The less said about how we have chosen to conduct our transfer business this summer, the better. Would have been better if we had simply said that we were comfortable with a young EPL winning side and folded our arms throughout the window, than the unnecessary novice and head scratching approach of Moyes and Woodward.

Most brilliant start to the season we have had was 06/07 was when we thumped Fulham 5 nil at O.T. We were 4 goals up in 45 mins and could have hit about 7 or more if we didn't back off in 2nd half.

If we aren't playing Giggs on the left but behind RVP, we should bring on either Kagawa or Rooney. No doubt both of them are slightly behind on their fitness but they still offer more than Giggs and we need to get them up to speed sharpish. See how we looked a lot more threatening when Welbeck went into the center behind RVP.

Also it seems Moyes has told Evra to be a bit more like Baines.

Moyes needs to show his teeth and not entertain any more baseless Rooney questions from the press. If they want quotes to fill their back pages, they should look elsewhere.

This one that Juventus are trying to grab Janujaz like they did Pogba after turning his head with a big contract. If CR7 is not isn't being signed, we should give him the no.7 that why way he will sign a new contract sharpish.

^^ Heard we only just significantly upgraded the medical facilities and equipment at Carrington this summer for the first time under the Glazer's regime. It was supposedly one of the main reasons why we were always pre-seasoning in the U.S the last few seasons, as Nike's facilities are state of the art. Later some will say the Glazer's ownership strategy has cost this club.

Hopefully it will pay visible dividends this season.

However it seems Mourinho would prefer to let Mata go and keep Oscar

If we let Rooney go, we will absolutely need a replacement for him and Mata is a solid replacement with EPL experience. He can play attacking midfield, behind the striker and is more natural playing left wing/forward unlike Rooney. RVP, Chicha and Welbeck will play as primary strikers and Mata is an upgrade over Rooney's present contributions from midfield or behind the striker.

Not a fan of Oscar and I don't think he fills what we are missing in central midfield. If Chelsea were to offer £15m plus Mata I would take it even though it is a little cheap. Use the money to grab De Rossi to partner Carrick. Then pick up another solid central midfield prospect to cover potential injuries e.t.c.

While both De Rossi and Carrick are both the wrong side of 30, they are at their respective peaks so there will be no growing pains, confusion or lack of consistency as with Tom C, Ando, Powell and the other youngsters. Next summer if Ando amd Tom C haven't shown the necessary improvements, we hit the market early for long term replacements for Giggs and Carrick, as well as look to sign other prospects.
