120 million wat?.....This is chicken feed to an ex-president of the biggest black nation on earth, even a state governor has much more than this in his accounts,then how much more an ex-presido, I think most people still under-estimate the guy's abilities probably because of his looks,the guy should be within the range of the top 3.richest ex-presidents in the world,with most of the money stashed in off -shore accounts.

Nigeria made so much money during his reign. There is always too much money at the centre awaiting looting, has anyone ever pondered on y he had madam Diezani in the petroleum ministry despite strong disapprovals from some quarters...

The change they advocated is not their ways of lives bt they want the common man to give up the almost zero luxury that he manages to get for himself thru dint of hard work.

The sad reality is that this country will continue to be in a mess because the citizenry and the government re not serious abt making things work.

These useless law- makers travel out,and they see the way things work out there bt are not ready to replicate same in Nigeria.

Maybe because it's Gidi, if they should try this elsewhere like Benin or PH, eya will be their case,u don't disrespect people like that,some persons don't like being disrespected and will go to any length to do u in. The bouncers need to be sanctioned severely before they ruin an innocent man's business.

The management really needs to look into this latest brawl and tender apologies where necessary, it's becoming one complaint too many of them.

Hmmm, really?So we re now in a season of alibi or self-praise,he is resorting to self-praise since nobody is ready to praise him for the still epileptic power supply,even if there was any improvement after assuming office,people will still not be satisfied, reason being that he made a show of criticising the former administration and even went further by saying ;"a responsible government should be able to solve the N.E.P.A debacle once and for all,he made it look like it was like a walk in a park but alas reality has sunken into him and knows better now.

But Uncle Fash has spent more than 18 months as minister compared to his 6 months he mentioned as his yard stick and yet no iota of improvement,still nothing positive to show,he should bury his head in shame.He is part of a government of deceit,propaganda, excuses which the citizenry re now tired of hearing every now then.

Bottom line is don't ever think you re a super man to fix things wen u don't even ve the slightest knowledge of how that thing works ,he obviously is looking like a fool and tongue - tied now and which is his reason for the self - praise.

I don't understand wat the hullabaloo about W. S tearing his green card is all about.

The man is an icon and well known globally, there re a host of other countries that he can move to if he decides to leave the U. S and I know these countries will gladly receive/grant him residency.

Prior to now, a host of American celebrities like Tina Turner had given up their American citizenship and more will follow suit, and just last week, Steven Seagal moved to Russia to stay,others re moving to Canada et al.

America's green card is ultimate only to those who think it is and definitely not for the likes of W. S.........Because he is an asset to any country.

The man's white hair is iconic and his face is known world over and which was the main reason y wen Abacha's heat became too much, he was ferried to Switzerland from a neighboring African country based on just personal recognition that he was W. S even wen he had no document to show who he was in the heydays of NADECO's struggle against Abacha in the 90's.

Like Swiss Air said :" we took W. S to Switzerland based on personal recognition ",so he is more like a citizen of the world rather than a particular geograhical location and not forgetting the fact that he is also a Nobel laureate.

Anytime I see such things in the news, It's seems like "De Ja Vu" then I remember "24 Hours".

Once again, that series is more than just a movie. I also "like to think that" apart from the script writer(s) being clairvoyants, it's somewhat political aswel. I may be wrong.

Are you watching the current one, "Designated Survivor"? I wont be surprised about that aswel.

Nope,I am not really a movie buff but most times I get to only watch wen I ve heard so much abt the movie,and wen i eventually set off,i become a stickler for details and this was wat happened with the series "24".

I hardly ve the time to sit and watch movies these days but now that u ve mentioned the "current one",I think I will have to give it a shot.

They leave us with the impression that anyone who dies while on active duty is on his own because no sooner has the person's remains been interred than he will be forgotten......

A stitch in time would have prevented the colossal waste .
Pity.

The main guy and on whose behalf the other fallen soldiers re being remembered was a lt. colonel in the person of Mr. Ali. If not,the other relatively unknown soldiers would ve been unsung......So I don't think it's all about sanity or no sanity returning.

The most saddening part is that, those people that enjoyed this kinda opportunity are the same people depriving us the kinda enjoyment they had then!

Very true, especially those academics who had a lot of goodwill from the government then from scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, subsidized meals to ready jobs awaiting them wen done with their studies and it is very pitiable that they re still the same set of people who deprived us from getting a feel of wat they enjoyed in their time, and always acting viciously towards students like they re superhumans,feeling like tin gods and deities who must be feared and trembled before wen in their presence .......

They even make trashy statements like: "education is not a right but just a privilege as if it was so in their own time . Any little infraction from government then would be followed by "ALUTA" and they re still the ones stifling students unionism on our campuses, they don't want opposition of any sort from the students, they always want them to swallow everything they dish out hook line and sinker.

A very useless set of mofos, no wonder O. B. J once described them as skirt-chasing and handouts- selling individuals....

Wen Jonathan was president ,he was very visible in his government even though he held no portfolio, most of the ministers deferred to him in order to be in his good books,the president even took him as a father and he still couldnt help the Niger Delta,

Immediately Jonathan lost the election he made a detour and disparaged Jona with some statements,he is a friend to AGIP (Any government in Power),if he thinks Bubu is gonna hand out stipends or money meant for rebuilding the Niger Delta to them then he is on a long thing.
