The Saudi Arabia Government on Tuesday revoked the operating licence of Qatar Airways and ordered the airline’s offices to close within 48 hours, state media reported, as a regional diplomatic crisis escalated. “The General Authority of Civil Aviation has decided to cancel all licences granted to Qatar Airways and to close all of its offices in the kingdom within 48 hours,” a statement carried by the official SPA news agency said. “We urge all passengers who purchased tickets to or from Qatar to check the airline website or contact their travel agent online for a refund,” the statement added. Saudi Arabia has also closed its border with Qatar, effectively blocking food imports and a segment of the country’s exports over what Riyadh says is Doha’s support for extremism. Qatari share prices closed down 7.58 percent on Monday after five Arab countries — Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Bahrain and Yemen — announced they were cutting diplomatic ties with the gas-rich emirate. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt announced the suspension of all flights to and from Qatar as of Tuesday morning. Hours later, Qatar Airways, which flies to nine cities in Saudi Arabia alone, announced it had suspended all flights to Saudi, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt in the wake of the diplomatic boycott. The Gulf states have also ordered Qataris to leave within 14 days and banned their own citizens from travelling to the emirate. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/06/breaking-qatar-airways-operating.html cc mynd44 lalasticlala

The former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has revealed how Nigeria’s economy got into recession. He attributed the economic woes facing Nigeria to the wrong choice of economic policies by former president, Goodluck Jonathan. Soludo disclosed this while speaking at an international conference organised by the Department of Business Administration of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka, Anambra State. According to Soludo, the recession the country was facing was as a result of what he termed “bad habit of borrowing” at a period the country was in boom. He blamed the past administration for plunging the economy into a glitch, saying the government did not act on time to save the situation. Soludo also criticised the Treasury Single Account (TSA) policy, which, he said, stifled the economy further because it channelled public sector funds to the CBN. In his words: “Huge spending by government was one of the ways of solving the economic problem, but two wrong steps by the current government ruined that opportunity. They brought in the TSA and channelled funds into one account that did not allow spending. They also fixed the price of foreign exchange. These are things you do not do when a country is in economic crisis.” He said the recession happened because the Goodluck Jonathan administration failed to save earnings from crude oil sale when there was unprecedented boom in oil prices. “Poor ideas transcended over superior ideas, and we went into recession which was slightly avoidable. That is why academics must be alive to their responsibility of nudging us to reality. If you borrow at a time of boom, what will you do in a time of lack? Even my grandmother in the village knows this. “At the same time, when we had boom, we had unprecedented unemployment. The problem with Nigeria’s policymakers is that once oil goes up, we take it that it will remain so, and we continue to spend. But once there is a shock and oil prices go down, we just think it is temporary and we start borrowing. Nigeria can be fixed, and what it takes to fix Nigeria is not rocket science.” He also called for fiscal federalism to help the states and local governments live beyond “running to the centre for their sustainability”. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/06/how-former-president-goodluck-jonathan.html cc lalasticlala mynd44 missyb3

Doing exportation business in Nigeria can sometimes be a big problem. The National Agency for Food And Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), says European Union (EU) rejected 24 exported food products from Nigeria in 2016 for failing to meet standards. The NAFDAC spokesperson, Abubakar Jimoh, made the disclosure while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja. According to Mr. Jimoh, the five major products are groundnut, palm oil, sesame seed and beans that were illegally exported to the EU. He noted that from the information made available to NAFDAC, groundnut was rejected because it contained aflatoxin, which made the quality substandard. “The exported palm oil did not scale through the EU’s test because it also contained a colouring agent that was carcinogenic. “Beans was banned by EU sometime ago but it was illegally exported to European countries. “Beans was initially banned for one year, when EU was not satisfied with our exported beans in terms of quality assurance, it extended the ban by another two years, which expires next year. “NAFDAC and other regulatory agencies of the government are working round the clock to ensure that when the ban is lifted, we can then begin to export more agricultural products to EU,” Jimoh, who is also the NAFDAC Director Special Duties, said. He said most of the products that were smuggled out were not certified by the agency and the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Services at the ports that is why these products are being rejected. He however urge exporters to go through the right channel so that they can be assured of acceptance in the EU. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/06/eu-rejects-palm-oil-beans-22-other.html

I don't know if her reasons are genuine enough but I will leave you to judge and will also urge you to keep an open mind because sometimes, or even most time, staying out till that time is inevitable and necessary. Anyway the mother-of-two feels it is inappropriate for a married man to be out of the house past 11 p.m. According to her, it is wrong for the wife to be the only one acting responsible like a married person while the husband is out hanging with the boys all in the name of "de-stressing". Who agrees? See her reasons below..... I don't think its proper for a married man to be outside at 11pm in the night with the excuse that he is hanging out with his boys and he needs to de-stress. I don't know how some women tolerate it.....I can't. Women stay at home after work even during weekends whether stressed or not...to be with their family. Since you have decided to be a Married man then you should act like one. Its not only irresponsible but selfish and also very dangerous. I know of men that went to hang out...were attacked when coming back and till today their wives haven't seen them. Some died through accident cause they drank and still drove and drove in the night for that matter. The risk involved with night movement is too much. Once in a blue moon with permission from your wife...Yes but an everyday or occasional occurrence...its not acceptable at all...that is how extra marital affairs begin. I don't know how some women do it o...I can't be in a marriage where its only me that is living like a married person while my partner is still behaving like a bachelor. Marriage comes with sacrifices, especially cutting off some social activities. If you can't do it then you have no business being married. What do you think? - see what people are saying below.. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/06/see-reasons-why-lady-thinks-is.html cc lalastilala mynd44 missyb3 obinoscopy

OAP Toolz Covers Vanguard Allure Magazine, Reveals How She Felt Odd In Entertainment Indutry Radio Presenter/TV Host, Tolu Oniru-Demuren aka Toolz is the cover girl for the latest issue of Vanguard Allure. She spoke about many thing and how was scared at the realization of being a role model and how she felt like the odd one out when she started out in the entertainment industry, due to her curvy body. Excerpts from the interview; As a curvy woman first and also a woman in the entertainment world, are you regularly reminded of your ‘physicality’ especially with regards to television work? Toolz: Absolutely! When I started in this industry, I felt like the odd one out because I looked different. Photo shoots were particularly difficult as I was often told by the stylists that ‘pulling’ clothes for me would be tricky. Many young women look up to you as an icon for your size, your style, career trajectory and, most recently, your new phase as wife and mom-to-be. How does it all make you feel and how do you find yourself responding? Toolz: If I’m going to be completely honest, I get quite scared when I think about being looked up to. I’d always thought that being in that position meant you had to be near perfect and here I am with lots and lots of flaws! When I get positive messages from young women, I get very bashful but it has to be the best part of my job. Asides from being a successful media personality, my main aim was and is to make a difference in society. If me being me has impacted someone positively, I’m truly thankful to God. more pics below more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/06/oap-toolz-covers-vanguard-allure.html cc mynd44 lalasticlala

Until today Abiola's killers has been a myth and something one cannot tell for sure hence rumors flying around. Retired military Major, Hamza Al-Mustapha, has disclosed that his book will expose how Bashorun Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola was killed. The ex-Chief Security Officer to the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, made this known on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Al-Mustapha said his three-volume book, which has just been concluded with details of how the winner of the acclaimed June 12, 1993 Presidential election was killed, will soon be made public. According to Pulse News, he also said he revealed that the book will not only give details of how Abiola was killed but also expose the conspiracy and those who perpetrated the act. Al-Mustapha also disclosed that his 15 years incarceration in Lagos prison was as a result of a videocassette in his possession which captured the conspiracy in Aso Rock, Abuja. He said: “On October 21, 1998, I was arrested because of a video cassette, not because of the late Kudirat Abiola. The family of the late Abiola was, and is a very close family to me. But something happened, which a particular camera in the villa captured. “So, they wanted to take the video tape and burn it so that Nigerians will not know what happened. That was the beginning of my travails,” he said. Al-Mustapha also said it was unfortunate that his “persecutors “ deceived Nigerians that he was being prosecuted for alleged killing of Mrs. Kudirat Abiola, whereas he was detained because of the evidence in his possession. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/06/i-will-expose-abiolas-killers-in-my.html cc lalasticlala mynd44 dominique

Oyo State - Ibadan Customary Court siting in Mapo on Friday dissolved a 20-year-old marriage between a man and a woman who stabbed her husband with broken bottle. The President of the Court, Ademola Odunade, said he dissolved the marriage between Abideen and Kudirat “in the interest of peace and order’’. Odunade said that it was inconceivable that a wife could be so bad to the extent of stabbing her husband with a broken bottle. “The custody of four out of the five children is hereby awarded to Abideen, while Kudirat is allowed to go with the last, who is still a minor. Abideen shall, however, pay a monthly feeding allowance of N5,000 for the upkeep of the last child,” Odunade said. Narrating his ordeal, Abideen, a civil servant, explained that his wife derived pleasure in beating him up. In his words: “I have chosen to part ways with Kudirat because she always threatens my life with dangerous weapons. Whenever there is any dispute between us, Kudirat steps forward with rounds of dirty slaps on my face and if she is not satisfied, she resorts into blows and kicks. A few days ago, Kudirat extended her devilish threat to me when she broke a bottle and tore my flesh to the angry astonishment of everyone. At that stage, I ran to the police for safety and to report her. Kudirat is such a troublesome and inhuman wife who is never satisfied with any situation. She, however, packed out the following day she stabbed me,” Abideen said.. Kudirat responded and did not deny the allegations leveled against her. “It is true that I stabbed Abideen, but it was in retaliation to the earlier mark he gave me. He is such an irresponsible husband and his mother is the major cause of our matrimonial problems. Abideen keeps saying that Ajimobi (Oyo State governor) has not paid him, so he does not provide food or education for the children. Since we got married, we’ve been living in their family house with his parents and other relatives in spite of my complaints. Even the house is now dilapidated,” she said. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/05/my-wife-derives-great-pleasure-in.html cc dominique ishilove mynd44 lalasticlala
