If your true intent is to go to Japan via the student route and then jump into something else, Then permit me to state the following points.

1. I know nothing about that.

2. Technically, you will would be breaking the rules and once caught, you will be deported and banned from the country for 10 years or more.

Did you bother to do your own research at all?

First things first, you need to find a Uni. And not just any Uni, a Uni that has exactly what you want. Once you have that, you need to find a professor that would be willing to take you under his wing while studying at that Uni. That is one of the hardest things to get done.

Come back here once you have that figured out.

If he finishes his MSc and opts for the Highly Skilled Visa route, he gets it shortened to 3 years with 70 points and a year with 80 points. It is not a black or white situation.

More easier said than done but ok!

I have plans to study robotics after getting my bsc degree in Nigeria, and I am here to find out from those that have idea on how things go in both countries(Japan and Singapore), with regards to;
1. Cost of living.
2. Where can I get a better degree.
3. My chance of being accepted in their university.
4. My chance of getting a job after graduating.

Please if you have a better suggestions aside the two countries I gave, I am open to learning from you.

I'll tell you what, You need to aim at going to countries like Canada.

Singapore is a No go area.
Japan requires that you learn the language. Not impossible but lol, not as easy as learning french.
