Nice hopefully Nick Powell stays fit and gets consistent chances in Wigan's central midfield. |
SailorXY: We are not faring well as I expected with less than 2hrs huhNo go give yourself heart attack. |
Man Utd have a bid of £80m plus Nani accepted for Lionel Messi. He finally wants to prove he can "do it on a wet night in Stoke". ![]() |
Some pple will kill themselves ffg the madness that is the last day of the transfer window. ![]() |
giggs off for ando & young off for nani |
The ease with which Jones injures himself making challenges, jumping even running is sad. deficient technical coordination. |
its got to be insanity to be playing a 40 year old in a crucial away derby game. what can he offer that valencia, nani can't. now all the other players are going to have to pick up his slack. giggs must be playing fire in training to keep gettting starts even in key games. |
Fellaini is not what we are looking for. He looks less than average as central midfield. £25m is too much. |
Finally smart moves. Grab De Rossi at a discount and then scout, identify and go in for the main targets next summer if Tom C and co haven't stepped up enough. Any player we try to buy now, we will have to pay an insane premium. Unfortunately Roma won't be too eager after just losing Lamela. But they now have the resources to bring in replacements. |
finally starboard has returned. welcome back. |
I wish the transfer window would close right now. no opportunities for woodward to do something stupid in desperation or the media to keep spinning tall tales |
which one is us bidding for bale. woodward and co. should stop embarassing us with this pillar to post transfer strategy. Though I wouldn't say no to dembele, sandro or sigurdsson if Levy was open to entertaining bids. |
valencia is still looking poor. its time to give zaha a go. also we looked a lot more threatening when welbeck went central. you can complain about his finishing but when welbeck comes into the middle he makes things lively. |
if rooney still wants to leave o.t after the support he received last night, he has real issues, paul stretford's influence or not. I say we open our play up at anfield. ddg, jones, rio, vida, evra, zaha, tomc, carrick, young, welbeck, rvp. in a straight 4-4-2 with plenty of width and pace. |
tom c and carrick are looking gassed, no longer pressing as effectively. maybe time to bring in ando for rooney. |
Young on the right is looking like a consistent feature under Moyes. |
valencia is done when he comes up against decent full backs. unless he has a dynamic fullback like rafael overlappping, his weaknesses are just too obvious. even welbeck looks better than him. |
^ abegi. rio, vida, rvp, carrick and rooney have more than enough experience. no need for a 40 y/o. |
rvp, rooney, chica and welbeck should all be involved tonight as all them have good strike rates against chelsea and always play well against them. personally I would play ddg, jones, rio, vida, evra, tom c, ando, carrick, welbeck, rooney, rvp. so long as wingers are injured why not play a little more versatility. I expect ddg will make another one of his usual jaw dropping stops against chelsea. hopefully it will have a positive impact on the result. |
languys69: Admit it guys, you just get your asss whopped! ![]() |
Well done Frazier. |
Excuses already being prepared. |
might as well play Phil Neville. |
You can spend anything below £12m on purchasing players to fill squad positions but anything above that is unwise. |
Hell no. Why pay a reported £17m for Baines when we have Evra who is still capable. Best case scenario Baines is a mild upgrade. Fellaini doesn't even fit properly into our midfield and Everton want at least £23m. Why will we spend a combined £40m on players just to fill numbers. I would rather we spend 60+m on genuine/confirmed quality rather than desperately over pay for them and then next summer, Woodward and the Glazers start penny pinching after over-paying for average players. We ain't City or Chelsea. This is why I knew things would turn pear shaped when we weren't making moves in June and July, as we have usually done for a long while now. |
I wish the window could close tonight. No way are Baines and Fellaini worth a joint £30m to Manchester United. I can understand why Everton would value them more highly as those 2 carry their team, but from a United perspective they aren't worth what Everton feel they are. |
dademola: stop being ignorant. R u tellin me dt, weneva u see a team play 2 wingers and 2 strikers, na 4;2;4 be dt?? On dt particular nite, nani and park played on d wings, wit ronaldo/tevez upfront. Since rooney didnt play, u cldnt hav watched d match anyways. In d final, CR7 started on d left, hargo on d RHS, wit rooney/tvez upfront. Go n buy a "best of man utd" dvd compilation and watch. I'm done on dis argument.Low blow. ![]() |
What a surprise to see Dademola and Elampiro on opposite sides of a lengthy argument. ![]() |
chamotex: Anybody will do at this time...we are desperate.chamo, weren't you the one urging patience all through the summer. lol |
why over pay for baines, when we can get coentrao who is younger, much better defensively and he wants to leave so won't attract a premium like baines. |
