To be fair, Sri-lanka isnt known for christianity. It is a Buddhist nation. Simply going to church does not qualify an individual to be christian. Now with that being said, The tone in the response to both incidents is definitely noticeable. 4 Likes 1 Share |

wetdick: There is a bigger picture here which you fail to see. Stop seeing things from a common man`s perspective. Harvard only take in a special specie of students 1. Highly Connected 2. Alumi 3. Brainacks. Harvard will not let you graduate until you meet a certain standard. So your talk of good grades is null. Again, your line of though is shocking. You will never EVER see someone from harvard, apply for a job, they know nothing of. I do get where you are coming from though. There are people out there who go to schools in Russia, Cyprus bleh and expect to command jobs easily. I am not for that. I am against that. Bottom line is education abroad is still miles ahead of what is currently available in Nigeria. |

wetdick: Hmmm Its not about deserving the best jobs. Its more of knowing what you are worth as an individual and commanding those jobs. If i studied at Harvard and i decide to come back to Nigeria, you dont think i should command the jobs i want? The ideas you speak of: does it include the ideas related to making Nigeria a better place? Because I am positive that Nigeria could learn a thing or two from the White people. Unrelated: How is it possible that a building or a project that could take a few months to complete in a developed country, that same project would take several years and still end up not being complete? Or how is it that National Universities in developed countries can guarantee (Pending good grades) that a student will graduate in 4 years but that cannot be said for Universities in Nigeria? Oh and my favorite one, MMIA airport: was built when again? We are in 2019 and well, if you look hard enough, you can still see tech from the yester years. Oh well, what do i know. |

This is all cock and bull. Slighty unrelated rant ahead...... What is the use of having an embassy when you can even process a passport renewal? Embassy of Nigeria, Tokyo is a massive joke and a laughing stock. Basically, You cannot renew or process a renewal at this embassy, if you live in Japan that is. Your options are: 1. Shanghai, China - Guess what? We cant get in, unless on business. 2. Malaysia: lol good luck getting Malaysian Visa. To be fair, it isnt as bad as China. 3. Fly to New York?: Well, We all know what the embassy there is like. 4. Just go back to Nigeria: Andddddd we are back to square one of the necessity of an Embassy. No guarantees of getting it in adequate time except ofcourse you do Oluwole. |

CityNGR: Another clown on the loose. Do you honestly believe that typing all CAPS MAKES YOU SMART. STOP THAT RUBBISH PLEASE. First things first, lets say it as it is, Everywhere is hot and Nigeria isnt on the same level of South Africa. Forget all that giant of Africa bullcrap. Nigeria can barely boast of 24 hour electricity, yet you want advance trains. |

Moferere: You dont mean it? Look lets just say it as it, Everywhere is hot and maintenance is a two way street. Yes, The government should make sure that there are maintenance measures in place. Please look at the "After" pics again. You see the calibre of people in those pics right? Market women, okada riders, etc. I am willing to bet my last dime that those people in the pic dont give a flying mess on their environment. Clean or not. For Christ sake, this is a place you make your daily bread and you cant even be arsed to make it clean? You want government to help you clean your own mess? absolute bollocks. Nigeria has a Maintenance problem but if its citizen cant even be arsed to take care of their environment, then I cant blame the government for not being arsed either. There is only so much that the government can do and this gentlemen and ladies, isnt one of them. The dwellers, Okada riders, bus drivers, Market women and men are to blame for the state of that bridge. Period. P.S: Dont quote me unless you feel your response makes sense. Sankyu everyone |
Family / Re: Bride Price Collection Is Big Business In Some Parts Of Nigeria (Pics) by moonraker(m): 5:05am On Feb 05, 2019 |
Here's my take on the issue. As long as the lady is question hasn't been whoring around, then she is worth it. Problem is, people take advantage of it to squeeze as much as they can from the bridegroom, which to me is a total NO NO. You have to give it up to the developed countries though. Aint nobody got time for that shit. Paying huge bride price doesn't necessary guarantee that the woman will stay with you forever. Africans, especially Nigerians just like to take advantage of tradition when its best suits them. 3 Likes |

Sorry but Australia is a waste land itself. Even Australians dont want to live in Australia. Australians are generally lazy, they expect to be spoon fed when there arent shit. They behave as if their shit can make patty. All in all, This is a classic case of a kettle calling a pot "Black" 1 Like |
Religion / Re: If Hell Truly Exists, Then God Is Not Only Evil, He's Also Incompetent by moonraker(m): 1:31pm On Jan 06, 2019 |
XxSabrinaxX: Look at it this way. First things first, God did not create hell. Satan did! He was the first specie to be sent there after messing up in heaven. SO therefore, If Lucifer wasnt arrogant, then there would be no hell or evil in this world. This was why later on in the new testament, Jesus came to this world to cleanse of all of our previous sins while creating a new measure to make sure that Humans have a choice. A choice to choose life or death. God has designed everything so well to the extent that there are fail safe measures. This is where freewill comes in. You get to choose. The information is out there. Follow this route, you go to heaven, do the opposite, hell it is. God knowing fully well that humans arent perfect as a result of evil, created contingency measures, If you fall or sin, you still have the choice to repent from your sins... God is not evil, period. |
