My opinion.
no offence but are you a single mother??

Put yourself in his mom's shoes.. And you later find out your son kept such an important detail hidden from you. She's not a third party, she's his mom hence, she has a God given (and defined) role to play in his life. Wife is wife, mother is mother, no need to blackmail.

Fact is whether we admit it or not, a child from a previous relationship is very important and should be handled with care.

"How come about the child? Why is she not with the child's dad? What role does the child's dad have in the child's life? Is he very much around? Is he violent? Does he visit the child? If yes, will he be coming over to their home when they eventually get married?" These are some of the pertinent questions that must be dealt with (even by the Op himself).

Single mom's still get married every Saturday. But one has to be sure there'll be no drama from the child's dad (or his relatives) later when these two get married.
i almost screamed when i read the counsel she gave..so his mother is a stranger and his fiancee is not...thanks man,u just nailed it..

Christianity EtcRe: Jesus Christ Warning To Christians In Nigeria by misreal(m): 12:05pm On Apr 13, 2016
waice6571:
JESUS CHRIST WARNING TO CHRISTAINS IN NIGERIA
This is message the Lord gave Jesus Christ gave me for Christians in Nigeria on the 20th of February, 2016 at 4:45pm.

I came back from a trip and was about to rest before our Lord Jesus Christ appeared in my room. When I saw Him, he said to me, my son my peace be unto you. I came to clarify the three dreams you had few days ago. The first night, in which you had the dream, you saw in a place where a group of men caught a man and cut off his head with a matchet (big knife) and after which they started rejoicing. Then you woke up from sleep and it was a dream, and you began to wonder the meaning of the dream.

On the second night, you had a dream where another group of men caught another person and killed him with knife also. And when you woke up from sleep, you started wondering what the first and the second dreams meant.
On the third night, you saw yet another group of men with guns who forcefully took some people and shot them to death. And you got angry and went and fought against them and defeated them. When you woke up, you were so much disturbed because the dreams all came in sequence. As a result, you started praying and asking for the meaning of the dreams, and it is what I have come to explain to you.

The first dream you had was what the Hausas are doing to other ethnic groups, especially Igbos in the northern part of Nigeria. The Hausas are killing the Igbos without limit.

The second dream was to show you how the Muslims are killing the Christians in the Northern Nigeria. It is paining me, the Lord said, that Christians including you (that is me) in other parts of Nigeria are not seriously praying for the Christians in the Northern part of Nigeria. The Muslims want to wipe away Christianity in Nigeria so as to take over the whole country and turn it into a Muslim country.

The third dream you had, was what is about to happen in Nigeria. If Christians do not pray seriously, few months from now the dream you had will certainly come to reality. Those men who you saw with guns are the Muslim military men that will be used to kill the Christians. They are already in your midst. They are waiting for the set time for it. The Muslim leaders are holding secret meetings seriously to wipe off Christianity in Nigeria. This meeting does not only hold in Nigeria, but in other countries because Nigeria has great population among other countries in West Africa, and this is in agreement with the great dragon - Satan. Satan has given them his approval to turn Nigeria into a Muslim country because, there are many elect in Nigeria, and the prayers of the righteous and holy Christians in Nigeria are disturbing and destroying a lot of things in the kingdoms of darkness.
Son, Jesus called me and said, I want to do to Buhari what I did to Abacha and Abiola, if only my people can cry unto me for seven days. The reason is that he has an evil agenda for Nigeria. If I don’t do something to defend my people, many Christians are going to lose their lives.

It is paining me, Jesus remarked, that the leaders of Christianity in Nigeria are busy building their mansions and kingdoms and making investments everywhere in the world, but they don’t have eyes to see that there is great destruction and suffering coming very fast against Christians in Nigeria. They are thinking that flying to abroad countries with their family will save them when it will happen. When it will happen, all of their riches and wealth will be destroyed by the Muslims and a lot of their members will be killed. I am warning my people to wake up from their slumber and start praying seriously before it will be too late to pray.

I, Jesus Christ, the alpha and Omega, am giving Christians in Nigeria 7 days to fast and pray to me from 18th - 24th April 2016. Every Christian leader should gather from 6 am-6 pm. All through the 7 days and on the last day, they should be in their churches till the time of closure of the fasting and prayer.

They should confess their sins, and forsake them. They should confess the sins of the church because the church has sinned greatly by backslidding, immorality, adultery, fornication, lust, blasphemy, hatred against one another, unforgiveness, disunity, grudges, envy, jealousy, bloodshed, etc.
They should confess the sins of the leaders of Christianity which include, corruption, lies, idolatry, love of money, pride, hatred, witchcraft, etc. Some of the leaders are collecting money from the Muslim leaders and key politicians and give applause to them when they meet, instead of rebuking them on their evil activities.

The church should confess the sin of bloodshed in Nigeria. There is so much bloodshed in Nigeria which as a result, many innocent blood are crying against Nigeria. The church should wage war against the spirit that controls Nigeria, which is the spirit in control of all the rivers in Niger areas.
Son, this warning is for the people that should pray this prayer. The people that will pray the prayer are those who are sincere in heart and not in lips. That is those who are sincerely honest: who will not take the revelation that they will received during the prayer to politicians and political leaders. Secondly, this prayer is not be prayed by any person, who belong to one political group or the other in Nigeria. It is specifically for those who are not political party members.

Furthermore, they should pray that what the Nigerian political leaders and Islamic leaders are planning against the indigenous son of Biafra, Nnamdi Kalu will not work because some people have gone outside Nigeria and consulted evil altars in order to kill him since he does not want to accept bribe from the Nigerian Leaders like others did. And if they succeed in killing him, Nigeria is going to experience serious war by the Biafrans and many people will lose their lives and properties.

The people that consulted evil altars against him did it in a way that he (Nnamdi kalu) will fall sick and will be flown to abroad for medical treatment which after many days, he will die, so that the federal Government of Nigeria will not be held responsible for his death. But the Biafrans, all over the world will rise up for war and there will be war. That is the reason why I came to explain the dream to you. Let my people pray because when the crisis and war will start, it will be a fast way for many people to go to hell fire. The Muslims are getting ready but the Christians are relaxing and also careless. They are not even security and spiritually conscious. Remember son, Jesus remarked, that I said, few months from now if my people do not pray seriously, they will regret for not praying.

After giving me this information, Jesus Christ turned and left.

Christianity EtcRe: What I Experienced At Redemption Camp Yesterday by misreal(m): 12:00am On Mar 30, 2016
Ken4Christ:
Op, your worries about what you observed in the camp is not out of place. However, we should be careful how we point fingers at Men of God. It is God who placed them there that will judge them.

Generally, there are so much compromises in churches today For instance, doctrines preached these days are what the people want to hear and not what they should hear. A lot of Pastors are wealth driven and to get this wealth, numbers count. They can't afford to lose members. So, all kinds of liberty goes on today in most of our Churches.

Secular music should not be encouraged even though a few of them conveys good message.

Many a time, all these lapses occur when doctrines are lopsided. If doctrines are properly balance, GOC of any ministry don't have to be everywhere for members to know and do what is right.

However, your decision to quit church is a very foolish one It is like self condemnation. That is a sure ticket to hell you just picked. There are still Ministries you can get balanced doctrines to some extent.

Keep searching until you find the one your spirit agrees with. Ensure you give your life to Jesus first otherwise the devil might end up leading you to religious groups you think are serving God but are agents of darkness.
OP come and read oh

RomanceRe: Should I Still Go Ahead And Marry Him? by misreal(m): 12:38am On Mar 12, 2016
lastpage:
You see, they say "Marriage is likened to NIGHT MARKET"........ until you enter, you can never be 100% sure what it is and how it will turn-out.

Seriously, did you even consider that the guy might be broke or going through some financial distress, when he came to see you in the hospital? Yet you think it is your "God-given Right" that he must pay your hospital Bills (for an off-On relationship that you cannot swear both of you were not doing some kpekus with someone else!).

This is what l dont like about "some" women!
They assume because they are "women" (and have that thing), a man should just become clairvoyant and pander to all their wishes! Men too have NEEDS, for Christ sake!
At least, he came to visit you in the hospital, that shows he cares.

Now, he has slapped you once (we dont know what led to it though) but l can assure you that if the event that led to it happened again, he would likely slap you again. He could be the type of person that is temperamental and reacts when provoked.

But where you goofed is trying to "form CIA" on him.
I am sure when he realised you were taking him for a ride by pretending it happened to your girlfriend, when you are actually referring to your relationship with him, he got Mad! (I would too) .......... and called your bluff!

He may not necessarily mean what he said but he is giving you the "middle finger" and saying in Oshiomole's voice: Go and Die! grin

Verdict: Dont marry him.
You dont trust him, you dont believe him....and now you have also sowed the seeds of doubt in his own mind.

It wont work, l dont want to hear another sad-story here in a a few months time.

Like: My loving husband is a beast! he slaps me whn we are making love! grin grin

Lastpage!

BTW: Dont let me see you trying to collect money/gift from him henceforth, .....now that you know you should not marry him o.
You know he can slap wella-wella. undecided
correct!

Please modify your post, and try to improve on your written English, it is appalling to say the least, re-read your post, try to make necessary edition, present it more lucid and comprehensible , for readers to offer their advices which you direly seek....

* modified*
Back to the topic; Madam do not marry him, not because he is not suitable for you, but rather you are not psychologically mature for marriage. A lady with the mentality of "if you don't pay my bills or spoil me with gifts, then you not the one" is definitely not psychologically ripe for marriage ...... also the hypothetical anecdote you tried using on him further reaffirms my stance on your immaturity........ so i'll as a matter of urgency admonish you take out time, forget marriage for now, and do some growing up before you venture into that esteemed institution called marriage which is often trivialise by kids of today.....

*for those quoting me on inanities, you are only wasting your time as i will not reciprocate the privilege*
i need to give u a handshake ffor this advice.

Please I'm really sorry this post is going to be a bit long.

I went to a supermarket today to get stuff. I bought stuff worth #1040 and paid using POS. My phone was off as at the time of payment.

When I got home and charged my phone, I immediately saw alerts..
One showing a debit alert of #20,000 and another showing a debit alert of #1,040. Both transactions were done using POS..
I was shocked because I never bought anything worth #20,000...
And the #20,000 credit alert showed that the POS was used in Ikeja, Lagos...but the supermarket I bought things at is in Ibadan.

My question now is, can I get my #20,000 back or have I been permanently scammed?embarassed
Or has this ever happened to anybody??
maybe u should report the matter to your bank.

WorriedGal:
Hello nairalanders, I'm in a situation that has been giving me sleepless nights. This is a new account i created just to protect my identity.
I got married 11 months ago to my best friend. We dated for about 8yrs before we got married, though we broke up in between and were apart for about 3yrs before finally coming back together again.
Part of the reasons why i broke up with him was, he took advantage of the fact that i was the type who doesn't ask him for anything. If i even collect money from him when we were dating, i always give him back and he'll take it. Because of that, he too didn't bother spending on me. He never took the initiative to buy me things or took me out as other boyfriends do. So i felt he didn't appreciate the fact that i'm not a demanding girlfriend. Though there was a time i had issues from home and didn't have money for my rent, he raised the money for me. That is the only time he gave me cash. And that is something i never forgot.
Fast forward to the present, he's currently not working. He is an entrepreneur who has been pursuing one project or another. While i'm also an entrepreneur but i have lots of clients i work with, so i'm the only one who brings in money to the home. The house we are living in, i paid 80% of the rent and the furnishing was entirely from my pocket. The car we are using, i got it with my money. I've been the one taking care of every single expenses in the house since we got married last year. I also make sure he gets clothes for himself with my money. When i get paid by clients, sometimes i give him money to send home to his parents and i send to mine as well.
He hasn't brought a dime home since after our wedding.
But he has been very very supportive, caring and faithful. Sometimes he takes me to my meetings with clients and waits for me till i'm done. He helps with house chores most times when i'm tired.
My problem now is, i know it is the responsibility of the man to provide for the home. I've advised that he gets a job for the meantime until his projects actualize, so that he can at least be bringing something home. But he refused. I have access to all his atms and his phone so its not a case of he's hiding his money.
Right now, i'm unable to work due to complications from my pregnancy so money is no longer coming from my end. Our rent expires in two months. Baby will arrive in months. But we are penniless. I've exhausted all my savings on hospital bills and our home expenses. I've asked him twice what's the plan, and he said he's still hoping on his projects. I asked him to at least look for something to do for now so we can gather our rent but he's sluggish about it. Everyday he'll just sit at home with me and be sleeping or watching movies.
I've gotten to my boiling point. I'm frustrated. If i had been saving my money since i got married, i would have saved up to 2 million naira. But now i have nothing. What do i do? Is there any mistake i made?
It's a very confusing situation because he gives me all the support and care i need, but he himself does not go out there to hustle and make sure money comes in for us to at least feed. The money with me now won't last us more than this week.
Please help me with matured advice & sorry for the long writeup.
opp i will tell you the truth.no man wants a family he cannot tke care of.if a man can gives u access into his acounts as well as refuse to cheat on you,he truly loves you and can do anything for you.but just like some men hates the idea of being an entreprenuer, some other men hates the idea of working for others.dont nag, just keep talking to him and try to make him understand how much you need support right now.

CrimeRe: #FreeYunusaYellow: SAN, 4 Lawyers File For Yunusa Yellow's Bail by misreal(m): 10:21am On Mar 11, 2016
fiizznation:
Yunusa is innocent of the allegations he has been accused of, and this will always be my stand. Just because yunusa doesn't have access or money to a good lawyer doesn't mean he should be treated with disrespect. A girl of 14yrs WILLINGLY eloped with her lover from bayelsa to kano, and all of a sudden everybody is calling for yunusa's head.

It is today in Nigeria that girls of different ages elope with random men to whatever destination? I urge kano elites to get a very good lawyer for yunusa who will battle it out in court with ese's lawyer, her parents and the government of bayelsa state. Ese's parents especially the mother are very wayward. They failed to train their daughter and instead they are looking for young yunusa to blame for their failure. Anybody that heard the narrative of ese's mother will definitely know the woman is hiding the true picture of her daughter's story.

I just saw Audu bukarti's( i happen to know the good man personally) name as one of yunusa's representative in court. Fortunately the man is highly intelligent and I trust what he can do. After all is said and done, I will urge bukarti to file a defamatory case against ese's parents because they have already defamed yunusa's character.
your write up makes a lot of sense sir.most 14yr olds, especially females are often looking forward to the day a guy will ask them out.therefore, chances are ese eloped with yunusa.but sir,for a 25 yr old man not to know that he shouldnt travel with a 14yr girl(minor as by the law) without due consent from her parents is enough to send him behind bars, talkmore of impregnanting her.i wish they were both minors.in otherwords, your friend yunusa is not a law abiding citizen of this great nation.
