Different strokes for different folks.

Got a job of 60k in Lagos in 2011. My first week was enough.

I resigned almost immediately and returned back to Abuja.

It seemed like rapture was always taking place. Everyone always in a hurry.

Less friendly bus drivers and conductors. Every passerby were treated as suspects.

On the other hand, a friend of mine whom the company he's working for rented an 800k apartment for him in Wuse II Abuja. Dude worked his transfer back to Lagos and went to rent a house in Oshodi. Damn!

He said, he liked Lagos life better.

If I don't have enough money to stay on the Island, I better remain in my state capital. Shioor!

Its indeed shameful, this was exactly the same thing on my mind. The fact that in 2018, we still aren't proactive enough in quite a number of basic areas for citizen protection baffles me. If things had gotten more serious than this, Nigeria would have been caught unprepared.

Of course we were caught unprepared.

For the government to wait a whole 51 hours to react and caution citizens about the said incidence is really worrisome.
