So Justice League did not suck. It didn't annoy me, had a couple of laughs, mostly thanks to Barry (won't be surpised if Whedon wrote all his dialogue). There were the expected rushed bits, the film is less than 2 hours, unless you wait to the very end of the credits (I didn't, I needed the loo, then didn't go back. Although, I did watch the mid credit scene).

And now that I think about the villain's plot, I'm honestly wondering why the mother boxes didn't react all that time, until now? The reason given made sense at the time, then now I think of the centuries that passed (maybe even over a millennia), I'm like nope...but continue.

Oh and Superman's face kept freaking me out. At one point even Bruce's newly shaved face just looked odd. Oh and Danny Elfman's music was meh. That mofo definitely mixed in his old Batman theme at one point. To be frank, Elfman's not the composer he used to be.

Anywho, it was a fun watch, even if the film is rather rushed - less than 2 hours for 5 major characters (Mr. 6 took his time).

Just finished watching JL, I ll try to avoid spoilers.
I noticed some scenes from the trailers are missing, we ll Polly get em in the extended edition on Blu-ray.

Steppenwolf was a pretty decent villain, he handed the league's ass to them.
Superman's return was part of the highlight of the movie.
it had humour, Flash gave the comical relief without losing the serious-drama feel typically known of DCEU.

Did I enjoy it? yes, so did everyone in the studio.
will I see it again? yes

I think Geoff John was calling the shots, he must have badly wanted Whedon's fingerprint in the finished product. Whedon cut out a lot of important scenes including that important scene with Alfred that got everyone geeking out. He removed Lex Luthor from the main story and placed him in the after credits. Very petty decisions causing plotholes everywhere.

i hope wb learns. I just want snyder to make his own indie film so people can see his talents. Studio films are dulling him and hiding his potentials. How can u spend years making a product just to have it cut to pieces? If i was snyder, i will quit.

I'm watching the JL Wednesday and I'm hoping it's good. BVS didn't live up to the hype. I'm more concerned about resurrecting Henry Cavill Superman's character who always looked dull.

I still think the review for JL would be good, am just being optimistic about this irrespective of how critics had reacted to former DCEU movies. But above all, judging from d trailers and clips, I believe for a fact that this movie is gonna be EPIC and AWESOME...as for me am ALL IN.

i hope its good. Bt the 2hr runtime isn't doing it for me.

zimmer retired from cbm and don't know about junkie but there has to be a reason why he was replaced.....elfman is lacking fresh ideas but that's not disputing the the fact that he's among (imo) the top 5 in the business, but once you've done so many films for so many years....you tend to get rusty..... 1st, u've got to kn0w the DC fans and those fr0m other camps. DC fans made no c0mplains regarding cyborg or flash's look here. If u saw anything like that here, check the pers0n's past c0mments. Dc fans c0mplain is abt the 2hr run time. Seriously? An ensemble piece like JL that needs the audience to c0nnect to the characters gets chopped down to 2hrs just for business purposes and u expect the fans to n0t say anything? The audience pay to watch these films, mhen n0t the studio executives.

TBH, I don't care much about themes i hardly notice them, I pay more attention to the plot, cinematography, dialogue, acting, editing and effects ......I listened to the tracks there are like 4 I really like 1 very depressing one the rest sound meh, it's sounds more like Star Wars...but it doesn't matter I'll seen how it does with the picture first before evaluating it....

themes in films put audience into the m0od the scene is. Its necessary for the themes to make sense. Its an0ther character on its own. Everytime i remember bvs, the theme that c0mes to mind is "a beautiful lie" and "must there be a superman?". Epicness in the making. Even Lex's scene made sense. WW was the weakest, and i guess JL is going to take that spot now.

The entire theme tracks for Justice League has been released and I must say I am not impressed with Danny Elfman's generic themes;but sounded underwhelming to Snyder and Zimmer's previous worka. Even a fan had this to say in annoyance:

"Zack Snyder screened JL for WB executives in March and they were happy with the film, but Snyder felt the film needed something more, he called joss whedon, to write a few additonal scenes, with plan to shoot them over the summer, but he had to stepped down to deal with his unfortunate tragedy, he asked whedon to shoot those scenes, a week later, after that, whedon replaced Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL) with Danny Elfman, an odd move for a film that was already finished and scored and Holkenborg announced his disappointment publicly, as well as fans of MOS and BVS, myself included. In October whedon finished his work on the film, with rumors that WB mandated whedon to cut Snyder's film to 2hrs, without any explanation, probably because of The Last Jedi being released 4 weeks later. A week ago Elfman released the tracks Hero's Theme and Friends and Foes, much to the disappointment of fans, myself inlcuded, because the tracks sound too generic and not on par with Zimmer's and Holkenborg's work, they sound like a combination of Tim Burton's Batman, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, Ang Lee's Hulk (all scored by Elfman), Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones, George Lucas' Star Wars and Richard Donner's Superman (all scored by John Williams), the most recent track is United, in which the composition sounds like a combination of Raimi's Spider-Man and whedon's the Avengers, again much to the disappointment of fans, myself inluded, people are holding to their opinions, until the film's release next week, to see how the score fits the narrative. Elfman is an arrogant and unprofessional composer, who was fired from Spider-Man, because he didn't want to listen to Raimi and who recently very arrogantly claimed that his Batman theme is the only one that matters, when Zimmer and Holkenborg made much better compositions, with Holkenborg making a love letter to Zimmer, Elfman and the Arkham games with Beautiful Lie from BVS."

Guys watching all the trailers of Justice League and counting down to days until its debut, I have a feeling that this movie is going to be a masterpiece. The theme, the feel, everything screams EPIC. If it goes the way I think it will, it may very well signal the dawn of DC. Even Minemrys will return to the fold lol

Me and my guy who is a marvel fan felt disappointed with ragnarok. Bringing in hulk to a w0nderful story ruined it. Thor and hulk had to share air space and story. If dc had released this, guys like badinfluence would'a been all over the place. Fanboyism for you. I anticipated Thor but it let me down, h0nestly. Lets forget abt Thor ragnarok shall we?

LoT is going the way of flash these days....Season 1 was the most reasonable, now, they're bending scientific facts, which is now logic to some of us sha.

Take a look at season 1, when the guy who created Star Wars was killed, how Ray lost his super suit. Now imagine Ray interacted with his younger self, isn't that supposed to affect the present Ray?

Rip hunter c0ntacted with his younger self. N0thing happened. Savage did same, n0thing happened. Stein did to0. LOT is still following their rules. The only rule they can't break is time travelling to an event and participating in said event they had first time travelled in. For instance, i time travelled to 1999 to prevent Obj and pdp fr0m winning the presidency. I succeeded in having Ojukwu bec0me president, then a m0nth later ojukwu splits nigeria and brings biafra. Then i go back to 1999 again to prevent ojukwu and obj fr0m being president at the very time a past me who had 1st time travelled is trying to prevent obj fr0m winning and ojukwu to be the president. Should that me and present me meet, time would break according to the law of LOT since neither the 1st me in 1999 and current me in 1999 are fr0m that time period. Should current me succeed, there will be no past me and thus no present me, and i never get to my timeline, history and the future gets fractured. And should past me still succeed, it bec0mes a time loop that'll still break time.
