IfnobeGod20:
Did you read the news or you just woke up from the bad side of your bed and formed this jargon of yours.
The last time I checked, Obi left government in 2014 March and the news says 7 years ago, the increase in debt of states. Please read and stop constituting nuisance on net.
Obiano himself said the money Obi left formed part of what the state used to do Anambra airport.
Omo werey, if Obi had put some brilliant revenue-generating mechanisms in place or if he had built a whole lot of infrastructural projects while in office, would his successors have had much reasons to borrow so much funds to develop the state?
What exactly can we point at as the exact thing they’ve been funding with so much debt? (Kudos to Obiano tho for the Airport)
Can you now see you’re just exactly like your father? grin

I know someone of little thinking must try to drag Obi into something another should be blamed. You humans are reasonably terrible as far as hatred is concerned.
I mean, the news said from 2015 till date. When did Obi Left office? I leave you to your conscience.

Meanwhile, Okowa deserves an resounding apologies from propaganda peddlers
If not that you’re irredeemably mad, you wouldn’t have thought you had a point trying to exonerate Obi. Obi claimed to have left a fortune in Anambra State’s coffers while leaving office (later debunked by his successors tho) why then did the state he governed not have enough money to funds projects but had to resort to taking loans?
If Obi had put some economic and revenue-generating policies in place (like Tinubu did) while in office, the internally generated funds would have been enough to at least reduce the indebtedness figure you’re seeing up there.
It’s true that most advanced human societies are usually the most indebted and a very good example is the USA which has the highest domestic debt profile in the world but while this is understandable, it’s highly nauseating for a state to borrow huge money and be heavily indebted as a result yet unable to point out life-changing projects such monies were expended on. At least, Lagos for instance, can say they spent their own borrowed money on Projects like BRT and railways etc, what have Anambra and Yobe been doing with what they have been borrowing?

Please stop lying.

He clearly said Yorubas are just politicial rascals and we will handle them.

Those were his exact words.
Lol, he didn’t say that actually but the statement don too go viral grin. The video you saw was the doctored one. I’ve seen the original one. The man’s use of punctuations and pauses was very poor, that’s why it sounded like he said Yorubas are rascals. I was mad at first but after watching the original video, I knew they some persons distorted his video to cause mischief. He said there is rift btw the Yorubas and igbos but that some political RASCALS are the ones causing issues among us
PoliticsRe: I Didn’t Say Yoruba Are Political Rascals – Iwuanyanwu by Morphinne: 10:26am On Mar 28, 2023
Omor, this thing don go viral o. This is a very bad misunderstanding tho. I watched the videos (both the distorted and the original one) and I realized that some mischievous folks cut and joined it to make it look like he said the Yorubas are political rascals. The man actually said there’s no tension between the Yorubas and igbos_that some politicians (paused a little then said) some political rascals are the ones trying to create a rift. He didn’t say the Yorubas are political rascals, pls let’s disregard this distorted narrative.

Creeper:
You don’t need one source - you can harness from different sources.

All advanced countries have at least 3-4 sources of energy which they harnessed to generate energy.

The US has at least 8. UK uses 7. Russia uses 5. China uses 6. Etc.
Agreed, you’re right but saying wind energy isn’t controllable and unreliable is false and misleading. Saying it’s not better than solar is also wrong because in reality, the contrary is true, wind is more efficient ( there are a lot of scientific proofs and practical applications supporting this and they can be easily found on the internet too)
I said what I said to make him understand that the person he was seemingly mocking actually had a valid argument, wind is more efficient but also more expensive and noisy.

Well there is nothing in principle in this plan foreclosing Wind power so saying BETTER is not right ,It would be additional ,not instead of and not the main component grin. It is not predictable or controllable
in theory,Wind power at its best would not ,alone be sufficient. It has capacity limitz
However ,in practice, the Bights of Benin and Biafra are not in the path of major winds. Being coastal does not automatically translate into significant since
Ever head of any hurricanes in our coasts?
Mister efiko, you’re obviously the one seeking attention and talking for talking sake here and not the person you were accusing of doing so.
Firstly, who told you wind energy is not controllable and unpredictable? grin I actually stopped taking you seriously when I got to that part. Now sir, let me school you a little, wind energy is and will always be ahead of solar as the later remains the most efficient and sustainable option albeit far more noisy but they are both green/clean energy sources. Solar energy sources produce lesser energy than wind turbines (you can google this to get yourself more educated)
Wind farm are well suited in places like coastal areas with high wind speeds, on hilltops and mountains or plain landscapes with less wind obstruction.
The only disadvantages of using the wind turbines option is that they are relatively more expensive and are way more noisy, making them unsuitable for use in urban settings.
So you’re wrong to say it isn’t better than solar my friend. Read more about green energy sources and the most efficient one among them. So again, the poster you were tackling was actually making a really insightful point (though I wouldn’t say wind energy is more cost effective because it’s relatively not) and don’t interpret that to mean rubbishing this Lagos government’s plans.
Away from that, kudos to Buhari, Jagaban of Africa and of course, the forward-thinking Governments of Lagos state and APC for this insightful work, we will surely get there someday.

Better than what exactly?
It’s actually a very brilliant idea. A coastal city like Lagos harnessing wind or water for energy generation should be much more sustainable than relying on Solar but all in all, let’s give kudos to both Mr President, Mohammadu Buhari and of course, the progressive, right-thinking visionary Leaders that God has been blessing Lagos and the entire south western States with, this is a really commendable thing and I’m glad Lagos and Nigeria indeed dodged a bullet by not believing that Anambra’s ogogoro man grin

I disagree. At most, the church will encourage members to seek God’s will regarding the election and participate, not blindly endorse Osibanjo based on sentiments.

If the church would be partisan because of VP, why wasn’t it partisan since one of its Pastors would be First Lady? They still didn’t endorse Tinubu did they?

Any church rooted in the scriptures knows God’s ways and thoughts are different from man’s.
In fact, @bolded has made me respect the RCCG more and more. They refused to be openly partisan despite the First Lady being not just an ordinary member but an ordained minister of the Church. That’s pure class. They remained this way despite other churches business centers blindly endorsing one lying machine from the south east; They started lying with God’s name all because of a thieving politician o grin

Mumudeen, Ilorin is now a Fulani emirate by right of conquest and under international laws, it would remain their territory forever and the Yorubas are not complaining, in fact, we love them and we’ve inter-married one another already.
They speak Yoruba and don’t go about insulting the Yorubas and the Yorubas also don’t call the land a no man’s land like you and your retárded brothers are doing with Lagos.
Besides, ilorin is the real definition of “a no man’s land” because the founder, Afonja was an outcast and a traitor who betrayed his tribe and decided to form an alliance with outsiders against his tribe and got a poetic Justice for his action. Also contrary to your foolish, erroneous belief, Ilorin is not a Yoruba land and chief Igboho never made any attempt to claim it (I don’t know where you sourced that your fallacious claim from)
