You don't need to bend down to greet them since they are igbo. A nice hand shake will suffice. Try practicing using two hands to greet and elder. Place one had on your arm and use the other to shaek. Shows a sign of respect. Also you can hug the ladies and gents but use whats called a side hug not a frontal hug. More appropriate.
