Abuse every team all you want but leave me and my Hornets alone. They are having a horrible post-regular season period. I know they deserve to go home. Thanks for pointing that out but contrary to your point, I think I San Antonio Spurs are going before us. I hope Dallas destroys them tomorrow.

My dearest J-girl is not too late to join in the lakers bandwagon like the rest of us. The whole world knows they taking it this year, if I was to be in Vegas right now all my money would go on the lakers
I refuse to join the Lakers bandwagon! What kind of supporter would I be if I abandoned my western team for another.
King James for MVP! They are taking it this year. Mo Williams, Ilgauskas, Varejao and Delonte West allllllllllllllll the way.  cheesy cheesy cheesy

First team to go - DETROIT PISTONS
Second team to go - UTAH JAZZ.

The Jazz are getting it handed to them tonight, the most have been drinking all that salt water from the great salt lake in Utah.
LMAO! Y'all are so negative. My team was beaten 121 - 63 today. That's the reason for my extreme optimism for you guys.

I'm laughing my head off at Jazz - they wanna go home in style. They are not even playing well - that's the sad part of it all.

Dear you must not know Carl Marlon, on the court his good I agree, but you should see him be interviewed. He is one pompous arrogant Son of a B. Reminds you of Charles Barkley growing up.

True the Marvs are doing OK now but I never put my chips on those @ss monkeys, they only make it to the top, and when it comes down to the finals the never know how to close. I'm for the Lakers this year phonk the Mavs angry
Carl Marlon is an interesting character. LOL! I love my Charlie, jare. His mouth has put him in so much trouble. It's hilarious.

I am supporting your team. You better join me. I think y'all would get to second round and MAYBE defeat the Nuggets.

That's nice - Happy to have you here. I dey ooooo. Tired but I'm cool.

What has Carl done to you? LOL! That's hilarious. I want Jazz to at least get a second game (though that might probably never happen). You should be supporting Dallas Mavs now. At least they are doing y'all proud.

It's such a good thing that my friend and I decided not to go again. I'm looking at the scores and the scores are 118-63 with about one minute left. This is simply ridiculous. Newayz, I still love them. I can officially support Cavs and Mavs this season. As for everyone else, good luck . I wish my Hornets quick recovery for next season.

For where? Trust them now, they have been explaining it to me since Saturday. Apparently, the penalty shattered the confidence of the useless spurs so it's the penalty that created the four other goals.

Whichever, it's all good - It's a game of the past. Everyone should move on because no one is about to change the scores of the game.

Beautiful girls with make up are also pretty without because make up does nothing but underline your nice features. A girl who doesn't possesses notable features is likely to remain plain even after a ton of make up.
Not really. Some girls are hideous without make up. I have seen it happen before. Make up changes a girl totally, trust me on that.

Pretty to me is a girl who can hold her own without the slightest bit of makeup and only one girl has met that criterion in my book and that's ennyluv(no i'm not being ridiculous). The rest of you are pretty with make up, what of without? I wanna see girls without Make up dang it! cheesy cheesy

Nah, don't get carried away, you can get to game 7 with the celtics (almost any tom, privates and harry can), but winning the series is not up for grabs.
Boston have home court advantage, and still have 1 or 2 more gears they can step up to. there is no way, Chicago will win this series.
I can see you're very new to the NBA thread. No one takes Bawo and his delusions that seriously but scarily, I agree with him. If Chicago plays like that AGAIN, Celtics will be in serious trouble and I know he won't let us rest.
JeSoul:
I know this series could easily have been 4-0 by now if Pierce makes 1 more freethrow and 1 more shot. No sweating, they'll be aight. Besides I have been happily preoccupied this weekend thoroughly enjoying the RedSox destroy the evil yankees grin 3 game sweep baby! grin it more than makes up the celtics losing.

And from the look of things, A-40's Mavs should win this series. I hate to count out the Spurs but they look so lethargic and old. It's too bad. And Miami is chugging along, I picked them to win and I expect at this rate they will. The Hawks are just too skittish for their own good.

and I am genuinely sad the Blazers are not looking likely to move on sad I like them young fellas.
First, I hope Celts are truly alright. It broke my heart to see the game yesterday. I almost threw my phone at the tv. Ray Allen is very good at the 3-pt line. If they can free him up a lil' more, that will be awesome and yeah, Pierce needs to make up for KG's absence. Sometimes, I feel like he forgets that KG is no longer on the court.
About Redsox, I heard! LOL - congrats on that.
The Mavs are impressing me. I want that Barea boy in my team. He's just so good. I honestly think he makes up for Nowitzki's pitiful playing most times. All the other Mavs especially Howard and Terry are stepping up and Hollins has so much energy that he just defends so well. Even Dampier has put in a couple of stunning dunks.
Miami was not something I predicted. The way the Hawks dealt with everyone in their home court, I was truly sure that they would win the series. Now, they are just throwing their chance away with all sorts of disgraceful plays.
I actually was rooting for Blazers all along. It's very sad that they are playing this way. All of a sudden Roy was not looking so great and Oden just disappeared.

Finally, Game 4 for the Hornets tonight. I'm scared to death. I have made up my mind to go and watch that particular game and if Hornets make me waste my money tonight, they will truly hate me o! angry angry angry tongue tongue tongue tongue
PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria A Failed State? by Moonstone(f): 3:43pm On Apr 27, 2009
blacksta:
i never said Nigeria is a failed state but i said it is showing trends of a failed. The instance you when mentioned about delta state paying fees for its student ( thousand of students out of possible 4 to 5 Million students). Private universities many of them the main indigence cant afford. Violence in election or election malpractices creates an tense atmosphere. Coups or civil disobedience are very likely outcomes

We have to be worried about the ongoing situation

" Nigeria is not failed state yet but if things continue like this then we are going to be failed state"
Now I agree.
We are worried about the present state which is why I said it's a failing state.
The thing I mentioned as in the Delta state is just an example of how the State is trying to redeem their status.
Private universities might not be afforded but at least they are trying to raise the standards of Nigerian universities. Private universities EVERYWHERE are not afforded by everyone. In US, a lot of people take out loans to go to private schools so that is not exactly something that is unexpected.
As for Election malpractices, they happen everywhere. They are more amplified in Nigeria but no one can tell me that any state's election is 100% safe-proof. No matter how small, elections are never that honest.
PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria A Failed State? by Moonstone(f): 2:05pm On Apr 27, 2009
blacksta:
Land of Famine, Gross Human Rights Violations, Stolen Elections and Poverty is re-certified as a “Failed State".
Indices of failed state

1. Failure on Human Rights

2 Failure on Health

3.Failure on Youth: The Greatest Failure of All
I don't think the above indices are an automatic requirement for a failed state. I think that it's a failing state but definitely not a failed state because for the indices you mentioned, they are attempting to do something about it. e.g. - the Youth. It was on this same NL that I read about Delta state government paying Waec fees for students who could not afford it. Our universities (especially the private ones are growing daily). I feel like the failure of the youth occur when they finish with their university education and then have no jobs available to them. Then that's where there is failure. I mean - Zimbabwe is an example of a failed state and we are NOTHING close to that. . . thank God.
As for the famine part, Nigeria's lands are very good for farming but because we are so stuck on monocropping as a means of making money, it's hard to say we have a land of famine. How many people actually farm? All our youths are running to the urban areas looking for jobs.
If Nigeria was a failed state, there would be NO signs of recuperation but with resurging hope, things can get better.
