Yes, nevertheless, the Northerners illiteracy level made it worse. Education in the SW has helped in this aspect. Look at UAE and the rest, they are still better than the Northern Muslims despite them been the true Arabs.

and fear I face everyday. When I came to South West I started seeing a bit beauty in Islam. South West muslims made me reserve a part of me for the love of Islam. I will never forget one Yoruba boy who prayed in the bus that I was. After Islamic prayers, came Christian prayer. I was like shooo. I will never forget seeing a musli imam come on the day his child was ordained a Catholic priest in Ibadan.'lol

I will never forget all the mosques that share common boundaries with pentecostal churches in Lagos. I will not also forget the day I met a mosque in Osun during my project that has bands and music instruments and adherents dancing and even singing church songs.

I will confess we Igbos do not even have such soft spot for other religions.
But to be frank with you, this trend will change sooner or later. Most Yoruba muslims are already becoming more fanatical and its just a matter of time. For as long Nigeria remain united expect problems in the future.

Well, like I said, thers is always that traitor. However, its been like that for ages. I don't think it will change. Take a look at Tinubu and Fashola. Both of them a Muslims, but their wives are Christians.

Also, they preach tolerance in their mosques. Their Alfa will be the one to lock up or beat to death any of his students that disrespects other religion.

100% correct. During my grandmother's burial outing, more than 100 women were in church with their ijab on their head. When I looked back and saw ijab too plenty in church I got confused.

Yorubas are such a wonderful loving and tolerant people. What you wrote here about their religious tolerance and maturity is true. I lived in South West all my life and I can attest that those people are just too good; a father will be Moslem, mother will be Christian, children will just pick religion of their choice and they'll all be tolerant of each other's religious beliefs.

You're absolutely right. You will have elder brother Muslim, younger brother Christian, yet sleep in the same room. The elder brother will even ask the younger brother what they were taught in church today and vice verse.

I think the world needs to study the Yorubas, ti understand how they practice religion without conflicts or fanatical views.

I totally understand your pains. I was born and raised in Lagos, however, I went to the North for my Bachelors degree back them.

There was so much tension. Soooooooooooo much. You have to watch every word that comes out of your mouth. You have to walk in a certain way, talk a certain way, laugh a certain way........ Horrible. The SW is super dope and relaxed.

I went to a Catholic school in Lagos, and some of my classmates back then were Muslims, I am talking of those rich Awori Muslims. Guess what? We attended Mass service together, twice every week.

During Sallah, we go to their houses to eat Sallah meat. We were one United Family. Never at any point in time did religious tension arise throughout my six years in high school.

Its only in the South West that you will have Alhaji as a Father, Deaconess as a mother, and Alhaji will drop his family in church on Sundays.

Only in South West Nigeria, have I seen Muslim families asking a pastor to come pray for them.

South Western muslims will even tell Christians going to church on Sunday, "pray for me too ooo"

South Western muslims are enlightened and educated. They don't give room for religious idiocy and fanatism.

South West muslims will come to your house and finish your Christmas food.

What caught my eyes is using another passengers tag number.

This guys are EVIL. So many people are in jail because of these evil bastards.

They bribe the airport staffs to put drugs in innocent passengers luggage. You arrive at your location only to be nabbed and jailed for something you know nothing about. Quite sad, you start suspecting your younger brother or mum or cousins who helped you pack your luggage, not knowing its these evil bastards.

Please when travelling, use a very strong padlock and also wrap your luggage if possible. Make sure to take the pictures of your luggage after all the wrappings. Even if they plant something in your luggage, they can't re-wrap it like the pictures you have. That way, you can have a case of tampered luggage.

This applies to mostly Nigerians travelling from Nigeria or returning to Nigeria.

Then the Southern Governors separate themselves from Nigeria, form a coalition for independent resource control and each region have her own PRIME MINISTER WHO WILL RULE HER PEOPLE, trust me, Oduduwa Republic and Biafra Republic will be actualized.

I have watched several T.V shows where Burna Boy was invited in the U.S and whenever they call his name, the American audience don't really know him, it takes the effort of the presenter/TV Host to let them know who he is.

Trust me, no American, Briton, Japanese, Jamaican etc will play your music just like that, except it has been playing on the radio, and no radio station will play any Nigerian music without Nigerians back home and those overseas promoting it.

Ask Burna Boy to go and perform at North Carolina State University, and ask him to perform at Lagos State University. Then compare the shouts and screams from Lagos State University Fans with that of North Carolina State University Fans. Trust me, it will be so quiet in North Carolina because a lot of them don't know him.

Back in the days when i was in Nigeria, my mechanic will remove a part from my car that is still very okay. But I just want to change it before it gets bad.

He sells the part to part dealers for probably 300 naira, they in turn sell it for 2000 naira. When you ask them, they will tell you its business.

Before you blame Dangote, blame yourself and others who place exuberant prices on their goods for no reason.
