Once u submit to VFS before the 30th day, u have no problem bruv.. I think VFS sends the Passport same day they receive it.. But ma point is so far u submit ur Document or passports before the stipulated time, you have no worries.. Peace

she is trying to clarify if she can submit to vfs on the 29th day before the expiration of the 30 days bearing in mind that the letter states that it must be submitted to the canadian embassy within 30 days.

Funny Question.. Do u wanna submit to the Canadian embassy urself? Of course its crystal clear that you should submit to VFS and VFS will take it up form there.. No need of giving ursef unnecessary headache.. Or when submitting ur paper application, did u go submit it direct to their Anifowoshe, London or Nairobi office? Please lets be guided, submit to VFS, and they will submit to the embassy as we all know.. Peace

Lol you are funny . Let me worry on this one abeg . I am aware that I will have to submit my passport to the VSF office. I am just not sure if the 30 days mentioned in the letter was to submit it to the VSF office or if it was the maximum given for my passport to reach the embassy (from VSF to the embassy). The letter stated that it should be received by IRCC within 30 days. I will be traveling and will be submitting my passport late and as a result, it may be reaching the embassy after 30 days. So even though I will be submitting it within 30 days to the VSF office, it will reach the embassy after 30 days.

It means you have to submit your Original passport to VSF within 30 days. If not, your SP may be revoked

In the passport request letter, it states that the passport should be recieved by IRCC within 30 days, does this mean I should submit the passport within 30 days to the vsf or it should arrive within 30 days at the Canadian embassy?

Ohh sorry. OK, received mine since 7thjune and no show till now.

If your application is beyond the processing time maybe you could send them a web form. I also received the passport request letter by email first before getting an update on my portal. I think CIC's website has been acting up lately.

I have now received an update on my CIC account that my application has been approved alongside a passport request letter. I am hoping this means that there won't be any secondary background checks because I am planning to travel and will require my passport.

Not advisable to change now, from the look of things your TRV is almost ready (90%). Once you get your TRV and arrive Canada you can change your DLI, present the offer letter of the new school to the immigration officer that will attend to you at the airport then change your DLI in the comfort of your new school

My good people here....plscome to my aid ooo. I applied for Master of Nursing in 2 different University in Canada(Alberta and Saskachwan) and i was denied by the 2 University. I graduated 2016 BNSC with 3.75 CGPA.

Program coordinate still insists on me writing ielts/TOEFL. No waiver given.

If this is for grad school, maybe you can speak to your supervisor. Otherwise, you may need to write it.
Should you need to write it, I am not sure if you should start the applying for the study permit now or wait until you get your IELTS.

You can call/email about how the processing time for the visa is long and the official language in Nigeria is English. You can also state that you are willing to send samples of your writing, if needed. Try to speak on the phone with someone ( they can also judge your level of speaking and understanding this way as well). Although I wasn't asked for an English proficiency test, I am not sure if it has to do with the fact that I did my undergrad at an international branch of a Canadian University.

I guess I also have ask if you mind writing the IELTS.
