jane05: sorry for derailing from d matter but y do guys always say dey loved too much...y not find out y ur lover stopped loving u...ohhhh chim oooooLol becos I love you is the most mis used word in Nigeria. It Is a country where being a maga is quite normal. |
Apparently, according to spanish media, the dude underwent a stress and physical test at the Ergodinámica Clinic in Barcelona on Wednesday. |
Lol you got me ![]() Impressive. Wait!!! are you pondering what i am pondering?? |
dadaic: Lol.. People are funny. What'sapp started recently and it sure has grabbed a lot of attention. A classic disruptive idea as I will put it. How do they make money!! Simple, when it all started, it was free, which you and I downloaded, and we all know it started in 2009, so everyone who used in 2009, two years later, they have to pay 99 cents, another 3 years later, you pay $1.99, they do not need advertising neither do they need to advertise their market. They depend on public mouth. The site itself is built just with $10, they don't depend on heavy budget. Judging from the users of the app, over 100 million subscribers has been using since it started, now imagine how much they would have made, or are still making. The problem is people are wanting to purchase the app from it's owners making it difficult for instant messaging to be free. Well, only if it's bought. You don't need to advertise to make cash, as long as your idea is good, public mouth will make you rich only by the number of people viewing or downloading such app. Hope I have been able to help. Check the Nasdaq charts and see how their peak period has been, and you will understand what I am saying.Wrong. When whatsapp came the the App Store, it was a paid app. Fast forward to now. It is free for those people who paid for the application. |
Don't know about others but whatsapp is technically not free. After the one year trial is over, you have to pay. There is another app called LINE. They sell stickers and emotions etc. |
viperman:@ viperman Thanks for enlightening me that. However you an experienced car dealer such as yourself, you are now implying that as a car gets older, The net worth goes down?? Albeit not so dramatic. I kinda blame the OP though. Why in Gods name would you advertise such a car here, knowing fully well the calibre of Nigerians on this Site. |
Alight everyone calm down. Maybe fanex didn't direct his message properly. Here's the deal though. This car net worth when bought brand new MIGHT be around 50m. However I feel that the OP should taking into consideration the amount of depreciation on the car to determine the final price. For example this is a 2007 car so it is approximately 6 years old. The mileage, wear and tear. Etc In the end, from my own stand point, net worth of this car should be between 25~30m ( subject to inspection) |
DJDOLA: If am d girl I will break ur head joinOoh sharap. It is not a must to comment, you knw? @ all Women are funny. you tell them the truth, you receive two slaps and a broken tablet. You dont tell them the truth and somehow the truth pops out from somewhere, you still receive a handing down ![]() |
Lol as mystikal would put it " what the f do you mean your in your period, you can give me no love" |
crazymommy: U see some nigerians earning 35000 naira monthly, they are not living a comfortable life, they are not living in a good apartment, they have no good savings on their bank account, they have no form of investment, they can't eat even two times a day comfortably, still living with parents inside a room apartment, sit down at the bus-stop to get a 100 naira brt bus just to get to his or her destination since there is no money,he is clocking 37 years old and not yet married and when they ask him the reason he is not married he said he is not financially okay, his parents are poor, his siblings don't even have money to pay their school fees and even he himself is living in poverty but the same person goes ahead and buy a smart phone of 80k just to feel among and after they say they are suffering in nigeria after they start saying poverty is controlling their life, why won't they suffer when they think like a fool, instead of them to use the money they have to see how they can use it to have a better life they are busy buying a smart phone of 80k that even the people producing the phones some of them don't even use it,am not saying getting a smart phone is bad but what am saying is spend ur money on the most important things in ur life before u even think of spending it on a smart phone, currently am using a samsung s4,by this time last five years i was just using a phone of 10000 naira because i know there are some more important things i need to use the money for,and now that am comfortable and i already have some good investment financially and also have acquired some certain things like properties and so on, so now i can buy any kind of smart phone i want even if its 200kIs that really you in the profile picture? |
Funny enough i cant relate to the various experiences on this thread. however, i do remember two incidents that when i think of it right now, i was just plainly ignorant. Incident 1 landed in Osaka Japan after a 35 hr flight frm lagos, couldnt read shit back then so with my heavy luggage, i stepped on the escalator (first time), well to my embarrassment, i and my luggage tumbled down the moving escalator. everyone around were just laughing. Incident 2 In singapore, trying to get to Sentosa from orchard road, could not locate the nearest MRT so i decided to take a cab. tried waving down cabs but they would not stop. When one eventually stopped, i grabbed the door handle and went into the cab. The taxi guy told me to Bleep out and join the line waiting for taxis. I was embarrassed and angry. oh well you live and you learn. |
@ OP Thank you for taking the time out to post the videos and pictures. I think this is exactly what you should hv done right from the on set instead of engaging people on here in arguements. Once again, thank you. |
youngbilly1: am sorry about the fool word!!! I don't have the S4 anymore, its my friends i guess he has returned it back. Later i'll post photos of the os if i can get a hold of it again. Sincerely i can't tell the fake from the original, but i knew there was something fishy about the fake version with the screen quality and the camera quality, but i tell you bro the os is the same as the original, i went to samsung office at ikeja shopping mall, the lady was shocked, she typed the imei no on her computer before she could know its the fake versionDo you now see y i asked for fotos? If you claim that it is difficult to differenciate btw the real and fake, then posting fotos on here will help others here. |
Andyforte: Samsung is JapaneseKorean. Take note. |
youngbilly1: i know what am saying bro, its like a movie made in nigeria and pirated in nigeria thats just the simple example. Samsung is made in korean but the pirated version also is made in KOREA! not china. You haven't seen the fake thats why you talking like this, i say again both the fake and authentic looks the same!!Ok then |
youngbilly1: I wonder whats wrong with some nigerian you tell them something they talk another trash, i said even the brand new that are sold in ikeja some of it are fake!the real and clone are sold for the same price at ikeja. ANYONE WHO WANNA BUY A SAMSUNG PHONE GOTO THEIR DEALER AND GET IT, we are all learned here goto youtube watch the comparism, lately i got to know even apple product have their fake one just gotta be careful getting a smart phone now. Samsung is made in korean but some unlicenced people make a clone and resell to people. Same with apple product not all component of an iphones was made in america, some were made in asia and i "guess" samsung company dose some of there part probably the screen. Am done talking anybody who wanna yield to advice should yield any mr or mrs knowall can take their smartass to get a fake. Happy nu year.Young man, you need to calm. No one is criticizing you on the information you provided. You mentioned and I quote that some of the s4s sold at ikeja are Korean made. Maybe you meant to say Chinese? Here's the deal. Samsung is a Korean company, there is a Korean variant of the s4 which is LTE only. So maybe you want to clarify that first? We all know that there are knock offs of every product everywhere and that is why I asked you for pictures so that we can try to identify the Difference btw the original and the fake. Nairaland is a sharing forum. If you have info, share it to create awareness. Sorry if I came off skeptic. |
youngbilly1: Am suprised no one or company is to be trusted in Nigeria, a friend of mine was at ikeja and bought a used Samsung S4 at Affordables Phone,i gave him my trust about the company but to my suprised they sold him fake korea S4 for N65k. On getting there for a refund we couldn't get a refund but we picked another phone. My friend, no pictures, no case, period! |
Seun: This is known as profit. You pay a little bit more for the benefit of getting the phone earlier.Thank you. People should be educated enough to know that there is no business without profit. Albeit the profit margin is on the high side. |
SimonAndal: _C'mon man, your brighter than this. Stop displaying your ignorance in public. |
Truckpusher: You've not answered the question my friend.......And I have answered. Re- read my response again. Or do u have something in mind? |
Truckpusher: You've not answered my question............Frankly speaking? Nothing. Apparently in Nigeria, everything goes. Once again, Nigerians don't know any better so there would be no one challenging the govt about what is right or wrong. For the money spent, I think it safe to say that much is expected? |
taharqa: Reali?? You mean the same Pics the @OP posted on d 1st page, right?? Or, are we seeing diff Pics or smtin??Funny how you picked that particular part of my argument. Now tell me. When was the last time you were at MMIA? |
Good question. Unfortunately, with all due respect to Nigerians, they don't know any better. This is why they are easily swayed by little things like this. |
Truckpusher: You're right, but given the fact that successive govt. over years has left almost 90% of our infrastructure in the country in a moribund state ,would it have been a wiser idea to ask them to tear down the existing airports pending whenever they are willing build a state-of-the-art airport like that of Dubai or simply accept what we have , whilst asking for improvement and expansion?Hmmmm ![]() Y you do raise a very important point, that doesn't dismiss the fact that Nigerians deserve better. Do you know how Dubai airport started? Or even doha? I don't expect a miracle overnight but if your going to build something, build something decent. Judging from those pics, that ain't decent. Sorry. |
Lady and gentlemen. Let's stick to the topic at hand shall we? The arguments are getting boring. Now if you ask me, I will tell you that under good governance, Nigeria would have been a superpower. Dubai is a classic case of rags to riches. MMIA is unacceptable, even with the renovations. Nigerians deserve better than this. I for one will not praise this. It's too bad that Nigerians are use to managing everything and then singing praises when the government give them snippets of their basic amenities? Wonderful. ![]() |
Mr Seun, iOS dev here. Contact me if you need to create a naira land iPhone app. |
Sagamite: You are a person! How did I miss this thread. Sagadi baba is in the building Mr person ![]() |
Op why do good girls like bad guys? Answer me that. Maybe just maybe if you figure out the answer to that question, you will figure out the rest. |
hypocrites |
True story but even at its present state, this airport has the potential of being much better than MMIA. |
