Yes we have the bandwidth to stream Netflix. Infact, infact I just watched a few mins of beasts of no nation and it didn't even buffer. I think the Netflix app for the iPhone is really optimized for streaming, yet still maintaining the quality.
Righttt. Thanks for the info. I am guess it all boils down to cost of using that bandwidth..

Sir or ma, using trolley at airport is not free everywhere in d world. I live in frankfurt germany and at d frankfurt airport which i must add is d busiest airport in d whole of europe, u av to insert a one or two euro coin into d trolley before it can be unchained for u to use. After using it , u drop it in a rack without getting ur money back.

So stop painting everything in nigeria as bad as if u av bin everywia in d world
Point of Correction

Heathrow is the busiest airport in Europe.

Trolleys are free where i am.

You would think that with the hugh amount of cash that the airlines pay in licensing fees would ensure that travellers have access to trolleys angry

Your theory doesn't check out.

The deal has been on since last year even long before the fine was thought of. This is news now probably because paper work was just completed. Some even say its a merger and not a takeover.
But we dont actually know anything do we? it is the bread crumbs of info that we see, read or hear that we have to go by. so even if as

placed by you, my theory doesnt check out, there has to be some elements of truth in it. Think bout visafone as a contingency plan for MTN.
PhonesRe: MTN Finally Acquires Visafone by moonraker(m): 11:34am On Jan 07, 2016
hmmm a very sneaky business move by mtn..

Conspiracy Theory

Lets see so MTN figures that it wouldnt be able to pay the fine but recognizes that Nigeria is a hugh market

and leaving Nigeria totally will affect them as a company profit wise. so what do they do?

since the NCC havent actually suspended their services, they are still within their rights to continue doing business.

buy out visafone. Move mtn out of the country but still remit profits back to SA, Bravo MTN Anaconda call obey

RomanceRe: About Women Making The First Move. by moonraker(m): 3:41pm On Jan 02, 2016
Oliviaarims:
This notion seems to be trending these days. But pls, before anyone goes about saying it's okay for a woman to make the first move, then perhaps they should also elaborate on what circumstances and the manner in which it should be done. So many girls are being misled already.. And making complete fools of themselves. I witnessed one such event yesterday and I just couldn't help laughing. This girl must have been feeling like a real 21st century chic when she even contemplated making the move. But with the way things turned out, I can bet on my two Di'ja-like-boobs that she's so never going to try that again. Heck, that dude was mean!

Back to my topic. I really don't get why a girl should be encouraged to make the first move. Look at it this way. Wooing a woman is sth that comes very natural to men. It's what they do. It's what they've always done right from time, what reason then has a guy not to make a move on the girl he likes? So this boy and girl know themselves, perhaps not as friends or anything serious, but each knows about the existence of the other. They are perhaps in the same location.. Work in the same place, live in the same neighborhood, attend the same Uni;So, surely they get to see each other from time to time. Why then should it be the girl making a move since she's interested in him? Hasn't he seen her before? If actually he had any interest whatsoever, he'd make the first move. It shouldn't be an issue at all. Girls are used to being wooed.

But he doesn't and some girl would think it's okay for her to make the first move. Trust me, chances are high that he won't take u seriously if ever u should go into a relationship. He'd simply see the whole thing as him doing u a favour by dating u and perhaps getting an advantage for himself if he succeeds in sleeping with you sad. I can't even imagine how u'd feel comfortable being in that relationship. He's most likely always going to be eager to show u the door, because after all, u made the first move on him, when he was just on his own doing his thing. It's just like reversing roles entirely. And IMO, it shows desperation.

And I also thought guys used to enjoy the chase. They want girls to be the ones chasing them now? Lol.

Pls, giving the green light and not playing too hard to get is enough. A man's supposed to know what to do when he sees the green light. If he doesn't, well, that's sad. It simply implies that there are so many things about women he isn't sensitive to.

Call me old-fashioned. I like being old-fashioned if this is what being old fashioned is all about.
I wil be honest... The bolded prompted me to check out your profile... On the contrary, i think they are much bigger...

Rightttt!!! back on topic...

Some Nigeria guys can be insensitive, Period!!!

Third world mentality and shit...

In advanced countries, women dont give a flying fucccccccccck about stuff like that. If they want something, they just go get it, no questions asks...

two examples, back in Uni had this beautiful damsel from Oman ask me out. mind you, i have never been in such a situation like that. i was

freaked but eventually came around... fast forward to 3 days ago, had this really really fine chick from Iran tell something within the ranges

of you can have me if you want shocked We will see how that turns out...

Bottom line is that Nigerians need to move with the tides, lease they get left behind

When I advised that you shouldn't swim in untested waters, you thought that I was joking. Now you see your life.Where in all my posts did I mention that I am a customs officer, let alone being a fake one as you dreamt.
Anyway i don't blame you. There are many of you here who don't seem to know the difference between agencies of government, their functions and their uniforms That's why ignorant persons just like yourself would mistake one agency of government to another, especially when you are in that your so called "harassed and extorted state "
Stop claiming oversabi and take your civic education seriously.Anyway, since I have a concrete evidence that you neither know what colour of uniform the immigration service officials wear nor their functions, I will henceforth as a matter of principle refuse to reply your wails you call quotes.#waillingwailler.
Not trying to start an argument here but if you speak for yourself with regards to this issue, then its fine. different strokes for different folks.

However, It doesnt deter the fact that such a thing as collecting money from passengers coming into the country and bailing out of the country

is still very rampant howbeit, differences in obtaining techniques..

Let me give you a typical example of my case.

So i was in Nigeria back in August. when i was going back to my base, went to customs, my bag was checked and i was asked by a custom

officer to drop something. mind you this guy was on uniform with his name tag,not some bullcrap clothing ( correct me if i am wrong

isnt the customs uniform gray in color??)

Moving on, so i went to the qatar airways to check in, proceeded to immigrations. Every thing was stamped and ready, then the immigration

officer asked me to find him something. he even taught me how to hand over the cash to him (imagine that). Didnt stop there. so i cleared

immigration and i was walking to the nearest lounge, i was stopped by another guy who wasnt on uniform so it was hard to ascertain is true

role at the airport, however when he asked for my passport, i asked for his ID and then he was no long talk, just find me something...

Now you would think that would be the end of that, Noope....

I got to my gate where we were searched and re-searched and to my greatest amazement, i was asked to find them something....

As i type this, i am in so much shock, i am not even sure how to conclude this piece. Here is what i can tell you though, Obtaining does exist.

The good news is that if your papers are in order, then you can some worth stand your ground. I on the order hand cant be arsed to try becos

well, i just cant be arsed...

Landed in Narita Int.

We went to Marita express and took train.

Got ticket to Suidobashi. One from Narita to Tokyo station and the other to Suidobashi.

When we got to Tokyo, I was lost patapata. Saw the only Japanese who could speak English and he helped me out.

He said the Suidobashi train stopped and I have to go through Kunda and ochaomizu at subo line.

On getting to Ochanonizu, no one could speak in English, then I knew I was in for it.

I just walked up a staircase from the underground to the normal ground level.

Not knowing when to turn to, saw this couple and walked up to them telling my predicament. Time now 11:30pm Japanese time.

They couldn't English too well. The guy was trying, but the lady is zero.

Cab man, not fit speak A and B. We had to use car Navigation system to trace Suidobashi in Chiyoda Ku.

These couple had to join me in the cab to lead me to the hotel themselves.

The cab billed me ¥1000 yen from Ochanomizu to Suidobashi. It was the car that calculated the fare on the metre board.

We got to the hotel, I booked from Nigeria via Booking. com and these couple finally said their good bye.

I thanked them a lot and prayed for them.

Moral is that don't enter as a stranger to anywhere in the night, except you have a strong lead
lol told ya... very happy u made it to your hotel in one piece...

Need advice Ooo

Destination, Chiyoda Ku

NRT or HND?

HND flight = 10:45 pm arrival time
Taxi to chiyoda 8000 ¥

NRT flight 7:30pm
Taxi to Chiyoda Ku 24,000 ¥

Which one is cost effective and distance short?
Lol sorry bro... to be honest, your email was perceived as you got everything under control...

With regards to your question, i guess you will have to consider the cost of the ticket....Flying into HND though would be my recommendation

because its in central Tokyo, compared to Narita....

Have you considered taking the bus?? its more cheaper if you ask me

So this thread was brought to my attention by a nairalander. I am not sure what else needs to be said on here. however if anyone has any

questions, you can post it right here and i will do my best to respond.

One thing i must stress though, is that getting the visa from Nigeria is the hard part, going thru the POE is the easy part..

For years, some Nigerians has spoilt our countries name here, especially in Tokyo (Especially the igbos and yorubas). I have no beef against

any of this ethnicities but i am only stating the fact. From pimping ladies on the streets of roppongi, to drugs, etc.

On the flipside, We have serious minded Nigerians here who earn their living the legit way, from oil and gas, education sector, IT sector etc.

There was even a Yoruba guy by the name of Bobby Ologun ( look him on the internet for more information) who was very popular.

Sorry least i forget, knowning the Japanese language is key if you want to succeed here... If you dont know the language, you will be

handicapped seriously....
