And upon all these u still want to take a loan, keep on deceiving the gullible ones ,continue with the lies and we will surely do the needful in 2019.A very clueless and rudderless government indeed..... |
Na waoo for this Aisha husband, won't he just sit his ass down for once and find lasting solutions to all the problems bedevilling this country or does he think that charity begins abroad? If he thinks so, he should let us know so dat we won't complain again. The most annoying thing is the fact that all his numerous trips abroad in the past ve still not yielded anything positive, the investors that he is looking for to come invest in Nigeria are rather leaving the country in droves. |
Wat is this man talking about? Power generated In Nigeria is fed into the national grid from whence it is disturbed and it doesn't even guarantee the generating state a substantial part of the power........ And this is actually killing the zeal of patriots who would want to generate power on a small scale for their locality only, he should go ask Rivers, and Lagos states how their romance with power generation ended on a sour note..... |
Our politicians sycophancy stinks to high heaven,to even make it worse is the fact these re peoples' parents ,how will their kids feel wen they see their papas on TV lying thru their teeth. They ve failed the masses, wen they assume an elective position they see it as a call to loot our commonwealth and not a call to serve, they even go as far as holding thanksgiving services in church thinking the Almighty Lord can be bribed. Let them continue till it gets to a point where the poor will ve nothing else to eat and will start eating the mofos...... |
richidinho:Not a thing, that he is still talking about an election after how many months should tell u a lot about his person.Any little thing they start talking of Election loss, election win, tell him to put "election win" as food on Nigerians tables, or as foreign exchange, "election win" that hasn't affected us in any positive way apart from sinking us farther into hunger and strife. |
Towncrier007:Which money?, sth that would ve even be re-looted as we speak, or were u not aware of wat happened to Abacha's loot? |
yeezyquan:Very sensible statement, @ least that would ve made it possible for them to build a water tight case around him. Funny enuf, he might not even have up to the required amount for the phones in his account..... |
TonyeBarcanista:This man, ur comments at times leave one agape, how is the whole country going to miss him, yes we will all die bt for now it's minus one for the club of geriatrics that got us where we re today.. .After serving the country in his capacity as the head of the Roger, roger force, Wat else do u know he did post retirement?? |
nortcentrallord:Hmm, the two of una nor just get chill at all.But on a more serious note, it is annoying wen u see d celebration of mediocrity. |
They ve started again, this was how the general dodged all the debates then because he knew that he had nothing to say abt the questions that would be asked, and today we re in a quagmire that we can't wriggle out of easily. Uncle Aketi is adopting the same pattern our oga adopted maybe because he knows that he is not sound economically and doesn't ve wat it truly takes to lead Ondo state and so wouldn't want to goof.Ondolites shine ur eyes wella, any candidate who is not bold enuf to lay bare his plans on how he intends to rule if given the opportunity of leading the state....Or Wat excuse does he ve to give for not attending, this is a debate that every party has earnestly prepared for and looked forward to,so y has he developed cold feet all of a sudden?..... Most of the candidates ve one comma, defect or the other, just imagine that fraudster in the person of Jimoh Ibrahim, wat does he know abt governance other than going in to loot the treasury, in short Jimoh has to be stopped by all means by Ondo lites if they truly love their state because if he eventually wins then Mimiko tenure would be like paradise wen juxtaposed with the criminal's tenure. |
Princedapace:Very funny, and I actually thought soldiers were more disciplined in that area, not as if they don't drink bt I didn't know they drink and stagger a lot too, wat then happens to their guns wen they re in such a state? ,and I guess accidental discharge will be a common occurrence in that situation too, anyway thanks for sharing....l |
Princedapace:Yes bt then e be like say police own na im worse pass maybe because them nor dey hide am at all. Re u really serious about soldiers drinking and falling? Hmm, na waoo... |
nairaman66:Not hating and y will I even do such, it was just an observation that has been boggling my mind for sometime..... |
Mockinbird:U re daft and plain stupid, continue to wallow in ur foolishness..... |
Mockinbird:Mr. man, can't u put ur argument across without cussing or insulting the person, it shows that u re still a kid, possibly one of the indomie generation kids. |
Mockinbird:Mr. man, can't u put ur argument across without cussing or insulting the person, it shows that u re still a kid, possibly one day of the indomie generation kids. |
Mockinbird:This calls for sober reflections, where did we go wrong as a country, if countries like Yemen could negotiate the release of Yemenis then how much more the so called giant of Africa, I know some of u are wont to blame the culprits for taking drugs to a country where it is prohibited, yes and I agree with u bt then the deed has been done and this is not the time for name calling. We must stand up to our leaders and force them to protect our interest... Just imagine Singapore et al have no regards for us, and these are countries Nigeria was once better than in the 80's bt today the reverse is the case. I don't even know the work of our consulates anymore, it will be better if they closed them down bcoz they re of no use or wen last did we hear that our ambassador to any country interceded on behalf of a Nigerian who has committed a crime. They re just there to feather their nests and get involved in racketeering... They should take a cue from the U. S. A, no country in the world be it Saudi Arabia or so would dare behead an American if found wanting. They would tell the host country to hand the person over to the U. S. A and appropriate punishment will be meted on him/her.... And if war breaks out in a country where their citizens are, they would send down a plane to ferry them back home and also America's Consulate in Nigeria issue periodicals from time to time warning their citizens where to go and where not to go.... Other countries do things for their citizens bt wat ve we as Nigerians gained from this goddamn Nigeria? absolutely nothing, they will rather add to the yokes that re upon us already.. |
sweetgala:Yeah bt that still doesn't mean they shouldn't churn out quality products for the listening pleasure of their fans because eventually this is wat will separate a talent from the pack at the end of the day, just take a look at Tuface ,he is not the only musician bt he is the most talked abt and appreciated because of the quality of his work. |
What is this same look about our policemen all about?Or is it the bribe and egunje that make them look funny all the time ? Wen u see other forces' officers of corresponding ranks,u will surely marvel at their looks, always looking sharp and well kempt bt it's not so with the police, maybe the evils they commit and the roja re responsible... ,there is always a pall of darkness around them. I hope he faces the same rigours and frustration that they subject lawyers to wen they represent or bail their clients... |
yarimo:Yeah, we all learn in one way or the other all the time just like I ve learnt sth new from my conversation with u tonight, bt the most irritating thing u see on nairaland these days re people who claim to be wiseacres and pretend to know almost everything and meanwhile they re empty, they close their ears to any dissenting opinion and act like they re a closed system.... Nobody is an island of knowledge.... |
Politicians with their double-speaking, Fayemi wants to appear as a loyal person who can't even hurt a fly whereas he is seeking and plotting the heavy downfall of Jagaban. They say sth bt do the opposite of it, they ve no integrity, at least in the den of thieves, there is a little modicum of trust nd honor bt I guess it's not so with our career- politicians. |
yarimo:Yes I know he is a former president and I agree with u on this no doubt, bt don't u think adding that appellation would ve been superfluous? Just my little thought anyway. |
Jacko1:. OK oh ,as per the morale booster part, I think I will ve to agree with u on that bt that is one of the reasons he is there as the governor na,to use state funds judiciously in taking care of the citizens be it military officers or "bloody " civilians as they say. |
TonyeBarcanista:.Re u the one in charge of the future ??I am asking because nothing seems implausible politically these days, if Trump who is considered a neophyte politically can become the president of the U. S and also if Buhari who prior to this last election was unsellable and had made for himself a career of contesting for the presidency every now and then could eventually see his dream come true then nothing is impossible under the sun anymore. |
yarimo:How?? U mean former president should also ve be written on the cake too? And how does it sound to the ears? |
idris4r83:Na which kind nice gesture be dat?? Is it not wat a responsible nd responsive government ought to do? I don't even know who is worse, the leaders or followers? We keep celebrating mediocrity which gives the leaders the temerity to do their nonsense all the time. |
idris4r83:Na which kind nice gesture be dat?Is it not wat they re supposed to do, we keep celebrating mediocrity. |
Opiletool:@ op,Brymo was the first artiste that came to my mind on seeing this thread, followed closely by Sound Sultan. These guys re heavily underrated, apart from Tuface,Nice and some other select few whose songs re evergreen, the orders re just noisemakers who re smiling to the bank because they know that Nigerians still don't know wat good music is all about. |
Turks:And does being gay ve anything to do with political sagacity? I think an homosexual was elected in the recently concluded elections in the U. S. We shouldn't be petty enuf to throw away the baby and the bathwater, being gay is just an appellation, if he truly has wat it takes to lead us, then he should be given the chance provided he's not coming or asking for ur ass to be whipped. I don't like the practise bt if it makes them happy nd they like it, so be it provided they won't come and ask for my ass which can only draw my ire. |
donphilopus:@Donphilus, re u suprised with this observation of urs?? U ve better not be, I mentioned it in one of my responses prior to now. |
KingOvoramwen1:@ king ovoranwen and bornstunner, I won't dignify the two of u with anymore response, I ve clearly made my points, so u either deal with it or quit.... |
donphilopus:It's painful my guy, I am always willing to learn from someone that has something upstairs even with the very little that I know,i guess all those u ve mentioned r now visitors to this site, But wat do we have now, total junks, they claim to know it all and whereas they re truthfully empty... |
