thesicilian:Very right bro.. It is just a pitiful situation |
thesicilian:In the first Paragraph, I listed poor administration and politicking as one of the major problems.. They have always been the problem, but I chose to discuss the most important issue of the moment, which is whether to go foreign or stay local. |
PoliticalThuG:Bro, it is the situation on the ground.. Why should we shy away from reality? |
Because they r comfortable spending their money as they deem fit.. Na ur money? |
safarigirl:Simple and Tactful.. Thumbs up sis |
Reno is obviously very right.. PMB needs to do the needful as regards The Agatu case, and Adesina needs to show more remorse in his bashings |
Super Eagles Failure to qualify for the 2017 AFCON Tournament after their recent loss to The Pharoahs of Egypt, leaves a Sour Taste In the Already Bittered Mouth of Soccer Lovers within the Country. It is jading, going by the fact that it would make the 2nd consecutive times that the Nation will be absent from the Continental Showpiece, we won the last time we featured. It is a perfect analogy of how bad our reputation in the Soccer World has degenerated for some years now. We have suffered from bad administration, Poor handling, mediocre players and coaches, and shady politics. Moving Forward, a lot of suggestions have been made by Reputable Soccer Analysts and impassioned Nigerian Fans . The Most Controversial of these suggestions, is the issue of "Hiring A Foreigner to Coach The Team, or Sticking With Our Local Coaches". As Contentious as this issue seems, the Nation has a very limited time to make a Crucial Decision, as the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers Impend. For Many that have argued against the idea of hiring a foreign coach, the argument have always circled around two points, viz : - the huge expenses that comes with hiring a foreigner as A coach - the inferiority of A Foreign Coach To A Local Coach, when it comes to Having Intrinsic Knowledge About Nigerian Soccer. The two ratiocinations in all ramifications are valid and rational, but not well founded, going by the realities on ground. Majorly, it is a fundamental reality that majority of our local coaches are Substandard, with a very few being some steps below International Quality. The problem being that most of Our local Coaches, arent well exposed and Updated To New Coaching Skills and Techniques, like majority of the international coaches in The world. The other few numbers below International Quality, strive to get FIFA, CAF OR UEFA Licensing and stop there. These few have largely been tested, and the results were obviously below par. Super Eagles is the National symbol of over 150 million people. Coaching such a side, comes along with huge Expectations, which only a top, well exposed and updated, and reputable coach can deliver. For now, No known Local Coach Fits In. Who To Blame these things on, is an Issue For Another day. On the Issue of the Huge Costs that accompany hiring A Foreign Coach, that shouldn't really be a problem, considering the fact that less economic vibrant African Countries to ours, have been able to hire and financially manage foreign coaches successfully, with the support of Private Partners of their National Sides. The NFF President has also come out to ascertain this sentiment, with his recent declaration, that the renumeration and funding of the Foreign Coach will be Handled by the National Team's private Partners. As long as NFF can secure Viable Partnerships for The Super Eagles, that shouldn't pose a threat. Finally, on the issue of a foreigner lacking the Intrinsic Knowledge about Nigeria, that a local Coach possesses, I think it is a no-brainer to believe that whatsoever coach would be hired, will accommodate two or more Nigerians in his Technical Squad, that would assist him in familiarizing with the Nigerian Soccer Domain and Its politics, which could post a threat to him initially. In fact, any Top Coach passionate to perform, will have no issue in going through the complexities that accompany working in a Foreign country. The English Premier League, with all its local backings, and international reputations, top teams in recent years are mostly coached by foreigners, and these Foreigners have had to adapt to a different culture, Environment, Soccer Politics, terms and conditions in order to succeed. With the Likes of Claude Le Roy, Herve Renard, Paul Le Guen, who have proven to have enough grasp of African Football, with their exploits with different African Teams, being said to be enlisted, and seemingly bursting to get the chance to secure the Super Eagles' top shot, we As Passionate Football fans, can be rest assured that all things being equal, and with the right selection process, hiring a foreigner will be worthwhile in the long run. With recent happenings pointing towards a disunified Nigeria, Let's Hope The Super Eagles can Unify Us As One Nigeria, once Again. God Bless Our Country! I Hate Classicos being played immediately after International Breaks.. Most times the players aren't well refreshed for the Intensity of A Classico.. Nevertheless, it is a Classico, nd trust the two teams to play their hearts out.. Real will obviously be coming all out for a revenge, after the first leg bashing, but as a Barça fan, I m damn optimistic, they do not have a winning chance.. Between, expect Messi to to net his 500th goal tonight #viscabarca |
Mrs Chaiii! |
As much as I hate to say this, I think it is time the govt legalizes Prostitution, nd then create a new act in our customary laws, that ensures that any person found guilty of raping are Castrated! |
If he is indeed A Bishop, his Bishophood needs to be scrutinized. |
