The papau new guineans depend on the "Pig" as a signifcant source of their protein diet. Without it I don't think their kind would have survived to date.

It is evident that the lack of these essential proteins and even other nutrients which they find hard to come by have contributed to their morphology i.e stunted growth, skinny pyshic, women have small dried up breasts.

Though many cultures have detested this beast as an unnatural source of food, others without choice have depended on it for their SURVIVAL.

In other words if I have to eat it I would, otherwise it is not the best tasting of all meats.
