damn tony v just went awol for that goal |
this is where tom c helps us. he would help us retain possession and he recovers faster from higher positions |
afrodoc: no ryan giggs!lol |
Good weekend so far for our loan contingent. Henriquez, Lingard and Macheda all finding the net. Now hopefully the main men do the job today. |
Is that Boris Kodjoe in the 2nd pic? |
giggs is now a member of the backroom. odds are he will self select. better start accepting he will be in the starting lineup. lol |
rvp what Rooney can do, I can do better |
and Rooney has the guts to smile after his wastefulness |
yes we shouldn't under rate bayern, but we don't need to field vidic either. its not like we be calling on Keane or wotton to play in defence. Evans is as experinced and solid as you get for a backup cb and smalling is no newbie either. there is no reason to fear their ability to adjust to whatever leverkusen throw at them. |
this incident occurred in d.c which has some of the strictest gun regulations in the world. the naval base was a gun free zone that didn't allow guns on the base. there was already gun control in place, yet it did not stop this from occurring. yet gun controls is the solution? it is sad that after the fort hood incident more hasn't been done to safeguard military bases. at the least officers should be allowed to carry sidearms. after all they are trained professionals who know just about everything there is to know about handling a weapon. allow them defend themselves rather than have trained pros be sitting ducks if shit hits the fan. |
Moyes and Woodward should stop talking and making us look like muppets. So he is insunuating we had the insanity to bid 100+m for Bale yet were penny pinching and low-balling Everton for Fellaini & Baines, reluctant to pay a premium for Fabregas and unwilling to activate Herrera's release clause, yet would have paid 250+% more than value for Bale. |
god punish you rooney for that wasted opportunity. you dare not try that with saf in charge |
can you imagine hargo showing his ungrateful mug at o.t. lol |
Rooney healed fast, surely he isn't a 100%. Could mean a chance for Januzaj in the 2nd half. Please no Fellaini upfront, we have standards. No Lindegard. No Giggs, even on the bench. Hopefully this means he will play against Leverkusen and hopefully not be involved in the Manchester derby. |
Fellaini laziness is going to be a problem if we play him beside unenergetic, unathletic and static Carrick. He is a player who regularly takes moments off during the game. If he was partnering a Fletcher it wouldn't be a big issue, but alongside Carrick he going to have up his work rate and stamina like Tom C has done since he has been partnering Carrick. It isn't just a matter of utilizing his size or toughness, he is going to have to offset the energy deficiency of partnering Carrick. |
I am having problems with Moyes rather unnecessary chattiness with the press. May be I am being too hard on him considering I have grown accustomed to SAF's more minimalistic and brusque approach at times. It was quite easy to see through the BS regarding his explanations about why we got Fellaini late, and us trying to bring in Baines to cover Evra. I guess I am just going to have to get used to a manager more willing to explain himself publicly. |
Who removed me from goalie. Let Afrodoc, Mr TA, Chamotex, Elampiro be fighting for outfield positions, just leave the gloves to me and guaranteed clean sheet. ![]() |
^^ when did 4 become top? |
Ogbeche77: Joe Hartits been like this now for quite a long while. |
pop champagne, nani has signed a new deal. now all the distraction are out of the way and he can focus on producing results. I can see the return of the real nani who made defenders cry. |
Riccardo to Red Bull. |
it is incorrect to blame moyes for our approach in the transfer period. he is not in charge, Woodward is his boss and the man ultimately responsible for any business done. Moyes identified his targets for Woodward and then he failed to close the deal. This is on Woodward not Moyes. |
welcome Maroune to O.T. not a fan of your acquisition, but I sincerely hope you prove me wrong. |
Coentrao is actually good business if true. £17m less than Baines, younger, more solid defender, who can play in other positions. If he can do well on loan, he could be purchased and Evra moved on. |
I would rather no signings, than Fellaini for anything north of £20m. . |
Pataki: Cheers to the mid-table experience ManU!From champions to mid table after no major departures or signings. Keep dreaming. |
Whatever no time for lamentations, once the season kicked off I suspected we would sign no one or grossly over pay for the Evertonians. Now its time to look at how we navigate the season with what we have got. |
Woodward promotion was silly. I always said the Glazers and the supporters were lucky that at the time they took charge of the club we had a solid structure in place. Brilliant CEO, manager and executive team. Hence they didn't need to make any real changes or significant appointments. Now with the departure of SAF and Gill and others who supported them, their influence and decision making are becoming more prominent and their lack of football acumen is showing. |
Zaha and Nani need to be given opportunities on the wings. Also Fabio should get the nod at right back in Jones absence. We need Valencia to rediscover his wing capabilities, and if we keep playing him at full back he will turn into another Quinton Fortune. |
I guess loaning out Powell means more start for Giggs. Yipee. |
