Leeches who want to be spoon-fed all the time, and till eternity. Very greedy and corrupt lots,if not because of separation of powers, all these guys deserve a visit from the Daura Secret Service to restore their brains to default settings which, and it will save us all these embarrassment! They revel in corruption which they ought to be fighting against. It has become a way of life and a part of them, so extra measures must be taken as well to purge them of these ills............ |
blackberlin:Where ,how and wen did Jona kneel down before Sanusi,?would u mind expatiating on this because anything abt Jona gives some people erections. |
Damage control things bt who gives two bleeps anyway, this is their time so they had better use it wisely in the line of duty and they shouldn't be over zealous, they should be as professional as they ought to be in carrying out their duties, because Bubu won't be there forever and Marilyn Ogar who was the spokesperson of the S.S.S win Jonathan was in charge readily comes to mind and where is she today now?,she is being forgotten gradually and she is also sinking into oblivion never to be remembered for other things bt her over zealousness in her official capacity. |
Me sef go vote am if he decides to contest, all na change na, anuofia, bunch of silly nd stupid people that should ve been excised from this country long ago, We can't cohabit with these people peacefully in this same country anymore, cohabiting will always breed trouble and confusion, they re too backward and will always hold over parts of the country down and hence hindering National development . .Regional government is the best option and way to go since they re holding onto the centre tentatively like its their God given right to do so. |
Use and Dump Party, I don't blame the party but the people who still went ahead to work with them despite the party's antecedents, the populace should learn to drill every party asking for their votes hard because once the party gets to power, it automatically becomes a lord of some sorts and won't give a hoot abt the voters anymore till election year again with cap in hand begging for our votes again. So we shouldn't allow them to sway us with their rhetoric or appeal to our emotions, they must do things to benefit us,i think there is the need to introduce mid-term elections in Nigeria so that we can kick out those redundant politicians who ve nothing to offer apart from amassing wealth to our detriment. |
globe16:Leave that guy or at best let him continue to live in denial, he and his ilks still don't want to accept the fact that their idol has been out-schemed hence the need for the self- denial. It is said that when u see a guy dancing, try and look for the drummer because he is responsible for all the rhythm being displayed by the dancer. For the guy to even dare think that Oyegun is acting on his own means he knows nothing abt politics. It was Tinubu that made sure he was installed as party chairman and not Tom Ikimi and u think such a person would dare move against someone Of Tinubu's clout without being nudged by any higher "force",HABA!!! hmmm it is ok. Ignorance they say is bliss.......... |
Bunch of dunderheads who re only good at reneging on promises and agreements. They feel the country belongs to them 100 percent and the right to lord themselves over other regions. This must surely end someday... The reason y u guys can also vote in n a ram or toad provided it's the consensus candidate of the North, and thereby sacrificing the most qualified on the altar of mediocrity and tribal sentiments |
PaulIdu:Probably because the Saudis ve a lot of investment in the U. S particularly the stock exchange, any wrong move by the U. S could trigger the withdrawal of these investments. Also don't forget that the U. S use the Saudis to do some of their dirty jobs in the Middle East ,and OPEC readily comes to mind where they re used to destabilize the price of crude by non-confirmation to laid down production quota. They re America's eyes in the Middle East. America's biggest military base in the Middle East is in Bahrain(a very strong ally of the Saudis),which was the main reason the Arab spring didn't ve much effect there despite being intense, with protesters being mauled by government forces ,it would be to the detriment of the U. S if it had happened, and despite Bahrain having one of the worst Human Rights records, u won't see the U. S say anything or chastise the government..........Formula One even went ahead to stage one of their events there at a time repression of the citizens was ongoing to create an "all is well " kind of impression. Take a look at the proposed 9/11 bill that would enable relatives of victims to sue the Saudi Government at anytime they wish, the bill is yet to see the light with Obama even threatening to veto it should the house pass it. So there re lots of interests at stake for the two parties and which none of them will be willing to jeopardise. Ask yourself the reason y the Saudi government has not been called out at the U. N over her abysmal Human Rights records and patronage of Sunni terrorists which re well known facts,it's simply because the U. S will stand down any such move by the body..... |
Preparation for Elections Petition Tribunal for the next elections is already loading, he is trying to dot the I'd and cross his t's by having his men in place just in case a dispute of any electoral victory arises ,and needs to go all the way to the Supreme court. He is trying to fix those who would be sympathetic to A. P. C's cause just the way the P. D. P did. Well I hope these ones re not corrupt like their predecessors. Yet again y re they re all from the North, y?. Well I will ve no problem with dat provided they re next in line or on merit bt would be totally wrong if this is the normal politics the North play by having their people in strategic places... Nigeria has many fault lines already and appointments ought to reflect dat to some extent and not this government of the North NY the North and got the North, who even does that in a democracy? Uncle Jona didn't constitute his cabinet this way and the Northerners shouted to high heavens that they had been marginalised despite having some few influential people in his government, well I guess it's the winner takes all kind of politics. Let the best man for the job get it so that we don't ve mediocrity. |

The write-up is not up-to Soyinka's well known standard of writing. It lacked words that he would use normally if he was writing . His use of words won't be so straight forward like it is here as u would need to read twice and strain ur understanding to make head or tail of.So the bottom line is that Soyinka didn't write that piece of crap u call a write-up. |
SamuelAnyawu:Re u sure?most of our politician re dumb, they always leave a trail of evidence, and they don't even seem to care even wen they re in the know that the practice could backfire, they re just too desperate to grab power. It might interest u to know that in the not too distant past,Jesse Jackson, Mohammed Ali, Mike Tyson were names seen in a voters register in one of the states of these our beloved and fantastic country. How dumb can one get?. They know that the worst thing that will happen is for the opponent to petition the Election Tribunals and by then they re already on the seat and then will start using the state's resources to follow up on the case, so @ the end it's a win-win situation for them. |
Ojukkwufrank:Don't u think u re getting too personal with this crack head, don't kill urself with so much hate, it's not just worth it or is it as some of u re wont? But wait a minute, wat really got into u guys heads that made u support ur slave master ?Were u guys myopic or it was just borne out of ur personal hatred for ur so called "Ineffectual Buffoon ",now u say the result, u committed a "political harakiri" with that move.A clear example of cutting ones nose in order to spite ur face, kikikikikikiki. Pls accept our sincere apologies from the South - east and south-south ,we know how deep it pains to be used and dumped how much more wen u dumped by a less sophisticated descendants of Uthman Dan Fodio......Jagaban is a local champion of the ludo game who thought he could outwit the chess masters bt alas they re the ones now schooling him in the game of politicking........ . Ur Tibubu had better stuck to his local champion kind of politics because this is his calling. Ur idol is getting smashed and served from the centre, front, back and sideways Take it easy way bro lest u die of frustration. Ur Demi god knows wat has hit him and he knows it's a make or break for his political life, can't u see his appearance these days, and u re still living in denial there. |
Ojukkwufrank:Ok sir, I ve heard all u said sir, anymore thing? I am out,....... peace. |
Ojukkwufrank:Ok sir, I ve heard all u said sir, anymore thing? I am out and peace. |
Money don enter voice mail since na, nor be today, patapata na court e go end and the judgement will obviously be bought by the highest bidder. |
Ojukkwufrank:No problem, the seasonal movie is still at the early stage and it's unfolding gradually. @ op, y will I deny my tribe, I already told u that I ain't Ibo but politically we re like brothers now, is that too hard for u to understand still.? |
Ojukkwufrank:Just look at u dolt, wat makes u feel I am Igbo, smh I am not for ur information I am not bt politically we re the same and I stand with them on thus issue because they re more trustworthy than the Yorubas who naturally re snitches and back biters . Besides all that I was only admonishing u guys to be more cautious than ever in ur dealings with the North, bt nope u won't take that bt u prefer to transfer ur anger instead of u facing ur masters up north, children of hate, the same thing they did to Awolowo, M. K. O, Benjamin Adekunle is still the same they re meting to ur Jagaban. Just a little advise for the sophisticated ones and u re here spewing trash and foaming in the mouth like a rabid dog ,continue foaming in the mouth till water go pass garri soon and by then there will be nothing for u guys to salvage. U think u can go the whole hog without the other components of the South to take on the North, u must be dreaming, u better wake up and smell the coffee. No wonder Hubert Ogunde of blessed memory did a track titled : Yoruba ronu. I am not suprised because even within ur bloc, there re many snitches, who re always ready to snitch on their fellow Yoruba brothers for a mess of pottage, continue to live in ur folly and self-denial, it suits u. |
Ojukkwufrank:Really, then y the hullabaloo about ur Jagaban being sidelined, used and dumped like a piece of tissue by ur usual slave masters, abeg eff off my post, I didn't post it because of ur ilks, and the last time I checked I still had the freedom of expression, so y re u pained, the sophisticated ones always taken to the cleaners by the less sophisticated ones all the time, so much for sophistication. |
Tstone1:U don't seem to understand that when brothers have a fight, it won't be as serious as the one they ve with outsiders, they will still ve some consideration like, "he is my blood ",and this was the scenario that played out between O.B.J and Tinubu. Bt with the North, it's a whole different kettle of fish, they re ready to decimate, annihilate Jagaban because they see him as a stumbling block to their quest. One of the first steps in winning a war is understanding ur foe very well bt I guess the Yorubas still don't know the Hausas /Fulanis who can kill for power, they live, eat and drink power, it is all they live for, and they re not ready to let go of the quest. U can see a lot of political gladiators from the north just waiting to hear Buhari say he is not contesting then u will see them come out in full force like vultures feasting on a carcass. It will be a miracle if Tinubu survives this onslaught because they re trying to supplant him in the south west using his erstwhile political sons. Politics is a game of interest, no permanent enemies and no permanent friends, but with the way the Hausas have treated u guys in the past and coupled with the present debacle, then the yorubas ought to start seeing the North as an eternal enemy politically,or how many times will u guys be used to wipe an ass after which they discard u. |
Shym3xx:I like this post, simple bt very deep. |
BakireBulmaker:I give up on the yorubas honestly, just look at this one claiming Bubu might even want to hand over to Fashola, re u for real? The northerner doesn't joke with power and doesn't trust anybody either wen it comes to power, he would rather present a leprous northerner than hand over to a non - northerner under normal condition unless they see the need to let another tribe take a shot at the presidency so as to assuage agitations. Power is all they live for. |
Realman87:I like the vigor with which u re pursuing this, keep it up. We told them then, we shouted nd shouted until our voices became hoarse, so let them enjoy the music, no alliance with the South West of any sort will happen in the nearest future because they don't ever learn and they re snitches, so much for sophistication ,sophistication my foot. |
PaulIdu:.I tell u, I ve seen some of his posts, the guy is so on point with his predictions, maybe he has a crystal ball. |
globe16:Andy Uba that was the de-facto Petroleum Minister in O. B. J's government, I guess they don't know him or they re clearly underestimating him, the dude is heavily boxed up. Maybe he only wants to be governor probably because it's been a lifelong ambition or so. |

warrah:@op, Nigeria is too big and complicated for one man to toss around the way he likes, reason being that the "lions " in this country are much and strong, ask yourself why: Abacha was unable to transmute into a civilian president,...... I. B. B couldn't complete his dreams of ruling forever, Obasanjo couldn't push his third term agenda thru, and more recently an incumbent lost an election for the first time in Nigeria? It's simply because there re some power brokers who actually call the shots and the president dare not move against them if not they will make the country ungovernable for him, like Boko Haram did to Jona. They ve boys in every sector of the country, they can sabotage an unyielding president if they decide to, so it's actually more complex than u think, the president has absolute powers bt there re still some very big fish that he can't mess with lest he wants total anarchy in his government and this is a fact the president knows too well. This is the main reason I am not swayed by the cries of tyranny looming, because I know before it gets to that stage if actually it would, serious means to curtail it would ve arisen. Abacha did worse bt where is he today? Nigeria is not like other African countries where a man or his dynasty will be in power for donkey years,a " solution" will surely will be devised u can quote me on this anywhere and anytime .By time the big fish re done with such a president, nobody will tell him to relinquish power. Just ask urself why I. B. B is still making it known that he doesn't still like Buhari despite being president?Or u think Bubu will move against him for that? Nope he won't because the day he tries a thing like that ,it will signal the beginning of the end of his presidency, It might interest u to know that Uncle Jona lost the polling unit within the precincts of Aso Rock in the last election, I guess u know wat that means. |
NgeneUkwenu:Surprisingly this is the first time I will be forced to agree with ur post, the judges were becoming something else, judgements were reserved for highest bidders, the most glaring and annoying of them were @Odili who was given a perpetual injunction restraining the E. F. C. C from arresting or questioning him, like seriously.and who does that? It sounds so ridiculous that u get ashamed being a Nigerian.......,@ Igbinedion who all he got was a pat on his wrist for embezzling billions......, and @ Maina or so who was the chairman of pension fund board or administrators...this very one was equally embarrassing, someone that stole billions and the judgement he gets is to pay a few amount of money not even up to a hundred thousandth part of his haul, I think it was there in the court that he dipped his hand into his pocket and paid the fine. Where is Justice Mercy Awokulehin or so who couldn't see just a single charge on which to convict an accused out of about 170 count charge, she acquitted the accused on all charges and it was a new record then as it was dubbed "Naija wonder." They made us believe that when u ve the chance to embezzle, make sure u do so in billions or trillions so that all u get as judgement is a pat on the back and/but if u steal little then u must surely land in jail. That symbol of justice that has her eyes blindfolded can actually see clearly now because Nigeria's judiciary is now preferential knowing who to send to jail and who not to send. The only thing I ve against this operation is the timing. |
OlajumokeBread:Some people dey mad I swear . this one don pass assignment things, and it's like u ve had ur own fair share of such ladies... . On a lighter note, it's not every lady's V.G that smells, there re some that if a finger is inserted and brought out, u won't be able to tell where that finger has been and this is what separates 'real ladies" from the " girls". |
SmellingAnus:That is too difficult for some of them na, they don't like the man and they still won't give to the poor the way he does and I am not referring to those who give in secret, some re just all out to grab, grab nd grab without giving the society anything in return, they all seem to be in a hurry to see whose bank account is heaviest, they ve a voracious appetite for worldly and material things with so much pride. |
menix:I don't think so. If u were born in the late 70s/early 80s, then I guess u should ve experienced it. |
Jibril659:U can help with a purgative. |
