Me. Called my department and a lady informed me that official emails will be sent mid March and that the departments have met and recommended students for admission.

I've never attended either school but I know they are really good school. I don't know what these negative reviews are, but if they are based on areas you deem important, then look for another school.

It is rated as a one of the top 10 universities in the world and was recommended to me by a research specialist. But I know sometimes the reality on ground might be different. The few reviews I read were positive and I am seeking more reviews, specifically from Nigerians. Can you explain why the university no make am?

When you open the application, does it say recieved for the application fee? I think it's normal for it to show processed application once you submit the completed application.

If you have a conditional offer and waiting for other schools, its simple if you get a better offer elsewhere simply don't fulfil the conditions attached and the first offer would remain conditional which is not binding.

What's a good reason to defer admission? I accepted a conditional offer at a university but I am still waiting for a response at another university. I thought if I just requested to defer till the next academic year, I would be granted but I am being asked to provide a reason which of course I dont have, other than waiting for other universities.

I guess my second question is, is a degree in the UK since it's becoming harder to stay back for work experience.

I have already sent the course outline Thursday last week, no response from them yet. Been checking my status and it is reading complete, ready for review. This was before I sent the course outline.

Uni of Manitoba? You can email them to confirm if they received it and if that's what they were asking for. Try to stay calm and positive.
On a lighter note, it nice to meet someone who studied nursing as well.

Talking about Nursing admission, I applied for a PhD in Nursing program at the University of Saskatchewan last year October. I submitted all required documents. However, last week I got a mail from the school requesting for additional documents that has to do with the courses offered at my masters degree. I emailed my tutors and one of them wrote back assuring me that all the additional courses were met at the masters degree program. I have emailed them attaching the tutor’s email and all the courses and the learning outcomes offered at the masters program. I have not heard from them yet. I am really scared as I do not know my stand now.

For someone applying for student visa for Masters, can I submit only undergrad degree and exclude WAEC? I asked because I don't want to notarize much docs...I used two WAEC results to gain admission into university then.

Is the university asking for high school grades or WAEC for Masters?

I quit. Then I ran back when I realized I needed the money . The difference this time is that I had an honest conversation with my boss.

I am in the same boat.I haven't gotten a response from them. I had to call the department to confirm that they recieved my documents. I am thinking of calling but they will most likely be on holiday now.
