Indeed, in comparison to world cup trophy where competitors compete among themselves fairly to emerge victorious. We all await a reply which is possible to determine the true winner of the Feb 25, 2023 election. If this is the case, only time will tell...

Well fellow patriotic Nigerians.

What are your observations and experiences to the weekend election that was supposed to take place 25.2.2023.? It is now election day 25.2.2023, 26.2.2023 perhaps even 27.2.2023 and still counting...

My observation is that, there seem to be a big disconnect between Registered voters, Accredited voters, Valid votes, Votes Cast or Rejected Votes numbers. The fluctuation is mind boggling different part of the country. A forensic investigation or audit on this is necessary. It doesn't add up for me. I smell foul play.

What is your views or opinion about this discussion on being a Nigerian?

It is high time we have a LAW in NIGERIA that forbids bigotry of tribes and discrimination irrespective of your ethnicity or religion. A fine should be impose for any person(s) as a first time offenders, with the possibilities of a jail term term/community service for subsequent offenders. This would help in nation building and detour future occurrence. I do believe that Nigeria history should be taught as a mandatory subject in our schools. In addition, a citizen induction lesson/course in all levels of our educational system. What does it mean to be a Nigerian? What is your responsibilities as a citizen of Nigeria? What is your as a Nigerian? etc...

I think that state of origin should be scraped and left only state of birth in all formal documents. Furthermore, I believe that a place of residence should be initiated that entitles anyone that has lived in a particular state consecutively for least 2 years or more.

I think a truth and reconciliation committee should be set-up to heal the wounds of the past with a clear path as to what we desire or want as a country (NIGERIA).

These are my taught.

6. Free medical care for him and members of his family for life.
7. Entitled to cooks, stewards, Gardners, and domestic staffs, all pensionable.
8. 300% of his annual basic salary as governor every 2 years as furniture allowance

10. Two DSS officers, 1 female officer for his wife and eight policemen to guard him.
11. 25% of his annual basic salary for personal assistants.
12. 30% of his annual basic salary for car maintenance .
13. 20% of his annual basic salary as utilities maintenance.
14. Pensionable drivers, no limits to the number.

This is apart from what Bola TINUBU gets as a percentage of collections from Alpha Beta for tax collections for Lagos State and the total control he has over the governor and the treasury.

But see what Peter Obi collects from Anambra State since leaving office as governor:

1. No gratuity
2. No pensions
3. No houses
4. No cars
5. No allowances of any kind
6. No maintenances of any kind.
7. No personal assistants paid by the state.
8. No domestic staffs paid by the state.
9. No aids sponsored by the state.
10. Not even pure water.
11. No shishi from the State.
12. No landed property
13. No trace of any form of corruption on him till date
14. He's still using his personal money to pay school fees for some children of the poor till date.

Now the two men want to be president.

So choose you today who means well for Nigeria and who will serve the people selflessly.

While election is relatively expensive in Nigeria. Despite the fact that it heats up our politics and exposes our diversity as a nation between ethnic lines.

The positive here is that within this electoral circle usher in rapid commissioning of projects. It might be good for our development and growth of our nation - Nigeria but set a very bad precedent on how we select our leaders in public offices.

Leaders that are entrust to hold public office, should know that they are there to serve the public. They should also know that the resources they use to execute such projects are not theirs and as such their names shouldn't be portrayed as if, they owned it but rather the institutions they represent should be more pronounced on such.

If we say we practice democracy in its true form, it should reflect on governance and the people; vice-versa.

What's your take on the egocentric and narcissistic of our public leaders?
