The problem wit catholic priest as you have rightly said is dt they do not give glory to God. Another thing you should note that ppl going to them have turnd them into a God believing that 1s they go to this priest their sin hav bin 4given and most times these pp com back to the priest with the same sin or even worse since what they v 2do is confess 2d priest whereas the blood of Jesus cleanse and washes us completely from our sins!
What James 5:13-16 is saying is that when you want to pray,ensure you confess your sin and repent of them b4 u pray so that the sin will nt stand as an hinderance to your prayers 4m bin answered!

I believe the problem of every1 here is not abt paying the tithe but we have problems with pastor enriching themselves by 'commanding' people to pay tithe, and if we have the Holy Spirit within us we will know that it is non of our business to know or find out what our pastors are doing with our tithe(that is if we are paying) and i know that is why most of us are in different bondage bcus of our lack of understanding of the efficacy of tithe paying!
Note that your tithe is not a tithe until you give it in your place of worship!
It is not a tithe until it passes through a priest(pastor etc)!
It is not a tithe until you have an understanding(believe in) of what you are doing!
It is not a tithe until you give it with an open mind(not thinking abt what ur pastor will do with it)!
Tithe is not a debt you owe and pay,it is a seed you sow!

You tell these preachers that the law says the wayward children should be stoned to death, they will tell you we are under the Grace and we cannot do that no more. Tell these preachers the law says adulterers and fornicators should be stoned to death, they will tell you we are NOW under Grace. Why are we NOT under Grace ONLY when it comes to tithe.

Besides, biblical tithe was NEVER from MONEY even though money existed since Genesis, it was ALWAYS crops and animals and even that biblical tithe had ended with Christ and in Christ as contained in Hebrews chapter 7. Not everyone in Israel was commanded to tithe, ONLY those involved in crops and animal. Jesus as a Carpenter didn't tithe because he didn't produce crops and animal. Peter, Paul etc NEVER tithed because they never produced crops and animal. Friends, NO ONE, I MEAN NO ONE PAYS OR PRACTICE GOD'S BIBLICAL TITHE TODAY. What you have in the church system is modified and twisted version of God's biblical tithe which itself had ended.
