Baby Jinx: I can't even speak with an American accent if I wanted to, I always sounds like an idiot. So for me, it sticking to my Naija accent was actually the best thing, I found people listened to me more than they did when I spoke mehn, you gots to be kidding me, warreva.
Funnily enough, I think it's the older generation who do the accent fronting. I say if I hear one North Side mother in her Bugle Boy Jeans say "Jinia, gerof that kompura and go get me that borrule, nehun" I will commit. . . Honestly I will. lamo! The worst thing is, even the oyinbos dnt understand them. I hate hate hate the jamaican accent. When my best friend speaks, am like either speak english or dnt talk talk to me. It's so annoying. |

Awww my family. . . but wait. how do you keep your beard hair from tangling with your nipple hair? I swear I've tried everything even rubber band to hold the beard up but nothing, I used suave, nair and whatever still nothing . . it's a pain, I tell ya a real pain!! lolololol!! Lemme let you in on family secret But why use rubber band? I used to use it, that thing hurts. I just use black gel. You can get it at walmart for less. Use the gel to pat the hair down, lol. For my beard, I use vaseline and gel. |

I am not saying my relatives do not know other tribes. I'm saying I don't. Welllllllllll, sometimes it's not by choice, but by circumstances |

plus_Queen: You're not alone. Many Yorubas have actually confessed that the only time they ever left Yorubaland was for NYSC. That is unlike many Igbos. Many of us have relatives all over Nigeria and personally I have "holidayed" everywhere from PH to Kano. I remember all those "ekene" rides for vacations to one auntie or another.
That highlighted part is scary. Well, I was a child. I couldn't have packed and travel out |

plus_Queen: My dear you need to expand your horizon. You are Nigerian and don't know one single Igbo lady well? Not because I do not want to. My mother is well accustomed to many tribes. But I am not. Well, I might have had Igbos in my school wen I was like 6-10 , but I can't rem. and they're not "women", we were still kids then. My gosh, I just realized it. I do not even know any other tribe that well sad eh? |

ifyalways: lol we are not same because we are all unique as different individuals and Not because of of Tribes. you don't know me?have i been too demanding? rotflmao and watching how people lose control over rubbish Aunty, I've met you jare. . . .just not off NL That's what I meant. We are all unique, diff individuals. People just need to accept that fact and understand it. I sweerr if we were all the same, I'd loose my mind. If all men were the same, no self control, foul mouthed, respectable women will continue to remain unmarried. WE ARE NOT THE SAME. and I sweerrr if someone mentions that again, O'd loose my button |
