@ poster There's a very simple answer to your questions "Why are muslims suffering' Cause they have lost the power and influence they yielded in the past and are simply trying to regain that stance once again through lunacy. Its only a matter of time when one of these schizo's will be in possession of a nuclear weapon and blow us all up fantasising about himself in the hereafter with white robes and drinking from lakes filled with honey. God help us all if that happens! |
eddy1977:In regards to HIV and sexual activity, when I was there I didn't really mingle to much with the ladies however you do notice there is a more liberal mindset as far as sex is concerned in southern African as compared to Naija where is not openly flaunted. |
jassie:Go and ask yardua and the thief they call Babangida that question? |
RSA:I agree with the above statement as far as economics is concerned, others just believe a majority black government will not look out for their interests and have lost faith or even "fear" certain situations that may befall them. Its human nature. They feel the ability to escape by carrying "dual citizenship" is a safety net for them should SA fall under bad times. Afterall a majority of industrialized countries are white so they can easily transition. RSA:RSA, All SA's need to hold the presidents office to the highest standards possible and demand overwhelming results at all times. There are creeping signs of corruption within the party and business is beginning to intertwine with politics which is a bad combination in any democratic society. How is this being curbed. I am fully aware of the strides the party has made in regards what you have mentioned but there is a struggle for the party as far as transitioning from freedom party to a government oriented party movement. Talk by Zuma is one thing, what really happens is another? How does the government plan on funding and expanding these social agendas it has fully promised the struggling class without upsetting the business community. Is the country socialist or capitalist based? Overwhelming socialist agendas have led many a country into bankruptcy if not coordinated properly. The only possible alternatives governments have to finance these projects would be higher taxes on businessess, investments and eventually individuals. A middle class is emerging in SA and they will begin to feel the pinch of government social programs as they are the ones who will carry the most burden when businesses trickle down these taxes. Will you see a shift of the number of people aligned to the ANC as the years go by because of this if another party offers better alternatives. The naustalgia of the freedom party will begin to fade as the countries demographics changes and it begins to faces new challenges which is predictable due its complex make up. The businesses bring in the jobs which alternatively create productivity, employ more workers and thereby create more revenue to finance social projects. The government should not be in the business of creating jobs if SA is a capitalist based society. The dilemma he faces is coordinating a balance between creating a condusive incentive enviroment for businesses to thrive in and at the same time protecting labor laws and maintaing standards of living to curb exploitation. With the ongoing global crisis. This is most definitely a more difficult challenge than his predecessors faced. Is the govenrment aggressively tackling social issues such as HIV, single parenting, excessive unhealthy pratices such as alcholism, housing, land distribution reforms, crime. You say they are?Who are the pressure groups that are making sure these are enforced? Where is the evidence? What about the issue of 3 million refugees in the country? What is being done about that, Are they to be assimulated or deported back home? I heared a comment made once by one of your country men that they should just 'shoot" the whole lot of them. Coming from a country that has struggled for so long. This was very disappointing though I understand the frustration. Has Zuma any credibility when it comes to government affairs, to me he has not proven or exihibted any actions to lead me to believe so, though he did his part during the struggle, this does not qualify him as one who is fit to stair SA in the right direction. Is he merly a figure head then? In my opinion, does the SA government have a lot on their table to fix. Hell yeah! RSA:Who is teaching you this? |
After some of you go dey shout FOUL PLAY when them deport you from other country. I am sory to say Nigerians are Actually Racist! SO SAD! |
SeanT21:SeanT21 I wan marry liberian girl oh! |
Nigerians are the most hospitibel people in Africa. They do not discriminate other Africans as far as communion is concerned. Can't say much for other African's though |
scorpa:Just be yourself. People hate and fear what they cannot comprehend. Thats their problem and you shouldn't make it yours. If you are a good person people will be drawn to you regardless of where you are from. Most Botswana's are very educated and civil. There are however floating stereotypes about Nigerians which is something you will experience almost anywhere we are known. You will make a lot of friends guaranteed. Just watch yourself. |
i have no problem with his dancing. na him culture. period. my problem is with his mentality and record. did he rape someone? is he guilty of all the charges levelled against him?those are the real issues, not how he danced. bush dances too, obama dances too, and king david danced in the bible too, all three have danced in a way that is a bit ''unexpected'' in people of such ''esteem''
His concubinism nd dance is to appeal to the "locals" so they can believe he is still one of them and has not sold out to the capitalist right/Western influenced agendas. |
@ poster Botswana is a fairly decent country to relocate to. They boast one of th highest GDP per capitas in Africa and their society is structured quite well. the living standards are quite reasonable from what I observed there on my trip seeing that a lot of people "mostly whites from other parts of Africa" do move there to escape a lot situations going on around their neighbours i.e Zim and South Africa. It would do you good to learn the local tshwana language and try to avoid explicitly mentioning your origins until people get to know you well enought as that part of the world has a high disregard for Nigerians and are stuck on stereotypes as well. HIV is an issue as it is in any other country so be exteremly careful as Southern Africa bears the brunt of the highest infection rates.9 not trying to e negative just fact) The people are quite civil and welcoming as well just be cordial to people, no Naija gra gra style hear. The countries population is quite small so less stress and hustle and bustle life style. All in all enjoy yourself. you picked a good country. |
@ poster Because we too many and if we no develope aggressive life skills including "Insult", people go chance you. |
RSA:The above is true to the extent that though SA is not a homogenous society much like its neigbours Botswana and Zimbabwe, The past Apatheid struggles and shared experiencies have undoubtedly bonded the indigenous ethnic groups in terms of shared languages and cultures. A phenomenon very similar to the African American experience in the America's who identify strongly with each other irregardless of location or culture. However this fact should not be taken as an absolute resolution to ethnic issues in SA as historically there have been rifts amongst groups who attribute certain traits to certain groups that do cause friction among the populous. These include groups who culturally and historically have exhbited domineering tendencies (don't want to mention any particular group. They know themselves), groups who have historically been percieved as elite and well educated. If not checked in the post Apatheid era may pose an escalating effect and tribalisms will rear its ugly head. In the case of Nigeria, it is unfortunate that ethnic problems still persist and will unlikely remain for several generations to come as the people concentrate on cultural and trivial matters that have no real bearing on the progress of the country as a whole. Though there are glimmers of hope for this generation and the next who have managed to set aside ethnic diversity in terms of increased instances of inter ethnic marriages and a blending of cultures and languages through music and the arts. Though one most note these blendings have been restricted to North vs South. |
iboboyz:Voted best answer in regards the subject. Pidgin did not originate in Nigeria as stated above. There are variations spoken in most Anglophone countries including "english speaking" cameroon that are comprehendable by most parties. Its origins are Krio which is why till date there are similarities with West indies pidgin and West African pidgin e.g "Unu" vs "Una". |
Oh Boy there goes the property value in Lekki. I guess I wil not be able to afford anything there now! |
@ RSA the great Proudly South African RSA. Still defending his country relentlessly. I guess I'll give you an "A" for your resilience As far as hadexman is concerned you don't know that ethnic bigot is a hopeless "ijebu"man who just entered plane for the first time in his life and now thinks he has mouth to be talking jargons. |

@ poster. Unfortunately you met a girl who was already brding from a past relationship. just let her down softly. Don't anger the babe oh, or she will cause you more wahala. Women are more emotional than men. Make her realize you are not going to leave your wife no mater what and stop sending mixed signals to the babe if you are still doing so. Just let her down softly, over time you go disconnect from you . Nah just woman wey catch feelings. If its not nutured the feeling will eventually go away. |

RSA:You can't take life too seriously bro. You'll explode. I have told you before I do not "live" in SA. You don't have to be surprised at my knowledge of your country. In my spare time I work with NGO's round Africa and research ongoing issues on the continent. I have many accointancies who are from SA. Not everyone is interested in living in your country. You can stop speculating now! |
RSA:@RSA I am surprised at you. I am simply helping my brothers stay out of your beloved since you have grown tired of " black foreigners" and can now have the whole country to yourselfs and you are harrassing me. I thought you would support me in discouraging these desperate souls who are doomed to replace the violent criminal element that already exists in SA. @hadexman Have you warned the poster how long the lines are at the home affairs office. You know his degrees are useless in SA. Have you asked him how he plans on getting a job on arrival or if he can even get an identity card, open a bank account, move around freely without interrogation. Why don't you tell this guy the truth on what to expect instead of attempting to paint rosy pictures he will not see if he gets there. Anyways, knowing naijapeople them go chook head regardless lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSJtSxAjrR8 |
