I can't imagine how degrading this 'apology' called ultra-modern floating toilet built by Bayelsa State House Of Assembly member, Kate Owoko will ever be. What is this?

Sometimes I wonder what a hell is wrong with Nigerian politicians. Do they really think that every citizen of this great country is gullible? She even invited press while commissioning the so called 'Ultra-Modern' floating toilet.

God help us in this country.

If you know how to do exhaustive research, you would know that I am also right to say Fabregas is a product of Arsenal Academy because he was brought into their academy from Barcelona and was later promoted to first team.

Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, has revealed that he harboured an intense hatred for former Blues captain, John Terry when he was an Arsenal player.
Fabregas is a product of Arsenal academy and made his debut as a 16-year-old in 2003.

The Spain international engaged in several intense battles with Terry’s Chelsea after establishing himself at Arsenal.

Fabregas signed for Chelsea in 2014 from Barcelona and play alongside Terry, and it was only then that his opinion on the centre-back changed.

Fabregas told Sky Sports,

“He is the type of player that I had many battles with. “I disliked him very much at some point playing for Arsenal, we had a lot of confrontations, but one thing I always had for him was respect.”

After 19 seasons, Terry left Chelsea this summer for Aston Villa having made a total of 717 appearances in all competitions.

Fabregas added, “I think it was maybe the most difficult season for him [last season], for a lot of reasons.

“He showed to be before a great man and then a great player. He showed he will always be a great captain for this team and I have to tell him a big, big, big thanks.”

Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar who is currently undergoing medical treatment over fibroid complications has begged fans not to raise money for her.

The movie star in a post shared via Instagram today, July 19, 2017, is pleading with fans and followers not to donate money on her behalf to anyone.

The Psquare brothers and even their senior brother has left no doubt in expressing their disappointment in the move by Nigerian government to stop the production of local movies and music abroad.

Earlier today, APC called for the arrest of one of the PSquare brothers (Paul Okoye) because of what he tweeted in relation to the FG proposed ban of music production abroad. On that note, Peter Okoye has now come out to express his greater frustration about Nigeria.

He announced that he is set to dump Nigeria and become a citizen of another country, adding that he is sometimes ashamed to be called a Nigerian over government’s failure “since 1960.” The RnB singer took to his Twitter page on Sunday to voice his anger.

“Sometimes am ashamed to be called a Nigerian because this people, Tufia kwa, Another Nationality Loading.”

Lai Mohammed Reacts To Criticism - This Is The Reason Why FG Is Stopping Production Of Local Movies & Music Abroad

The Minister of Information and Culture of Nigeria, Lai Mohammed, has reacted to criticisms trailing his recent pronouncement on steps being taken by the government to discourage the production of Nigerian movies and music outside the country.

In a chat with PT on Sunday, he said it was to tackle the exploitation of perceived loopholes in the Nigerian Broadcasting Code, NBC.

“The NBC code today as it stands has been exploited and not defined and that’s why movies being directed by Nigerians with Nigerian actors, actresses can be shot in South Africa and then brought back to be consumed in Nigeria.

All we are saying is that we are going to amend the code in a manner that it will not be possible for you to exploit any loophole there to go and shoot outside Nigeria film, music or programs that are meant to be consumed in Nigeria,” Mr. Mohammed said.

The Minister on Saturday said the government had taken steps to get the Nigeria Broadcasting Code, NBC to put an end to the trend of producing Nigerian music, movie and programs abroad. This however drew criticism from Nigerians who asked the minister to address the issue of government officials going for medical treatment abroad first before sanitising the movie industry.

However, the minister said the government had no ill-feeling in its move to dissuade Nigerian films from being produced abroad.

“It is not directed at any particular incident, every country should respect the local industry of other countries.

For example, in Ghana they introduced a law today that demands visiting actors to pay a thousand dollars to the government coffers while visiting directors and producers pay 5,000 dollars.

We must create an enabling environment and also generate revenue from our creative industry. The argument is simple, when you go to shoot a film offshore, you use the work force of that country to develop the capacity of that country and you improve the economy of that country and that is what we are trying to do here.”
