Thanks 4 d contribution. Well, I do realise somehow that. However, it is who allege that proves. One, I never had query. So I think it is up to them to prove that I am not capable. Since I am not redundant, I am WORKING where I am, how do they want to convince the court (assuming I decide to go to court) that there is no vacancy? I am working because there is vacancy. Are they right in putting a clause (writing an exam) which was not part of the agreement?

I am not in anyway questioning your capability, but just the thought of an 'unlearned' gentleman. In your opinion, what is the possibility of winning the case? Since I 'satisfied' all the conditions, am I not supposed to have started working (in the eyes of the court) since July 07? What is the possibility of asking the court to order the employer to start paying what I ought to have been paid since July 07. Thanks very much 4 your contribution.

Kwara State runs what is commonly referred to as VTS. Here, we are given a token sum of money (slavery in another form) for our services. When we started, we are made to sign an agrrement. See below for the agreement we signed with the state government.

It is my pleasure to inform you that sequel to your recent interview with the Kwara State Teaching Service, you are hereby offered a placement on the Voluntary Teaching Service Scheme of Kwara State on a fixed allowance of =N= 7,000.00 per month, with effect from July, 2005. An additional sum of =N= 2,000.00 flat rate will be paid to each volunteer posted to rural areas of the state.

2. The duration of your assignment is two years commencing from July,  2005 to June, 2007
3. Your placement will take effect from the date you report for duty at your duty post and would be subject to the following conditions:
(a) that you have not in any way supplied false information to the Commission to secure the placement;
(b) that you produce a medical certificate of fitness issued by a Government Medical Officer;
(c) that you submit a letter of acceptance of this offer to the Chairman, the Kwara State Teaching Service, Ilorin;
(d) that the offer of placement will lapse if you do not submit a letter of appointment, 2 weeks after the date of this letter;
(e) that you produce a photocopy of your birth certificate or a declaration of age certificate in lieu of the former
(f) that you give a month’s notice of resignation if you wish to terminate your appointment with the Commission (the Commission will do the same if it no longer requires your services) or pay you a month’s salary in lieu of notice. However a serious misconduct on your part may lead to your dismissal without notice.
(g) that if you are discovered to be a regular student of any tertiary institution during the period of the scheme, your appointment may be terminated without notice.
(h) that your satisfactory service and conduct would, subject to vacancy, get you permanently absorbed into the State’s Public Service

By the Term of Service (TOS), we are supposed to be given ‘full’ employment by the state government after y years. All our entreaties to be absolved fell on deaf ears. Sometimes ago, we were asked to come and write exams so as to be absolved. Though this is not part of the agreement, we went to write the exam. Up till this moment nothing concrete came out of it.

Now the state’s House of Assembly had waded in.  We don’t know what will be the outcome of it. If it is not satisfactory, we intend going the whole hog by suing the state government based on the agreement we had with it. My questions now are:

1. Does the state have the right to ask us to write exam before being absorbed since this was not part of the initial agreement

2. Admittedly some of us did not produce medical certificate of fitness, will this have legal impediment if we go to court

3. Can the sate hide under the last clause (h), that is, subject to vacancy clause to deny us of it? Can the state rightly claim that there is no vacancy right now. All of us are working real hard. Can we fight the fact that since we are all working now, there is vacancy. I mean none of us is redundant. Will the onus lie on me (us) to prove that vacancy exists? Note: After we started the service, the state carried out some employment. However, this was before the June 2007 when the state is obliged to employ us (based on the agreement we had with it). Right now, we have embarked on sit-down strike to press home our demands.
Career / Is Your Bank Customer-friendly? by MisterMan(m): 11:35am On Jan 03, 2008
There is this thread that talks about banks that are staff-friendly. Since I am not a banker, I am not able to contribute in that department. Since I am a customer, let me air my own view. Some ppple have singled out UBA. I used to get enamoured with STB/UBA until I tried to open an account with them. My woes started with account opening. For account referees, I used somebody in Bank PHP, they took it to Skye bank. Do you understand what I said? My referee has an account with Bank PHP, which of course, I filled. Is there any similarity between Bank PHP and Skye? After ages, they returned the form that the account does not exist (of course it will not). After I pointed out their stupid mistake to them, they now rectified it. There was a form I had to fill, I was sent from one branch to another. It took me days but at the end of the day, it was not available anywhere. This is in Kano. Here I had to go from Bello road branch, to Post Office Road and to their main branch opposite Board of Internal Revenue. At the end of the day, I had to give up. What does UBA stand for? Useless Bank for Africa.

Overall, I've had nice time with Intercontinental. I've had good response with the staff. I've found them to be very coutous and nice. Though I've some problem with my MasterCard which I am still trying to sort with them. On that note, they are below expectation. You mail them, at times they won't reply. I would have sworn that they are the best except the people at IDS. Generally, their staff are VERY Customer-Friendly, Courtious. In fact then I used to think that Staff of Intercontinental are not from this Nigeria. Most bankers are full of themselves. Not the Intercontinental pple. Those at Bello branch are wonderful. There was this Mrs. Olaofe. Wonderful lady. I think she has been moved to Kantin Kori branch. All those people at that branch, starting from the Manager. Superb bankers. You can't go wrong with them, but those at the Mastercard in Lagos, I think the MD has to do something to make them wake up.

I have noticed something. A lot of people have been crooning about GTB. I think the next time I want to open an account, I will look in that direction, hopefully though I am able to sort thing out with Intercontinental Bank. Tell us about your own experience.
Religion / Re: When Did Jesus Go To Heaven? by MisterMan(m): 3:48pm On Dec 26, 2007
ajadrage:

Jesus ascended to sit at the right hand of Jehovah the almighty God about 2007 years ago, but mind you there has been some discrepancy in the calendar arrangement as was made both by Augustus while he was caesar over Rome and Pope Gregory, the founder of the gregorian calendar which is in use today.

While the dates of the gregorian calendar is demarcated with the acronymns BC and AD (before the death and after the death of Christ), Thus, if one should begin to count the years from the death, we would arrive at 2007 years precisely on the day.

I disagree with that. We would not arrive precisely on that day. One, because of the discrepancies in both the two calendars. Pope Gregory removed 11 days from the days so as to correct the Julian calendar. This happened in 1752 Sept. 3rd became Sept. 14th. So in history, we don't have Sept 3, 4, , 13. I don't really know if that is the real question posted by the author. From my own initial idea, I thought he was merely asking how many days did it take him to go to heaven. Let me quote him

biife:

three days after his death jesus was resurrected.

please, when did he return to heaven? on that day?

Take a look at my first answer
MisterMan:

That day. According to the bible, he told Mary Margadelene (I think) not to touch him that he has not ascended to heaven yet but to go and tell others that he has resurected. I can see a not too good reason for this question. Open up and tell us why the question.

I think the poster meant was it that day, two days later or 15 days later. That question aside, we cannot say exactly (how many years ago) when he resurrected. One, his date of birth was wrongly calculated. Our mordern calendar was supposed to start with his birth (he was supposed to be born on '1BC', but it was later discovered that there was an error, and therefore it is put at 4BC.

Let me quote you here:
Jesus did not ascend immediately after his resurrection as he was reported to have spent some time amongst mankind before ascending. John's account of the gospel recorded in chapter 20:26 about eight day's after his resurrection that he appeared to his followers where Thomas earned the name "doubting"

No, Jesus did ascend immediately to go and meet God. He did not allow Mary Margalene to touch him. Later, He asked Thomas to touch him. So my own submission is that after the resurection, he went to heaven (may be to go and give God his report), and then he came back to earth to appear to others.

He did not go back to heaven 8 days after. There is no way we can really know that. After the eighth day, he appeared to John, Peter, Thomas and one other person when the disciples went to go afishing. That was the last day he appeared to them.

So for me, immediately he rose he went to heaven on that particular day and then he came back and started appearing to the disciples. We know that he spent at least 8 days before he finnaly went back to heaven

sorry I wanted to write 2007 years ago. some of this translation are from greek, aramaic and latin so you just don't read literal meanings to them. When Jesus ascended should not be a problem but ask yourself where you will be going to hereafter.

C'mon ekorick, where is your sense of humour? I felt you should have known that I was pulling your leg. I knew what you were saying. It is very clear that you made a simple mistake. Even a 4-year old mentally retarded boy would have known. Didn't you notice the icon I put at the end?

ekorick:

2007 AD. He told the thief today you shall meet me in paradise.

Are u saying that Jesus only resurrected this year?  cheesy

You guys raised some interesting points. This is in reference to Luke 23:43. Here bible scholars gave two different interpretations. The first and the commonest iinterpretationis that you will meet me in paradise today. That 'today' is in reference to a particular date.

The other interpretation is that Jesus was simply making emphasis. It can get really confusing, but I will try and explain. If I say "Na me dey tell you". What does this mean? It does not mean that It is me and not KoboJunkie or bab78 or biife that is talking. It is my way of emphasising that I am telling the truth.

So let's get back to our current topic. Today you shall be with me in paradise can either mean This particular day(the first interpretation), and not tommorrow you will meet me in paradise. It can also mean mark my word, you will  meet me in paradise.

But then can Jesus seriously be telling him (the theif)  that He would meet him in paradise when he knew he would not be going to paradise. Now we know that Jesus knew he would be dead for three days. He said so himself several times. Now take a look at Acts 2:31 - 32

2:31 He seeing this before spoke of the reresurrection ofhrist, that his soul was not left in Hades, neither his flesh did see corruption.
2:32 This Jesus God raised up, of which we are all witnesses

If we assumed that God raised him that day, then it means God's word 'has fallen down and came back to him' which we know can NEVER be possible. God respects his word even more than his name (and you know that God does not joke with his name). If God raised him on that day, then we are saying that God is a liar.

If Jesus was raised on that day, then what is the point of telling Mary not to touch him yet that he had not 'aascendedo God when he has just come back from him? The simple truth is that he was not in paradise before then. It was after he had accended to heaven and came back that he allowed them to touch him.

Here is my own submission. Lk 23:43 was emphasis and not that he would meet him that day in heaven. According to prophesy, he was dead and was in hades and not in heaven or paradise.

Religion / Islam And Peace by MisterMan(m): 6:08pm On Dec 15, 2007
A lot of people (xtians) want us to believe that Islam is a religion that does not go along with peace. Do you know the holy prophet's last message. Take a look at this site: http://www.iica.org/?q=node/41.

Note this (please do not be bias):  Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that he will indeed reckon your deeds. That is a religion of peace. He also said: You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity

What about equality: All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. The Holy Prophet said that. Islam is a good religion jare

Pamperme:

Those people still live in the Dark Ages. They are just barbaric.  I av some muslim friends here in Lagos and my best friend in school was a muslim but they don't behave like the northern muslims.

What makes the difference? Education. The same Koran that our southern Muslims read is the same Koran those there read. The difference is education. That is it.  If you see some of the atrocities those young brutes commit. You will be surprised. But then education is what they lack, and at the same time, they are 'mis-educated' when they are brain washed that the more they kill the better Muslims they are. Kano is labelled as Center of Commerce. Most of the commerce actually go on in Sabon-gari, Kano. That is where you can buy tyres, get electricians etc. Electronics market is in the hands of the Igbos. Kano is known for thriving textile market. Here the Lebanese are the undisputed leaders. The Hausas are there to sell fuels in jerry cans, and smoke hemp. Of course in this situation they will be willing hands to cause mayhelm. The problem is NOT the religion. It has more to do with culture.

Talking about Dan Fodio's jihad (incidentally today is his birthday; was born on Sunday, 15 December, 1754), It is not as you feel. One again, Islam is a beautiful religion. Peace
Politics / Re: Religious Riot In Bauchi Over Demolished Mosque by MisterMan(m): 4:42pm On Dec 14, 2007
I feel so saddened by this senseless killings. My people, it is however not right to blame Islam for this. You may not know, or you may choose to ignore, Islam is a religion of peace. To me the solution lies in EDUCATION. The people up north need to get real education. Believe me, u will never get an educated northern Muslim to go on rampage.

Let me use one or two incidents to illustrate what I am talking about. I lived in Kano for some time. One day, I went to meet a friend of mine in his office. I can't remember what I held but when I entered I put what I held on the his Koran I saw. He did NOT say anything. He did NOT fight with me. He went there and removed the object. This guy is from Kano and a Muslim. Another time I went into inside city with another Hausa friend of mine. Those that know Kano will know what I am talking about. Thank God that I have already left the hot spots. Perhaps if I had stayed 5 minutes later than I left, I would have been caught. This gut started praying on my behalf. What am I saying? This guy would have protected me. He is a very good Muslim. The difference is that they are educated. Education is the answer. Read the glorious Koran. Pple are so misguided about it. Nowhere did it sanction wanton destruction. Let me relate another one. I was not there but the person who told me was there: It was during a riot. A man was caught (he was a Muslim). He said he was a Muslim. He was asked a question (may be to recite a portion or whatever). The man with knife (ready to slaughter) asked another rioter if what the man said was right (u know it would be in Arabic). The man said it was OK. Tell me, if the guy were to have true knowledge of Koran, he would not even contemplate slaughtering a fellow being.

Do you know the system of Almajir is the North. Those small kids are being indoctrinated by uneducated imams.  The imams know next to nothing about Koran. If you see the way they learn and live. They live like beasts. Why won't they behave like criminals when their imams whip them like hell and they appear so dirty and unfed. Most of you that are talking out of ignorance, if you happened to live like them you will behave like them. Imagine you are hungry, whipped like mad by uneducated imams, sleep outside in the cold and being indoctrinated that if you kill in the name of Islam, you will go to heaven, you will do EXACTLY like those small brutes. Please let's leave sentiments out of this. It is not the fault of Islam if their young adherents are being indoctrinated.
Have you ever wondered why our southern Muslims don't behave like that? It is because they have education. They don't sleep in the open and go hungry from morning till night. That is the value of education
Though most of you don't have access to Koran. Koran forbids Muslims killing Xtians. Yes, it is the Koran. There are so many things that Some Muslim do that Koran is against. Because some Muslims do it does not detract from the fact the Islam is a religion of peace. Go to Abardie in Kano and see what the so called 'Muslims" do. Those ones do not represent the true Muslims. Even where Muslims wage war against unbeleivers, there are conducts to follow. We choose to follow misguided or wrong views of Islam. I hope I will be able to get last message of the Holy Prophet and post it here. I will leave you to determine if Islam is a religion of peace or not.
Peace

Yes you are wrong. BASIC is for beginners, and there is nothing wrong in learning how to write simple procedural programs with it. Afterall an infant learns how to walk before he starts running.

He (IBEXY) is righjt and you are wrong. No I don't even agree with u that BASIC is for beginners (it used to), but QBasic is dead and forgotten. QBASIC has little or nothing in common with VB or VB.NET. Because u learnt BASIC with QB does not mean that is the right thing to do or perhaps you learnt it a long time ago. Most of us old timers learnt QB. Now tell me what single resemblance has QB with VB (except in name). Absolutely nothing. Lines nos are gone. If you learn QB, you will have to learn all over again. You not only learn commands but the real concepts. Now these are some of the things you will have to learn all over again (there are so many, but these are the things that came off my head right now):

1 New IDE
2 Completely different concept
3 OOP
4 ActiveX
5 Inability to use DAO, RDO or ADO

IF you go to NDA, will you be thought how to use bows and arrows and dane guns because those are what were used in those days. Look, 8 years in computer world is like a thousand years in the real world. Have you ever interacted with our so called lecturers? Very many will have problems doing or writing a most trivial program.

Please ask those who know. Pple will laugh at you saying you want to learn QB at this age! Do not waste your time. I challenge anybody to tell me what knowledge gained in QBASIC that will be useful in VB. Don't even waste your time with VB. Go straight to .NET

I can go on and on. QB encourages spagetti code. How about On Error. Man, forget it

Sorry I have been away for some time. I did not realise that pple have been responding. A big thank you to Backslider for that piece of text. That certainly gives more insight into the argument. To be honest, I did not know that the text exists. A lot of pple have been quoting the bible passage that a man shall leave his mother and mother and shall cleave unto his wife and (they will say not wives) the two shall become one flesh. Sure, but we have to read this in context of marriage. I don't mean to be vulgar here, another meaning that you can adduce here is that of sex. Why don't you look at it from this view: A man will leave his father and mother, rent his own house and start making love to his wife. This means that he should not put his wive under the influence (unneccessarily) of the wife's in-laws. Some mothers-in-law could be terrible. In order to guard against that, it is better to have his own flat. It also means that there should not be group sex. It could be between the wife and the first wife today and the man and another wife the next day. No 'blue film" I may be wrong here since there is no biblical text to back it up, just my stupid thought, but I feel that we should look at things in context. To me the phrase: the two shall become one, does not mean that they will have one head, two arms etc.

Pple love to say that God created them male and female. Here, we don't have armaphrodite (at least that is not God's purpose). Here, I don't mean to de-mean our female folks, from the account of creation (NOT MY VIEW), women are supposed to be afterthought. It was only when God observed that Adam was lonely that He created women. If Adam was not lonely, would God have created female? No (Not according to bible text)

Let me quote Lafile: If you want to know Gods mind on this look to the very beginning of creation. In the begining he made them one male and one female. He said a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife (not wives). One man and one woman become one flesh. In this union, there is no space for another ,

The account above is very simple: God created them male and female. Sure. God does not want an armaphrodite. Simple. Cleaving together in this case means something in the realm of love making. Sarah would not be there when 'something' is happening between Abraham and the slave girl, yet she knew what was going on. This is the case generally.
What about David and his wives? Solomon and his 1000 wives/girlfriends will have it one at a time. Peace.

Who really discovered River Niger? We were taught while we were in primary school that Mungo Park 'discovered' River Niger. But is that really true? When you say somebody 'discover' something, he brought it to the knowledge of people and those people did not know the existence of that thing. It is like somebody telling me that the stream where my mother and grandmother fetched was 'discovered' yesterday by somebody resident in another village about 500 kilometers away. So those people in New Bussa, Lokoja, Jebba who fetched, cooked and washed from the river did not know that the river exists before Mungo Park came. What do you think?.
Religion / Re: WHO IS GOD? by MisterMan(m): 4:54pm On Sep 20, 2007
In this sense God allowed the Heart of Pharaoh to be HARDENED because it was already hard.
This is your opinion (which could be right or wrong). Tell me in the bible where it was stated that his heart was already hard. I never read it anywhere in the bible that his heart was hard, but it was repeated countless time that God hardened his heart.

No that is not what God thought. The practice of Helping the other gods as Baal and Ashteroth on their feet was not the way to help The God of heaven that created you.

God Does not need your reverence if it diminishes his glory.

No that is not what God thought: You were not God, how do you what was on his mind? Let us limit ourself to what happened in the bible and not what you think God thought.

The last time there was bird flu in Nigeria, what happened? ALL the birds were killed and the people concerned were compensated. What would Our 'infinitely benevolent, beneficent, true and holy' God have asked his people to do? Dress it well and export them to Niger Republic, Ghana etc and sell them to those people. What would be your reaction if flu-infected birds are exported here from Britain and one of your people bought it and died? Talk true jare.

Dont know where that one concern God.

Look at this: "Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself; thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it, or thou mayest sell it unto an alien." (Deut. 14:21).

Do you now know where it concerns God. An animal that died by itself has some disesea. Consider the case of bird Flu. If it were in old biblical times, the Isrealites would have been expected to sell it to their neigbours.

It is only a 'just' God that will visit the sins of father on the children even up to the tenth generation. Do you know what happened to Ackan and ALL his family? Please read Jos. 7, especially 24-26.

Ackan's family knew he stole it and they Hid the Sin. The bible says they shall not prosper. You can not Judge God.  Where is that written in the bible? You have to differentiate between what you thought and was is in the bible. Nobody care conclusively state that his family members knew about it. Since it was not stated, it is only reasonable to assume that they were not in the know. We assume somebody to be innocent until proved otherwise.

The destruction was Ordered by God because He was Fed up of sin.
Do you realise that he did not even send a single prophet to them? To them, they don't know of any God, except the ones they are used to. If they have been preached to, If God had appeared to their fore-fathers as He did to Istreal's fore-fathers, they would have served him well

They have birth pains because after Adam and Eve ate the apple and threw away the core, the animals ate and pecked at the remnants! grin grin grin

Programming / Windows Update Updates Without End Users' Consent by MisterMan(m): 3:08pm On Sep 14, 2007
This is really not a programming topic (this is the best forum I can think of anyway), but I think it will interest you developers out there. Microsoft updates YOUR system without obtaining your permission angry. What do you think of the developement. Here is a link where you can read more of it.

Babygirl, Here is what u said: The words says that Eve (Eve represents women be it animal/ human/ plants or whatever) is cursed. If we extend this logic further, then the male animals should be tilling before they eat also. I don't agree jare.

Hey Enitan, I love your answer only u were a bit rude about it.

Mellow, have u ever seen a goat give birth? She doesn't have to complain to anybody before you know. The cry of anguish alone tells the story.

Benchmark, the answer is not that simple and logical. Now, let's consider this: Would there have been birth pains if they have not sinned. NO. Not according to the context of what happens. Birth pain is supposed to be a kind of punishment. So, if the punishment was not there, the consequence (the pains) would not be there.
Religion / Re: Is Mercy Killing Ok? by MisterMan(m): 1:15pm On Sep 14, 2007
I do with my whole heart. This is mercy killing for God's sake. A man that is brain dead cannot come back to life. I feel the pain should be minimised.
Religion / Re: WHO IS GOD? by MisterMan(m): 1:09pm On Sep 14, 2007
To OLAADEGBU: infinitely benevolent? He is INFINITELY MALEVOLENT. Can a benevolent God harden somebody's (his creation's) heart so that he can 'useless' glory? Pls take time and read the following: Ex 4:21, 7:3&4, 13&14,912, 10:1,20, 27, 11:1,10, 14:4,18.

Can u recall when the ark was being taken somewhere. The bull or the whatever animals that were carrying the ark. One of the animals was about to fall. Somebody, out of concern grabbed the ark so that it won't fall. What happened? THE ANGER OF THE LORD GOD WAS KINDLED AGAINST HIM. The guy did it out of reference. Was that anger not misplaced. Put yourself in that man's position joo.

Let's say you were at home with your parents. Somehow the TV stand slipped and you ran there so that the thing will not  kaput. What did your dad do? He ANGER WAS KINDLED against you and he started beating you mercilessly. What will be in your mind?

The last time there was bird flu in Nigeria, what happened? ALL the birds were killed and the people concerned were compensated. What would Our 'infinitely benevolent, beneficent, true and holy' God have asked his people to do? Dress it well and export them to Niger Republic, Ghana etc and sell them to those people. What would be your reaction if flu-infected birds are exported here from Britain and one of your people bought it and died? Talk true jare.

It is only a 'just' God that will visit the sins of father on the children even up to the tenth generation. Do you know what happened to Ackan and ALL his family? Pls read Jos. 7, especially 24-26.

This is 1Sam 15:3 Now go and smite Amalek, and UTTERLY DESTROY ALL HAVE, AND SPARE THEM NOT; BUT SLAY BOTH MAN AND WOMAN, INFANT AND SUCKLING, OX AND SHEEP, CAMEL AND ASS. Charles Taylor and the Butcher of Belgrade did not do 1/100th of that and they faced International Tribunal. Haba. What will a mere infant and suckling do to deserve that treatment. Even prisoners of war are not treated in that way. 'infinitely perfect ' indeed. Saul was punished for being kind, for saving a fellow human being.

Do you know that God has evil spirit? 1Sam 16:14 says But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, an evil spirit from God troubled him.

Is God really reasonable in his judgment? I don't think so. Look at Samuel and Saul. There was war between Istreal and the Philistine. There were 30,000  chariots and 6,000 horsemen and the infantry (as the sand which is on the sea shore for multitude) as the bible puts it. When the men of Isteal saw this, they were frightened and most of them ran away. Saul was the king and Commander-in-Chief. So the lot fell on him. You know, in that kind of situation, there would be a lot of advice and conjectures. They waited for Samuel for SEVEN good days, yet he did not turn up to come and offer burnt sacrifice. Yet Saul did not go to war without the burnt offering. You know then, there was no GSM service or ordinary telex. He still wanted God's favour. After waiting for seven good days and almost being deserted, he decided to do what a reasonable person would have done. He offered the sacrifice. As soon as he finished, the 'alakori' came in. He did not even deem it fit to apologise for not coming on time. What was his comment and what was God's judgment?

Somebody was born blind. When Jesus healed the man, Jesus was asked: who sinned?. It coudn't be the man since he was born blind. Jesus said it was God that did that so that his glory can be shown. A man's whole life (he was 40 yrs old then) was wasted so that God's glory can be shown. Nawa oh. Gowon was less than 40 when he became the HOS, one of his governors then was only 25 years. Donald Duke was in his 30s. Joseph became the Prime Minister in Egypt at the age of 30. David became king at the age of 30 and even Jesus was 33 years old when he completed his ministry. Elumelu was in his early 30s when he became head of a major bank.

What do you think of a God who will waste his creation's whole life so that he can be glorified. If you ask me, I don't think much of that God. Peace!

Common Pilgrim.1, the Apostle that reccommends celibacy will definitely not think polygamy is desirable. It is good here to distinguish between what the Apostle thinks and what God say
