But he is intellectually sound - there you have it.

It takes an intelligent person to write and sell over 10 million books in his life time(apart from pirated copy)

It takes an intelligent person to attract loyal church members from Ikoyi, Lekki, Ajah to join him in worship in Ota, Ogun state(a place with bad roads)despite tons of awesome, amazing churches like(daystar, house on the rock, elevation) along the way.

It takes an intelligent man to be one of the top 10 most prominent clerics in a country with a crowded field of about 200,000 clerics.

It takes an intelligent person to gather 400,000 worshippers under tutelage. If you say the Church is a business, then you must agree with me that one person gathering 400,000 customers in any sector takes a large chunk of the market share.

It takes an intelligent person to provide his church city with 24/7 light since 1999. A feat your govt has not been able to achieve for its own Nation's capital.

It takes an intelligent man to have created a university barely 20 years of age, now highly rated than over 70 years old University of Ghana and even UI.

You still want more

All true points.

Guess the issue here is where do you draw the line between being a cleric and being a business man.

Respect to Liverpool! Coming from a Chelsea fan. They were underdogs, completely written off-No Salah (their star man), No Firmino. 3 goals down against the “almighty Barcelona”. What a feat!

I’m extremely happy that Messi didn’t get to the final tongue, else he would have easily won the Ballon d’or. As a Ronaldo fan, it’s soothing to see Messi out of contention to win the Champions league, else he would have had an edge over Ronaldo.

Respect to liverpool but Chelsea did it better. Right in their backyard....

To be fair, Sri-lanka isnt known for christianity. It is a Buddhist nation.

Simply going to church does not qualify an individual to be christian.

Now with that being said, The tone in the response to both incidents is definitely noticeable.

I'm sorry for my poor English and Sorry for say this.
Japanese women are human like Nigerian peoples. Not tool for stay in Japan.

I saw talking about marry Japanese women on here. If someone already in love with Japanese woman and planning marry with her, I can understand that. But what I saw it on here is like if someone wanna stay in Japan come to student Visa or working Visa, then get(marry) Japanese women. Sounds like not talking about love. I'm very sad.
I'm sorry for if I'm misunderstanding that.
But why someone wanna come to Japan for study or working, already talking about spouse Visa? When peoples will come and fall in love with Japanese woman, they will apply for that when time will come. Fake marriage is crime in Japan.
Please don't think about marry with Japanese woman for Visa. Please.
Marriage is supposed to be for love, not for Visa. If someone will do that(for just Visa), will put bad name for Nigerian peoples. That is very bad and sad.

I never mean to insulting. But if I made someone feel so bad, I'm very sorry and if I'm misunderstanding, I'm very sorry.

so because, you studied in Harvard, we should just give you a job without checking if your grades are good or if the course you studied is relevant, dude, that is pure entitlement mentality. Nobody is entitled to anything, you have to prove yourself first before we can take you seriously.

cultures learn from each other, but how come we only learn all the ideas that will take us further to destruction and hate, ideas that will put us in big troubles and destabilise a nation.

There is a bigger picture here which you fail to see.
Stop seeing things from a common man`s perspective.

Harvard only take in a special specie of students

1. Highly Connected
2. Alumi
3. Brainacks.

Harvard will not let you graduate until you meet a certain standard.
So your talk of good grades is null.

Again, your line of though is shocking. You will never EVER see someone from harvard, apply for a job, they know nothing of.

I do get where you are coming from though. There are people out there who go to schools in Russia, Cyprus bleh and expect

to command jobs easily. I am not for that. I am against that. Bottom line is education abroad is still miles ahead of what is currently

available in Nigeria.

This is not a hate speech but a good rant. if you like comment, it is not by force.

I am tired of you guys especially many of you that call yourself Nigerians, the moment you step feet abroad, your next ambition is to be a social justice warrior and a fan of liberal ideas of equality and all sorts of ideology that are unrealistic or goes against the African cultures, you are easily manipulated and easily deceived by western cultures then you start bashing anything Nigerian or African especially many of our women, things are not perfect here but once you land in that western countries suddenly, you became aware of rights and some fancy political ideas that will destroy mankind. let's think about this for a moment, wherein nature is there equality? i am for equal opportunities but that should not mean you will get everything on a platter of gold, even among men where is the equality, you guys become so extreme that political correctness is your logo, nobody can say their opinion without being called a misogynist, of what purpose is a discussion if everything ends in abuse.

Some of you guys are bringing what you learnt abroad here into our society, disrupting social norms and creating more divide and hate, just last year there was a protest in yaba by women who claimed they are fighting against sellers who drag or touch them when they want to buy something in the market, I laugh when I saw the protest, I know one of your agents was there among you protester(the white woman who is brainwashing you guys), is it not funny that the main culprits of sexual harassments and molestations are the big men in high places, in offices, the man that will call you to hotels before he can give you a job, you guys didn't take your fight and protest to them because you know most of you will lose your job or lose their friendships, the easier target to show your guilt and frustration is the poor seller selling in yaba. I am so happy they laughed at you guys

I hope you guys will change, universities in the western world are turning to brainwashing centers where strange ideologies are taught instead of education, on campuses, nobody wants to hear other people viewpoint, sometimes the professor makes it seems like, as a black man or woman, the system is against you, which is not true, they are programming you to be a loser, not to work hard, to blame the white man, to blame the system instead of taking responsibility for yourself. some of these Nigerians studying in western universities are so brainwashed that when they come to Nigeria, they think everybody is out to get them especially when they fail, i hope one day you see through this madness.

Just because you saw all the materialism of the western world doesn't mean we in Africa are stupid, we need to protect our culture and heritage. the western world is trying their best to destroy our culture and identity, so that we can accept anything, once you destroy a man culture and identity, you can indoctrinate him or her just like what they are doing in the west especially in America, i hope we will open our eyes and see what these type of people and their agents are doing here. some of you are indirectly and directly their agents. pls, wisen up, if your idea can not help lift millions of Nigerians from poverty, pls keep your divisive and hate ideas in your pocket and don't think you are better than Nigerian here because you are living abroad.

some of you when you are back in Nigeria suffer from returnee syndrome, thinking you deserve the best jobs and opportunity because you studied abroad.

Hmmm
Its not about deserving the best jobs.
Its more of knowing what you are worth as an individual and commanding those jobs.

If i studied at Harvard and i decide to come back to Nigeria, you dont think i should command the jobs i want?

The ideas you speak of: does it include the ideas related to making Nigeria a better place? Because I am positive that

Nigeria could learn a thing or two from the White people.

Unrelated: How is it possible that a building or a project that could take a few months to complete in a developed country, that same project would take several years and still end up not being complete?

Or how is it that National Universities in developed countries can guarantee (Pending good grades) that a student will graduate in 4 years but that cannot be said for Universities in Nigeria?

Oh and my favorite one, MMIA airport: was built when again? We are in 2019 and well, if you look hard enough, you can still see tech from the yester years.

Oh well, what do i know.

This is all cock and bull.

Slighty unrelated rant ahead......

What is the use of having an embassy when you can even process a passport renewal?

Embassy of Nigeria, Tokyo is a massive joke and a laughing stock.

Basically, You cannot renew or process a renewal at this embassy, if you live in Japan that is.

Your options are:

1. Shanghai, China - Guess what? We cant get in, unless on business.

2. Malaysia: lol good luck getting Malaysian Visa. To be fair, it isnt as bad as China.

3. Fly to New York?: Well, We all know what the embassy there is like.

4. Just go back to Nigeria: Andddddd we are back to square one of the necessity of an Embassy.

No guarantees of getting it in adequate time except ofcourse you do Oluwole.

Look lets just say it as it, Everywhere is hot and maintenance is a two way street.

Yes, The government should make sure that there are maintenance measures in place.

Please look at the "After" pics again. You see the calibre of people in those pics right?

Market women, okada riders, etc. I am willing to bet my last dime that those people in the pic

dont give a flying mess on their environment. Clean or not. For Christ sake, this is a place you make

your daily bread and you cant even be arsed to make it clean?

You want government to help you clean your own mess? absolute bollocks.

Nigeria has a Maintenance problem but if its citizen cant even be arsed to take care of their environment, then I cant blame the

government for not being arsed either.

There is only so much that the government can do and this gentlemen and ladies, isnt one of them. The dwellers, Okada riders,

Here's my take on the issue. As long as the lady is question hasn't been whoring around, then she is worth it.

Problem is, people take advantage of it to squeeze as much as they can from the bridegroom, which to me is a total NO NO.

You have to give it up to the developed countries though. Aint nobody got time for that shit. Paying huge bride price doesn't

necessary guarantee that the woman will stay with you forever. Africans, especially Nigerians just like to take advantage of

Religion / Re: If Hell Truly Exists, Then God Is Not Only Evil, He's Also Incompetent by moonraker(m): 1:31pm On Jan 06, 2019
XxSabrinaxX:
This is my first thread on NL. I've noticed how passionate people on these religion forums are when matters like these are brought. So i just felt like i should try my hand at debating on NL.

Hell is a horrible idea. If God truly thinks that our “freewill” based on a limited time on earth means most of us have to live in a “hell” forever, then
yes, he’s evil, and terribly insane. However, i also want to add that if hell actually exists, then the cold truth is that ultimately, most of the human race is going there. Some Christians like to downplay this. It’s an undeniable fact if we applied Christian theology, there's really no debate.
This not only makes God evil, but portrays Satan as a smarter, more efficient presence amongst man, resulting in Satan winning his purpose over Jesus.
Jesus came to earth to save mankind. Judging by the kind of lives we live, i think its safe to say that God has been highly incompetent in making man see the truth.

Look at it this way. First things first, God did not create hell. Satan did!
He was the first specie to be sent there after messing up in heaven.

SO therefore, If Lucifer wasnt arrogant, then there would be no hell or evil in this world.

This was why later on in the new testament, Jesus came to this world to cleanse of all of our previous sins

while creating a new measure to make sure that Humans have a choice. A choice to choose life or death.

God has designed everything so well to the extent that there are fail safe measures.

This is where freewill comes in. You get to choose.

The information is out there. Follow this route, you go to heaven, do the opposite, hell it is.

God knowing fully well that humans arent perfect as a result of evil, created contingency measures,

If you fall or sin, you still have the choice to repent from your sins...

God is not evil, period.
