exactly what i was thinking. If WB are smart, they'll leave sequels to be released 4 years or 5 apart. WW needed no sequel yet i d0n't kn0w why they rushed it.

It's safe to say Aquaman has already passed $900m by now.

Warner Bros will officially release the weekend numbers by the end of today and I bet it won't be anything less than $920m.

Everything is now competition.

They must be working seriously to make sure Eternals movie comes out before New Gods.

The way i see it, Eternals might come 1st cos WB have alot of franchise planned, and the MCU's schedule is n0w clean. Unless, Ava can c0me up with a great script before 2019 ends and WB agrees to her terms, then we can see producti0n begin in early 2020. I want to see the greatest escape artist in it, Miracle Man a.k.a scott free and Big Barda. What's going on with the flash m0vie? Or the justice league dark? No JL sequel and a JL dark film?

Even though Marvel's Eternals is a ripoff of DCs New Gods.

DC's New Gods focuses on the early days of Darkseid, Steppenwolf, Orion, High father thousands of years ago.
These beings that dominated the two planets Apokolips and New Genesis long before life began on earth.
We might see Darkseid in the movie.

New Gods is like a prequel to the entire DC universe.

Marvel's Eternals centers on the species that existed millions of years before life began on earth and long before the infinity stones were created.
We might see Titans.. Thanos race and kee and skrull.

It's a prequel to the entire Marvel universe.

Marvel copied the concept for Eternals from New Gods.
And they mischievously announced the movie shortly after WB announced New Gods movie.

no mind am. They talk abt Aquaman being boring and people sn0ring in cinema, then i am like, how did 'these' people react to antman and the wasp? Everything fr0m start to finish was abt slapping quantum to literally everything. The villain was uninspiring, reminds me of steppenwolf. I regret watching the film. Antman was good becos of its hum0ur, antman and wasp had no hum0ur, n0t one i could smile to. Who made me finish the m0vie was Evangeline Lilly. I love her smiles.

u say that like its s0me favor d0ne for DC. Look at the last jedi box office, it wasn't as that of the force awakens, then again rogue one and solo. If those 2 decide releasing films same m0nth, same day, it isn't minemrys or the dceu nairaland thread that'll suffer the loss but the 2 c0mpanies. We fans would just watch the films we want at cinema. So if u think had star wars been released in december and aquaman wouldn't have made a cent, u are wr0ng. Aquaman would've made m0ney though n0t close to 800 mill but so also would star wars. Instead of it making the usual 1 billion, it might settle for less, s0mething n0ne of the studios want. You forget that WB also own top gaming franchises such as mortal kombat and mortal kombat x, injustice 1& 2, etc which are available on PS consoles, Android and iphones devices.

They also partner with Netflix to turn top Japanese animes into movies. E.g Bleach, full metal achelmist, etc but I don't think they are taking the partnership seriously. Sometimes I wonder if the management of WB actually know what they are doing. They have a lot at their disposal to be far bigger than Disney but here they are still lagging behind.

Disney of recent finally gave Netflix rights to air avengers and have also partnered with Hulu for streaming services partnership.
