Oh yeah!
Someone on this thread said something about there being success stories on other
threads like the American, UK etc and none here. Although, I didn't get explicit permission to post this info,
I would like to introduce to you all, The first success story of this thread. I call this the first because
this individual would be the first person on here to come all the way from Nigeria, with a job waiting for him.
All papers checked!
@jihday is that individual. I spoke to him via social media and He is alive and healthy. Time permitting, i might pay him a visit.
and maybe post it on here.... |

I know say this Xmas go hot for as we expect boys from Malay, indo, Philippines, Cambodia and Vietnam Las las, your people do drugs in those countries. How many times have we heard Nigerians getting caught in those countries for drug related offences. Or did you suddenly forget how Indonesia killed a bunch of people via firing squad, that included a Nigerian ? |

Nigeria has its challenges and corruption is number 1 on that list. I know where your coming from. But my next answer will shock you. TSTV had more chances to succeed compared to you. Hear me out . The Satellite TV industry is controlled by a foreign organization, backed by Nigerians and South Africans. In business, you dont step on the competition. You simply navigate your own route to over take over the market or create a market balance. Let me ask you this question, did you approach your target as an individual with a solution or as a registered company?? if you did the first one, then that is was your problem. |

BuBU taking the piss as usual.
Look lets say it as it is.
I do not blame BUBU for the current Nigerian situation.
What Nigeria is going through right now is the result of bad leadership from the past.
What I blame Bubu for is the lack of ideas. He was suppose to stabilize the sinking ship.
Now it looks like that ship is further sinking. |

ZAWs: Yes these are the actual words some of you understands. He has endlessly come out to clear the air, but some of you who had little or no business idea won't still stops talking. Is it not clear that some high profile individual sitting on the success of TSTV? why has DSTV remained so powerful in Nigeria still? Well, i pray the young man succeeds, and put all the enemies to shame. The bolded are very good points. But i have something to counter all of that. Business 101 Questions. What makes you different from the competition? How do you stay relevant inspite of the competition? TSTV would have succeeded if they planned properly. Lets forget all that bullshit about people sitting on what or what not. The reason TSTV failed is that they failed to plan properly. Contingency plans are necessary in business. If you ask me, I will tell you that they were looking to make quick bucks and eventually disappear. The BEIN SPORTS they were offering was in farking ARABIC. Yeah you read that right ARABIC. if they truly truly had the correct rights, BEIN SPORTS will work with them to provide the English version or whatever. Ask yourself this question, apart from the sports thingy they were offering, what other stuff was being advertised. The fake 100gb internet bandwidth? Access to movies still in the cinema?? What?? Both illegal btw. Same thing happened to HITV. They thought that by offering football, all will be well. What?? Most Nigerian businesses are shortsighted. No Projections, no ambitions, no nothing. It all about making the money in 2, 3months. The Microsofts and Apples of this world, do you honestly believe that if they had the Nigerian Mentality, they would still be in business?? Facebook started from a school dorm Apple started from a garage. In conclusion, TSTV failed because they failed to have a business structure in place. They thought they could deceive Nigerians and bail. Some will come on here and say stuff like DSTV is milking Nigerians. lol what?? Milking or whatever anyone calls it is a sign that an organization has its nuts together. They have managed to stay relevant since the days of Multichoice. Where is AIT? Minaj? DBN? or even ABG? Where are they today?? Stop displaying your ignorance for everyone to see, please... In the words of my current favorite rapper Lil Baby: Brand New whip got no keys, wa wa wa bitch Im a baby.. |

TGM2015: You may be right but the post to which I replied was not on TSTV in particular but on who are/is the real threat to survival of business owned by Nigerians who are in the same industry with their foreign counterparts. Hope you got that. And by the way, the first word and use of words in your post shows how cultured you are and direction of your thinking faculty.
Hope you check the post above you? Omowe. I get you point. And if you noticed, That was the first thing i acknowledged before going on a self Tantrum on how (well to put it quite lightly) Silly, The TSTV staff and organization as a whole are frauds. I didnt go touch the areas you talked about in your post because well, frankly speaking, There wasnt anything to add. I am puzzled by your response to me though. I have absolutely no idea if your trying to troll or scold me. |

TGM2015: From the reply, he says Nigerians and not Nigeria Government. At second thought, if what you wrote is true, the examples of Shell and Chevron have invalidate your assertion. The real problems of Nigerian business people are Nigerians who promote foreign products than locally made one. Even the so call made in Nigeria advocates have over 80% of their thing including education from Abroad. Bingo. Your head is in the right place. Sorry but TSTV is MMM until proven otherwise. The red flag started from the illegal way they showed Bein Sports in their lineup and then later took it off lol. Like are they farking retarded? I remember when they started making noise. They had some of their thugs on here and I did my best to warn anyone willing to listen, to stay clear off TSTV. Their story didnt match up, plus the technology they were deploying was pure suspect. Gerrard59: How is this possible? I can remember the laws and procedures stated on the MoFA website. According to the stated laws, it's a crime to change from one visa permit to another while in the country e.g. From tourist to working visa.
Resident permit implies he had a job before leaving Nigeria or got employed after studies while in Japan (which he must change from his/her student visa). You, My friend, have the correct information. It has always been the case. |

Like I said my friend got his papers in Nigeria, migrated to Japan , got a factory work and his OK now, also have some that got resident permit on their 8months of stay, once u pass POE in Japan avoid major cities. Don't understand y this guy called me a clown.. Is OK thanks My apologizes. Me calling you a clown wasnt me trying to degrade or insult. I really am sorry. The truth is that i live here. I have been here for 14 years and counting. Your friend is either lying to you or is in the country illegally. This is the gospel truth. As a NIGERIAN, coming all the way from NIGERIA, you CANNOT change from a visiting visa to a working visa. It is simply not possible. Again, I am sorry I called you a clown. But your story did not add up one bit. Japanese Immigration dont Bleep around. I once witness an American lady getting deported. She had a valid working visa and all that but she lost her job. Now the rule is, once you lose your job, you have about 3months to get a new one or gtfo. In 3 months, the American lady wasnt able to secure a job that was related to her Visa status. One morning, boom, ICE came in and took her to the airport. Just like that. |
