Mrsserene: So there's nothing like adultery in Nigeria God have mercy! culture shock! so long it is not with another man's wife, a dependant or rape, it is legal culturally. your wife at home has no say in this matters so long as you cater for her and her children. that is the black Man's culture for you. it is only civilization, religion and morals that makes men to stick with one woman. the issue is that you should not point accusing fingers at the man that says he wants to practice his culture |

Mrsserene: I'm not against polygamy, but the way you did yours is very wrong. First you cheated on your wife, then impregnated another lady, then married the lady. Just pray that she doesn't sue you for bygamy. I don't know where you guys get this hypocrisy thing from. when it suits you, you jump on the bandwagon of the European law and custom. then the next minute you are a traditionalist from one sacred shrine. another minute you are holier than the pope. FYI, we are Africans. we have our culture and in our culture across Nigeria, a man can never cheat on a woman. it's not done anywhere. |

jimyjames: Of course I know the meaning of a failed state and Nigeria is one forget the packaging
When Nigeria gets its constitution right power will be in the hands of the people and things will be done right, Nigeria needs total restructuring, decentralization of power
you say Nigeria out of 200 million people has less than 2 million public workers, but in reality Nigeria don't have a data base of how many public workers they have, there are millions of ghost workers out there , many politicians out there are receiving money on fake names they put in the public service
There is no way a citizen will be patriotic when they leaders whom are meant to be role models are doing the wrong thing, when a patriotic citizen comes out to protest for his rights the leaders send police and soldiers to shot and kill them for protesting
A country where when you report a case to the police the police end up arresting you as a suspect? when the people hold to high esteem their stupid religious and superstitious beliefs do you think a good constitution will work. when those to implement and those it affects also believe in this rubbish! is it the constitution that make people believe in rituals of beheadings and removal of private parts, witches and wizard, deceit, yahoo yahoo and all other stupid vise? No. there are laws again all these things but the people don't believe in the constitution they believe more in their tradition. even those that will implement that your very good constitution believe in this rubbish. so mr, no constitution will work in Nigeria unless you change the orientation of the people. https://www.nairaland.com/7099728/missing-corper-stephanie-se-ember-terungwa |

jimyjames: The laws of china are the gods of china not really the party you can't oppose the law in China no matter who you are, in Nigeria politicians, leaders are above the law, the break the laws at will, steal at will and grant themselves pardons, it's not about been pained and full of hate, the whole world knows Nigeria is a failed state
The law makers themselves knows the constitution is faulty and needs amendment but those who are benefiting from the faulty constitution won't allow it do you know the meaning of a failed state? now after passing that your beautiful amendment and it becomes law, who will implement it? is it the man on the street that doesn't give a fvck about anything but himself? if you say it is the government, then you missed the road. at present, government employees are not even up to 2million. that is roughly about 1% of the population. how is it possible for 1% of the population to enforce a law on 99%? virtually impossible. you need the input of the citizens. in developed countries, when citizens see something untoward, they immediately dial 911 but in Nigeria, we start clapping and videoing or we ask for our share. |

jimyjames: Every country has bad selfish people plus good people, but a country where the laws, Constitution makes leaders gods that's the problem with Nigeria, in China even those who make the laws are not above the law, but here they are North Korea is a country with dictatorial tendencies their leader is seen almost like a god but North Koreans are one of the straightest people on Earth. in China, you cannot oppose the party. the party is seen as a god structure with no democracy. the leader gives order and it is obeyed unless you won die. the issue with you guys is that you see democracy as conforming to your ideas. democracy is all about collective agreement to an issue by the majority. democracy takes time to achieve results. on the other hand dictatorship is ruling by fiat and it doesn't waste time. our constitution at present does not give god powers to any president. it is just that you guys are pained and full of hate. |

jimyjames: You can't compare china with Nigeria on any level, the leaders in China love and care about their country more than their families, it's death sentence to a corrupt leader in China, china has close to five regions that enjoys a high level of autonomy, 2 special administrative regions like Hong Kong who has their own government and even currency , the power Chinese leaders have can only be used to better the country not for personal private or religious or tribal benefits it's like you like shifting the goalpost. you said constitution is the problem of Nigeria, I said no it is the people because we are too selfish. you said no because we don't practice true democracy. then I pointed to China. now you are talking about love for country. is it not the same thing as the people being the problem or solution and not one law or constitution? |

jimyjames: Take out APC and PDP? That's the solution? So the politicians in these two parties will forever be tied to the parties they can't defect to a new party? The people in APC now were once PDP members when you bring our your dick to wee on the streets or when you dump that rubbish inside a drainage, when you buy and sell inferior quality goods or when you jump the queue, are you a member of PDP or APC? you see, those in these political parties are a creation of our system in Nigeria. if you think members of smaller parties will make a difference, then you are on a long igbo weed. |

jmoore: Below is the list of what most states in USA charge for a candidate that wants to partake in primaries.
Governor: $5,000. U.S. Senate: $5,000. U.S. House: $2,500. State Senate: $1,000. State House: $500. Judicial offices: $500. Countywide elected offices: $100. County Commission or Constable: $25.
Let's compare one state in USA and a country called Nigeria.
GDP of Texas 2021: 2.0 Trillion dollars Budget of Texas 2021: 261.5 billion dollars. Presidential aspirants in Texas pay a $5,000 filing fee.
GDP of Nigeria 2021: 446.9 billion dollars Budget of Nigeria 2021: 23.3 billion US dollars (13.6 trillion naira) APC presidential form: 170,940 US dollars (100 million naira)
Compare that to a poor country called Nigeria. APC decided to set the price of governorship at $85,470 (50 million naira). That is 16 times more than what is paid in USA. While that of president set at 170,940 US dollars (100 million naira) is 34 times more than what is paid in USA.
Until INEC sets a REASONABLE limit on how much political parties can charge, this ridiculous trend will continue.
Are our destinies tied to APC and PDP? Many are complaining that these top two parties are disenfranchising young candidates with their prices. We have more younger people than old people. If only many Nigerians think like me, APC and PDP would have been abandoned for a long time. But most of the electorates love 'abusive relationship'.
If in other countries, a young person can win an election with a unpopular party, why can't it happen in Nigeria? you're stupid for opening this foolish thread. in the US, no matter how rich you are, there's a limit to which you can spend your personal fund. also, you need millions, if not billions of dollars to run for president. rubbish. |

100 million naira is a lot of money though.
Naturally a civil or public servant should not have such money. After buying they still need to campaign and lobby delegates.

Pele10: If you us this amount to buy nomination form, and eventualy win. Ur first duty in office is to recover the money ur money and make ur profit. the reason the fees are this high is to scare those who will have the intention of buying a form and use it to negotiate or lobby for one thing or the other. also, for those who would want to waste the party's time. it also shows the popularity of the aspirant because only a fool would use his personal money to gamble/run an election. it therefore means that for you to buy the form you need a support base that can put their money where their mouth is. |

Romance › Re: Experience With My Landlord's Daughter's Friend by Misterone: 5:19pm On Apr 20, 2022 |
kingsvictor2: This is a true life story, no addition nor subtraction.
I always wondered if women are truly lose and easy to get, I never actually believed it till I experienced it myself with a very beautiful girl who I never thought I could be able to woo her talk more of sleeping with her. During my school days, I lived in this particular compound for 3 years out of my 5 years in school, then another 3 years after my school as I retained the apartment during my service year (posted in Kwara state, I ghosted though cos of my work). I was very comfortable in the compound, the landlord liked me so much and also his children. His second and third son were very good friends of mine, they entered my apartment at will and same with me. My landlords daughter on the other hand liked me so much, she had her way of coming close to me but never spoke out to me pop and play. I liked her also but never spoke to her for anything. As a student, she often did cook some of these delicious dishes and brought to me, she did it on regular basis, I enjoyed it shaa. Fast forward to my story, I never thought of having any kind of relationship with her but there's this girl who was her friend, who did often visit her. This girl was too beautiful, oh my God! Every time I set my eyes on her, I must see her in my dream dat night. She's this brown skin girl with the nicest stature ever, pretty face. My obsession for her ended in my mind cos I couldn't muster the courage to go near her talk more of talking to her. I saw her way above my level and I could only admire her from a distance. Our conversation when she came to visit her friend started from good morning and ended at bye bye. One fateful day like dat, around 10.30pm at night I heard a knock on my door. Normally, it could only be my landlords sons who do knock for me at dat time, probably after champions league matches. They were football fans just like me, we do argue like ones. I went to my door and opened it and behold to my greatest surprise, it was my landlords daughter's friend. I was shocked and was pinned at dat spot. She asked me "can I come in?" I told her okay. She came in. I was just processing trying to find out how, and what she's doing in my house. I summoned the courage and put on my man armour and asked her "what's up, what are u doing in my house by this time"? She said it's a long story that she will tell me. I said okay and continued watching the movie I was before she interrupted. After like 30mins, I heard the sound of our yard gate which is a routine to locking it every night. I asked her if she isn't going home or go upstairs to the landlords apartment or call her friend cos the gate has been locked, she said she's been calling her but she wasn't picking up. At dat moment, I knew problem deh. I processed it immediately and said in my mind whatever it will be, let it be. She's too attractive anyway. Around 11.30pm I off my television and went straight to bed where she was already lying down, not sleeping though. I told her to feel comfortable dat nothing will happen. She said okay and turned her face at the other side of the bed. In like 5mins she asked me if there's any of my singlet she can wear that she doesn't eep easily with polo. I gave her one of my singlets which she worn after removing her bra. She didn't remove her trouser but her breasts were dangling like simple pendulum Bob, oh Jesus! I pretended as though I didn't see anything and turned to other side of the bed. After some moment, I felt a touch on my chest, she held me and hugged me. I responded in affirmation and turned to her. She started rubbing the hairs on my chest as she told me what happened. She said she went out with my landlords daughter to a birthday party and she didn't know when she left without her. It was late to go alone, she was calling her but she wasn't picking up. Some guys offered to drop her which she agreed but along the way, they told her to lodge with them in a hotel. She said she refused and asked them to drop her. After some argument they dropped her and she had to make her way to our yard as her own yard locks up by 10pm. I pitied her and told her sorry. She continued with touching my chest and I got aroused, I moved for her breast, she responded positively. From there, romance went up high and I went ahead to having the best sex of my life. Up till today I still think about that day and do ask myself, was it real? I wanted to have a relationship with her but never saw her again. She had a quarrel with her friend and they never remained in contact. Still looking for her after 4years. the way I see it, your landlord's daughter was in love with you. she must have confided this in her friend. her friend wanting to hurt her back for something that happened between them decided to sleep with you knowing fully well that after the sex, nothing permanent can happen between you and the landlord's daughter. If I lie, ask the landlord's daughter, she knows you slept with her friend. cause there's no way her friend will not burst her brains with the news. that's how women operate. they set traps with sex to hurt others. |
