got my mum an iphone 3gs and my dad a blackberry bold 2,

they are not getting any younger but still they still knw whats

in vogue and whats not,

There are three things that i think are the reasons for such high fares

1. Relations btw the governments of these countries that have national carriers is not soo strong

2. High landing licence fees by the FAAN

3. Just Pure Discrimination,

Competion is not even an issue,  we have so many foreign airliners that can carry peeps from wherever

they are to nigeria and back,  Emirates, Qatar, MEA, BA, KLM, Aif france, Alitalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Egypt, Iberia, etc,

If u think that i am wrong, pls try checking out KIX-LOME and KIX-LOS on Air France and see the hugh difference in the air prices,

one would have though that since we were colonist of britain, we would at least get soome discount of some sorts,  but hey we dont

even have a government that works, president is MIA, go figure,

I am not based in nigeria,

I dont live in nigeria, she is based in nigeria,

she actually understands where i am heading to, if yu look at my first post, i stated that i have been trying to

convince her for the past 6years, we went to same high school so its not someone i just saw on the streets of lagos. i am based in japan.

I am sorry if i gave u the perception that i havent made a move on her yet becos i have. its like a national anthem,

Ok heres the deal,

I ve got a an old high school mate who i have been trying to get for 6years now,

she knows my intentions and she also shares same feelings as i. under normal

circumstances, she would agree to get serious with but for one issue, DISTANCE,

I was in nigeria few days back on official duties and i was opportunited to meet

her on two occasions, i tried to convince her that we could work something out

but no show,

i guess i hoping that i could come in and we could get down to serious business,

P.S she has met my family already, havent met hers yet,

My question is should i let her be or shd i continue to try to make her understand??

will i be wasting my time??

Firstly, my system specs are as follows


Processor: Core 2 Duo T9600 2.8ghz  (O C @ 2.9ghz)

Ram: 4GB DDR2

Graphics: Ati Mobility Radeon HD 4650 (1GB DDR3) (OC @ 675/800)

Hard disk:  320GB 7200rpm

Screen Resolution: 16.0 Brightview 1366X768


Anyways, i play games like NFS Shift, Crysis, Street fighter 4, MW2 @ Medium and MAXXED setting with my

full resolution ofcourse,  but when i play Fifa 10, the highest resolution i can select is 1280 by 768. even at

that resolution, i cant play in full screen. there are black lines on the side

Has anyone come across this problem?? is there a fix??

Ok heres the deal, in other for you to use the mtn network, zain or anyother network in nigeria

with yur iphone 3g or 3gs, you need to install a custom ipcc on your phone, this ipcc file in question

has all the information you need for a particular network to browse and send MMS from your iphone,

how the heck do you get one?? well search on this forums, i made on last year which peeps like TeX

benefited from, if you need one for for zain or eti, pls let me know, ofcourse the other way would be

googling it yourself but you got to be careful, on mistake in the ipcc file and yur browsing is toast,

You need to tweak yur utorrent, your upload speed should not be higher than yur download speed,

assuming the total bandwidth is 3mb/s, this means yur upload speed should be something like 100kb/s.

if you dont knw how to imput the figures, just let me knw, will help you,
