For me Soyinka was only trying to use complex psychology on the young lad, if it was an honest mistake like his son claimed, it wont have created such uproar. Ipob alert!

Tolexander: The fact is that many suicide cases in Nigeria aren’t reported, the reason while we have low number of cases recorded for us. You people don't even want to hear any positive news about Nigeria. What if it's the underreporting of sucide in other countries that made Nigeria to be in that position? With social media, every sucide is being reported in Nigeria to the best of my knowledge. Except it's not sucide |

Sensenan: If Soyinka has asked the guy politely for that seat I don't think the guy would has reacted the way he did. Besides not every body gives a damn about what you are or who you are. You don't ask people to respect you. If the Prof had asked politely the case wouldn't be any different. When people like or reference you, it comes naturally. The boy is just a unadulterated rude fellow |

Jayslicky: The man didn't disrespect Soyinka he was only fighting for his right, the seat was assigned to him and it's normal for soyinka to seat elsewhere, if it was me I would have let Soyinka have the seat but not everyone is the same, he had a choice and he chose what's best for himself. The young man was not only disrespectful but also lacked discipline can Discipline entails you sacrifice your right on the podium of of respect if need be. If it we're his father , would he still insist? The Prof is a senior for crying out loud! |

Politics › Re: Are The Speakers Of The Bauchi And Edo Assemblies Legal Or Illegal? by Minjim: 12:40pm On Jun 23, 2019 |
I'm afraid pdp has outsmarted APC in Bauchi state . Out of 31 members pdp has 8, NNPC 1 and APC 22. It's obvious APC has the overwhelming majority to elect and remove the Speaker if their members are disciplined and United. But they won't be where they are today if they have those qualities in the first place. I don't think the issue of timing is of any significant here . Apc Should just work at gaining back the support of those two rogue members that took part in that sham election. The possibility of this is however an uphill task when one recall that the speaker is one of them.
The future in Bauchi is certainly pregnant with possibilities |

livebyday: I watched this video to the end
This is so sad
Everything the professor said is true
He never incited or instigated anything
He spoke about the need of the nigerian media to change the narative that Nigerians are bad
He spoke about how Nigerians parents are over charged in Ghana high school fees for lower quality education
He spoke about the need for effective communication between embassies and Nigerian community
He spoke about the community identifying the bad ones not just ignoring them , identify them and report them
He spoke about how Ghanaian universities rely on Nigerians for man power yet turn around and label us
He spoke about the need to report what Nigerians are experiencing, the media should visit prisons , investigate accusations and broadcast the reality versus the Ghanaian manufactured all Nigerians are bad narative
He said Nigerian universities are far better yet each Nigerian pays a minimum of $10,000 in university of legron there in Ghana for far lower education that every single federal university in Nigeria is far better than that university
Basically he called for what Nigerians are really suffering in Ghana to be exposed
Now this shows that alot headlines in Ghana sensationalizing Nigerians as criminals might actually be false You've really done justice to that video thereby saving my scarce and exorbitant 9mobile data. I salute you
