform so we don't get off topic.

Modified: If the Witcher franchise was big enough to sell itself, Netflix won't have cast Cavill in the role. There are lots of people who got on it cause of his name.

Bros, there are actors making huge banks on TV. It takes time shooting series than most films. In fact the reason why movies pay higher is because of theatrical returns. But there are those cashing out big on tv and come to think of it, it isn't exactly tv but web series on a streaming platform. If Cavill is paid 8 mil for it despite all the merchandising sponsorship and audience pull, then he is under paid. Unless, 8 mil is just for filming, and other returns are included.

Nope. It just means they're now in the spotlight, and if done right, we may end up getting a JL vs suicide squad movie or a Cadmus storyline with Waller trying to take down the JL alongside some corrupt politicians. I mean, peace maker could be setting up some interesting storyline ahead.

The problem in net worth might be how much you think Cavill's talent is worth. I still don't think he can control really big pays as "True A-list artists" do. Robert Downey, Tom Cruise, Gal Gadot, Meryl Street, Dwayne Johnson or Ryan Reynolds. Etc.
Although he got about $14mn for MOS and about $20mn for Josstice League.

Yep. Enola Holmes 2 is a Netflix project. It's filmed already and about to debut in a few months time.

Of course Cavill can command a big pay. He just needs to be in movies, and keep hoping they do well in the box office, and he gets critical acclaim in them.
If he was paid 8 mil overall for Witcher, that isn't lucrative enough. Especially for a personality like his. He is the one selling that series.

We don't know the details of the contract or whether that rumor is true.

But I heard cos of that huge Witcher sum he demanded higher from WB and peeps didn't like that.

That's poor on his end. Considering actors like him get paid 15 mil as from their next sequel in the franchise. If he's paid 8 mil, which is relatively small and he's demanding above 15 mil if true, then he goes on to sign that Netflix contract (if true), I think he might be the one to regret it. Unless the contract is only for Witcher merchandize. And not Cavill as an actor. Cause if it is, it means he can no longer be a brand ambassador for Huawei or appear in ads and films while doing Witcher or other Netflix projects. But he is filming enola Holmes sequel if I am not mistaken. Is that one owned by Netflix?

If it's 20 mill or in that rank, that's low for that kind of contract obligation. Cause it can ruin his career in a way if he is prevented from appearing in other projects. People may become reluctant to cast him in the future.

During TSS filming Kevin Feige was on set watching as things go. I ain't surprised about this. Besides most DC and MCU executives have cordial relationship between themselves.
Zack Snyder sef was the one who recommended a fight choreographer for Gunn in TSS I think.

The only peeps I see having issues with each other are Disney and WB execs.

The problem is not the logo but the suit. Logos are trans era, in other words, they can exist at any time except the party in charge says otherwise but that's not the same with a suit. Suit changes because of change in technology unlike a logo which is not affected by it.

So what you should be more bothered about is the suit. An upgraded suit with that logo will be amazing.

So logos are trans era but suits are not, the reason being the former not being dependent on change in technology unlike the latter.

Concerning the issue of the logo not depicting the dark and gritty nature of Batman, well Keaton's Batman during his time was dark toned or natured despite the fact that he was donning that logo. So I don't see how the logo affects the dark nature of Batman.

Concerning your analogy with Superman's pant, the pant is not the logo rather it's a part of the suit. So they had to let go of the pant because it can't fit into this era unlike a logo that can fit into any era. So you see your Superman analogy doesn't add up

If you don't like the logo, just say you don't like the logo rather than saying it doesn't fit into this era cos logos unlike suits are trans era until when the party in charge says otherwise.

Why will the party in charge change it? Simple, because they want new things but if Keaton's Batman (WB/DC behind the scene) says that he's okay with his Bat logo, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

In all modern retellings of Batman, which one uses the black and yellow till now? Putting color on Batman now seems strange. Superman's logo has also changed with time. In comics and motion pictures.

Snyder himself said it in an interview that his DCEU was not the MCU styled one rather a Lord of the rings styles universe where everything just terminates in Justice league 3. According to him the only way the universe will continue is if they reboot it or time leap it 20 to 30 years into the future where Bruce Kent (Clark Kent's and Lois Lane son who mysteriously doesn't have super powers) will replace Bruce Wayne as Batman who died in Justice league 2

Every other characters that were to be introduced were meant to be introduced either with in rebooted universe or in the future (which is 20 to 30 years from the present timeline).

I guess you're not aware of this.

Zack said it himself in an interview, that was during the release of ZSJL. I saw the interview, I wasn't told.

If he said this, how come there were plans for more films? Taking place in the dceu. Yes, the JL we know would have had their story come full circle but other stories like suicide squad, Deathstroke, Nightwing, Batgirl was still going to happen. Cause there were plans. Snyder said his story, what he started with MOS ends with JL 3 not the dceu.

We know this na. What I am saying is, the dceu under Snyder wasn't going to end after jl 3. Of course it might write off the characters we know, but it would have gone on. Just like the MCU. What you are trying to say is, the dceu ends with JL 3. Nah.

The possibility of that is very low. If the New DCEU is going with the Darkseid war story arc, then the Snyderverse won't be restored. You can't have two live action shared universes that have the same story arc running side by side, it doesn't make sense. In cases like this, one universe has to go and the Snyderverse is the one that will go. New DCEU is the Canon and the Darkseid war story arc is one of the biggest stories in DC. So between the DCEU (Canon) and the Snyderverse ( elseworld), which universe do you think deserve to have Darkseid war story arc? of course the Canon (DCEU). You can't sideline the Canon for an elseworld universe rather it's the elseworld that has to go for the Canon.

So you see, if the new DCEU is going with the Darkseid war story arc, then bye bye to the Snyderverse but if they're not that's when Snyderverse has a chance.

Another way Snyderverse and DCEU can run side by side despite the same Darkseid war story arc is if they make Snyderverse animated but that doesn't make sense. Why start up a universe as live action only to change it to animation. That's just purely irrational, and I don't see WB/DC taking that part.

NOTE: Snyderverse wasn't meant to be an extended universe rather it was meant to be a closed or limited universe i.e a universe that ends or terminate at Justice league 3 unlike the DCEU that is continuous (extended). So even if the Snyderverse is restored, it won't be last for long unlike the DCEU.

Who told you this? Initially it was meant to be a MOS trilogy. Then we have what we have now but the storyboard was to have a story that ends in JL 3 with other characters getting introduced then progressional stories continue. Like the MCU, Snyder wanted to go darkseid war first to have a closed story before another phase in same shared universe would begin. Like we had with the MCU dealing with the infinity saga before now going to the multiverse saga. After it, the MCU doesn't end, it still progresses.
Snyder didn't intend for a one off as he had mentioned other heroes will gradually have been introduced.

The problem here is the suit, they shouldn't use the same suit he used then rather they should upgrade it. A beautifully upgraded suit with the Keaton's Batman logo will be superb.

Besides there's definitely going to be an upgrade, you can't have Batman running around with that kind of suit, it's senseless and WB/DC are not dumb and besides WB/DC are great when it comes to customes, so yeah, Keaton's Batman is definitely getting an upgraded suit.

Man, that logo is aged. I get that introducing him, he should be wearing his old suit with the logo but bringing him to the modern era, to the dceu, he should look modern. Not with a logo that has a yellow background lol. That logo has been ditched to show a change in era and how darker things have come, hence the black and grey scheme. It's like having Superman still wearing his underwear outside or the S shield behind his cape.
Since he is coming into the new verse, we should feel it. Then again, we don't know the story yet.
