Ladies, sexual abuse left to continue overtime can backfire when you do decide to report it. Phumelele said she lost in the courts on technicalities, I am betting this technicality had something to do with how long it took her to report it. The lawyers may have made it look like she was enabling the abuser and consenting to his behavior.
Always report sexual abuse immediately. This is really bad of NestleSA |

cococandy: You’re the one making that assumption.
But anything to digress . I get it Maybe sometime at the end of your run about on this thread, we will come to understand how your carrying placards for feminists in Johannesburg (or wherever) gives you the standing to redefine social issues and separate them from cultural issues. While you’re at it, redefine social studies as well. I am not redefining anything, just thought to share the works by other people whose qualifications and judgments are known & trusted far more than yours on the subject. And Sacramento is not in jo'burg cococandy. |

cococandy: I’m not interested in sharing that research with you. Anything substantial you have can be posted on here. And I don’t know how you arrived at your need to share anything with my “organization” from that simple post I corrected you about. Talk about deflection. Please move on already like I said before. Sigh How have you ever made any progress in fighting gender inequality if all you have been doing is posting things on the internet instead of doing the leg work? |
Family › Re: What Is MGTOW? Meet The ‘Men Going Their Own Way’ by missjo(f): 9:57pm On Sep 18, 2019 |
cococandy: So because I schooled you on how social issues are cultural issues (something a secondary school student would know), you want to do what again?
Find out what state feminist chapter I belong to or if I’m registered with them and what what? You’re not a serious somebody.
If you had any argument AT ALL IN beginning of this thread, you’ve since lost it. At this point, no one even knows what you’re talking about. Just move on. I do not know how u schooled me or if you are even qualified to school me on any subject. I only know that i offered to share with your organization (if u had been registered with one, which you obviously are not) a research by the CWGL on the topic. It is not sent to individuals, but organizations interested in working on gender inequality in sub-Saharan Africa. I honestly do not understand what u think you know about this that is going to discredit a reseesrch work put together by women in academics over the space of some years. Then telling me i am not a serious person, lol The joke among most of you here writes itself. |

Personally, i see this as a self-esteem issue. I do not want my daughter believing she is prettier when she is on makeup than when she isn't. So no make up on her face until she understands this, which will probably be when she is in college. |

missjo: Cococandy, we must not drag this further. I can see from your profile that you are based in the US and going by your antecedents, you also identify as a feminist. This subject is something we have dealt with as a group and your line of arguments have been brought to the fore countless times so i understand you. As a feminist,do you belong to any active women organizations in your city? I am asking because i can get some of my colleagues at the center for global women's leadership out of Rutger's to contact the state chapter (of a women's advancement organization which i am hoping you will be registered with as an active feminist) and furnish them with the research on how tackling cultural foundations as a first step, provides a speedy solution to gender inequality in sub-saharan Africa. What you call social aspects are just consequences which a social intervention will only placate but not eliminate completely.
If you are up for it,of course. Cococandy |

baby124: I have lived in the west. I have clubbed in the West. The people who will go home with you straight from club are 90% not emotionally or mentally stable. How can you even be comfortable bringing an absolute stranger into your home and sleeping by them all night if something is not wrong with you? What eye find Na him see. This is textbook victim blaming,an antithesis to everything you are supposed to stand for. Say a lady, managing partner at a law firm, decides to get naughty & have a one-night stand. She goes to a club and takes a stranger home for this after they agree to get down. Sometime later she gets back to her senses since according to you she was not mentally stable for bringing a stranger home, yet the stranger still forces her, would you blame her or the stranger for this? And if u will not blame her anymore, why? Can mental instability be cured within hours? You do not have to try shutting me up if you cant answer this please as i have noticed is common here. |

LordAdam16: Maryam Mirzakhani
-Lord Thanks a bunch. Found out she's dead from cancer, too bad. Still rummaging through the videos I could find. This was an interesting read for me tho, very interesting. https://www-history.mcs.st-andrews.ac.uk/Biographies/Mirzakhani.htmlFrom her supportive dad, to her principal who gave her the chance to be the first girl ever in the Iranian mathematical Olympiad team, to how the Iranian media broke taboo after her death to put up her pictures without a hijab on, to parliament moving the motion to amend the law because of her daughter and begin giving Iranian nationality to people with Iranian Mothers married to foreigners.etc Gosh there are so many unsung heroes, and to think I am just knowing this about a woman in a country like Iran. |
Family › Re: What Is MGTOW? Meet The ‘Men Going Their Own Way’ by missjo(f): 2:16pm On Sep 18, 2019 |
LordAdam16: Yes. Saudi Arabia is peaceful. The UAE is peaceful. And Qatar is peaceful.
The world is diverse and complex.
If you don't know that, maybe you should pick up an Atlas rather than espouse ignorance so willfully.
The only female to have ever won the Fields Medal--the most prestigious award in Mathematics--is an Iranian.
She schooled from elementary to undergraduate years in Iran. Won awards and competitions against both genders in Iran. That's a country where women are banned from entering stadiums. Yet, in the same country, 49.8 percent of university students are female.
No Qatari citizen is poor, male or female. Iran is more industrialized than Nigeria even though you have the ability to come on a public forum and type uneducated BS.
So maybe you need to adjust that pink-tinted glasses of yours and stop seeing men as the reason for your underachievement in life!
-Lord This is interesting. Do you have her name? would like to read or watch an excerpt on her experiences. |

cococandy: Probably the same person who didn’t teach you that social aspects of any community includes but is not limited to their culture, language, food, religion, traditions and even ways of dressing. Basic social studies but what do I know?
You could pick religion as a cause of inequalities in one of the mentioned societies above. I don’t disagree that different causes may call for different approach. It doesn’t make it any less a social issue as long as it’s affecting human beings.
If it involves one human relating to another in any form, then it’s a social issue despite the branch that it falls under Cococandy, we must not drag this further.
