Former Goodluck Jonathan's Presidential Aide, Reno Omokri has been know for his cynical atitutde towards the government of the day in Nigeria as well as his criticism on the APC led administration. But this time, the comments he made on his social account has prompted the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC to issue a statement, calling him to order.

The former presidential aide this morning took to his Twitter page to say that:

"President Buhari is a 'Ghost President fighting ghost workers with an EFCC that goes after his Ghost monies in apartments owned by ghosts.'

Former Vice President and chieftain of All Progressives Congress, Atiku Abubakar expresses shock and sadness at the death of former Aviation Minister, Professor Babalola Borishade. Atiku, in a condolence message personally signed by him says the late Borishade was a man of simple and steady character, who easily created friendships with people around him.

“I have lost a dear friend. I have known Boris (as I fondly called him) for more than three decades as a friend, a political tactician, strategist, organizer and philosopher.” “We worked collectively and prayed together that he would come out of the illness but God knows best.”

Professor Abraham Babalola Borishade was born in Usi- Ekiti on 7th day of March, 1946 into the Ebi Ilotin Family. He has been a Federal Minister in Nigeria four times, between 1999-2011. He was one of the strategists that made the Yar’Adua group one of the formidable groups ever in Nigeria.

Atiku recalls the quality leadership that Borishade provided during his bid for the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress in 2015, when he (Borishade) was the Director General of his campaign.

“I recall with fond memories the wonderful working relationships with Boris (as I fondly called him) during the Federal Executive Council days when we were in government and most recently as the indefatigable Director General of my presidential campaign. “Boris would respond to every challenge with elan and worked as a fantastic team player, such that he would pass as one of the finest administrators I have worked with.”

The Turakin Adamawa condoles with the government and people of Ekiti State for the loss of an illustrious elder statesman. He also prays for the bereaved family, friends and political associates of the deceased to have the fortitude to bear the loss and for God to grant Borishade’s soul a peaceful repose.

The opposition party in Edo State, People’s Democratic Party and its candidate at the September 28, 2016 Edo gubernatorial election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu have lost their bid at the Court of Appeal for a continuation of the halted ballot recount. The Court, sitting in Benin City, threw out the appeal, which included a request by the petitioners that the time spent recounting the ballots should be restored so that they could call more witnesses.

According to Daily Post, the petitioners’ counsel, Mallam Yusuf Alli (SAN) had filed for a ballot recount in four Local Government Areas, namely Egor, Akoko-Edo, Estako West and Estako East to prove their case of electoral irregularity. They contended that the tribunal erred when it stopped the recounting of the ballot papers once the 14 days given to the petitioners to present their case have elapsed.

Delivering unanimous judgment on the appeal, Justice Mudasiru Nasiru, who read the lead judgment, said he decided to take great caution not to go out of bounds since the tribunal was yet to deliver judgment on the main petition. Justice Nasiru held that paragraph 41 of First Schedule of the Electoral Act prescribed the time upon which petitioners and respondents were to prove and defend their case.

He ruled that any action done outside the prescribed time would be a nullity and that the tribunal was right to stop the counting of ballot papers after the 14 days had elapsed. In his words:

“Whatever any party should do to prove its case must be done within the time produced by the Schedule. Once a party commences, the time prescribed to it will start to run”. “The two issues for determination are resolved against the appellants. The appeal is unmeritorious and lacked merit. It is hereby dismissed.

She always has controversy written all over her. Lopex Morrissa Escandell is a self acclaimed 'most beautiful queen' on Instagram and she is really getting on her followers nerves.

Recall she was the lady who said and I quote: "If my lover does not beat me up in a day, I wont be alright". Does this girl or lady have a death wish or something?

She took to her IG page to inform followers that she hates doing basically all house chores. She hates washing plates, mopping floors and more. According to her, she is too beautiful to do any house chores.

I am going to say this for the benefit of those that are still single that will not understand the implication of this kind of separation. Yes, a couple going to different churches is total separation.

Look at it this way, the man has not only lost the control of his wife, he has also lost control of his children. And that relationship is heading and will only end up one way - results in separation.

Churches has different pastors that has different perspective and ideology of a particular thing or a particular problem. The last thing that will happen to a Christian couple is to have two different pastors advising them on something. Wife pastor is advising her differently and husband pastor is advising against that. It will bring the relationship to his knees undoubtedly.

Is a bad thing for a couple to go to different churches no matter how you spice it with understanding and just for a rule of thumb, is not also advisable for one couple to be Christian and another Muslim.

Could it be assumed that with this development, Zambia is now the most moral if not most religious country in Africa? The police declares illegal: wearing of mini-skirts, skinny jeans, among other attires they deem unfit for 'public eyes'

Anyone found flaunting the new rule will be arrested without hesitation and fined or jailed for six months, or both

- The authorities insist that from 1st April, every citizen in this country must get conversant with the dress code they need to wear to avoid being arrested

If mini-skirts and skinny jeans are your favourite outfits, then you may need to overhaul your wardrobe, as these kind of attires are no-longer allowed in Zambia and can easily get you jailed, fined or both.

The Government of Zambia has also reportedly directed its officers to start, with immediate effect, arresting people who dress indecently in public.

“Zambia police is concerned with the dress code of some of our women and men in public. It is now a serious offence to dress indecently in public," a statement from the police command said.

Wearing of mini-skirts, sagging trousers , skinny jeans, leggings, ripped jeans, and lace attire are all considered indecent dressing under the new Act.

Failure to follow the prescribed dress code will now attract jail term of six months or a hefty fine.

"Zambians must get conversant with the attire they need to wear to avoid being arrested," says Esther Katongo, the country's police spokesperson, in a statementffect on 1st April 2017. Persons seen in dresses that expose their bodies to the public will be arrested without prejudice
