I would suggest you ask your brother if you can join him in Lagos rather than go back home. There are better opportunities there and it will help you be closer to him.

You can also ask your mom to suggest this to your brother. I think that's a better option for you.

If you also have friends in town in Ibadan or Lagos who you can share with that's another option since your mom thinks staying at home isn't safe.

I honestly agree with your suggestion on this. And paradventure he stays with the bro in Lagos, he can learn a skill pending when Nysc calls.

Good afternoon everyone, I use infinix hot 5. Due to carelessness on my part, oil entered it but it's working normally. I took it to phone repairers here and I was told I have to change the screen which will cost me 10,000. I took it to Carl care and I was told I have to change the touch pad and charging point that it has affected it and it will cost me 12,000 and meanwhile the charging port and touch pad is working. Any engineer who can help me out here, I reside in ilorin.

OP, have been following this thread and it's really educative. Pertaining to the salary range you made mention of. I went for an interview last week in Lagos and I was asked my salary expectations for the position, I told the panel I would like to be paid according to the salary structure of the company for that position because I don't know how much they pay. But the panel insist I tell them the amount I would like to be paid, I told them 120k. They asked how much I was earning in my current work place and I told them I was being paid according to the company's salary scale and they insisted to know the amount of which I told them. I sent a mail to the mail invite thanking the HR and his panel team but I haven't heard anything from them yet. What should I do?

NB:I got talking with one of the Ex-staff of the company and I was told the salary structure for the position is less 80,000 then. I got to know this after have had the interview with them.

I will never forget 2008 after 2 years of graduation without Job, I was shortlisted for an interview in a company via my friend in Ikeja (I have never been to the company before o) I put on my suit and a well polished black shoe to match my gorgeous dressing cos I applied as an Accountant.

When I step out of my house I discovered that everywhere is silent and no movement of yellow buses so I meet some stranded passengers in the bus stop and they told me Saka Saula(NURTW chairman) was assassinated this early morning ,so no commercial vehicle will work except I get private car.

5mins after a danfo arrived and pick us in the bus stop but the tfare is triple, that wasn't my problem anyways cos I have to be in my interview centre bfre 10am and it's 8:30am already in Agege. We already approached Otubu close to Guiness when these touts attack our Danfo they beat everybody esp the driver and conductor for refusing to give respect to the dead, I was using Nokia 23100 then before count of 2 the phone has been removed from my pocket and the only address to where I was going for interview is inside and I didn't have my friend phone number offhand.

The guy that remove it passed it to another guy and that one run away but I hold and drag the guy that remove it and I start crying the idiot still snatch the envelope that contain my credentials.... I really suffer.

I was dragging him till one guy call us and I explained everything to him, the guy is their boss. He pacified me and asked me to call my phone number by 7pm, I was like you dey craz? 10am is my interview and the address is in that phone, bro pls tiyin o ni baje!!! I have been searching for job since 2006 'esanu mi' The guy said he cannot get the guy that took the phone away now until evening.... I have no choice than to go back home with sorrow. I called at exactly 7pm and they asked me to come and collect my phone.

I got the phone back but I lost the job which cost me another 14months home before I finally got a job

I experienced same thing too yesterday. After filling out the application form and click on submit , it will take me back to the application page again which requires me filling again. I was able to submit it in the midnight using my tab and I was sent a mail that my application has been received. Try it in the midnight and ensure that you fill in the expertise colume and skills required colume before submitting because that's where I had problems with.
