So that peeps like u can go on believing the loads of visitors-dragging stories which Linda posts on her blog? Now that you read it from the horse's mouth, I'm sure your initial beef for RMD will reduce by half.

Stop being unnecessarily emotional like a sex starved effeminate. In civilized societies, all unusual deaths are investigated and in cases such as this one, family members are automatic suspects, or shall we say, persons of interest. If you were to die mysteriously, lets hope your cause of death is revealed and if foul play was involved, lets hope the culprits would pay for the crime. mumu

Sure you meant where would the human intellect be without God?
And incase you think you were created by woods, water, fire, stone, air, or that you practically fell off the sky, then your question still shoould have been "Where would the human intellect be without (fill in the gap)?"
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Skye Bank's Managing Director's Wife Picking Her Nose by mortee: 7:35am On May 22, 2012
We should strive to get to the point of not being sentimental about most issues. Picking of the nose in public is bad, either done by a white man or a black woman. It's just as simple as that - a bad habit that needs to be carefully checked! It's the same with belching loudly in public or even passing gas in the midst of people. Let's even agree you may sometimes not be able to control the belch or gas, but nose-picking? It's a habit freely done in private which unfortunately got out. It's a lesson to learn - do not, and stop your kids when they do it even in the restroom.

Health / Re: No Blood Flow After Childbirth! by mortee: 10:56pm On May 18, 2012
tpia, u for relax nah! Shuo! E neva reach dat one, abegi! I am only retelling a story a friend told me. The issue has gone beyond what anybody will ask the girl to go do some tests to confirm if she was really pregnant. All I want is a confirmation or denial of all the things she said happened to her, so you really don't have to suspend your common sense for it. Besides, you could have just "waka-passed" when you saw the topic, or even right after you read it. Must you comment on it?
Health / Re: No Blood Flow After Childbirth! by mortee: 9:51pm On May 18, 2012
Some friends confirmed they saw her undressed during d pregnancy, and with a protruded tummy. I wasn't told whether the husband confirmed that he actually was bathing with her during the pregnancy. The story still baffles me anytime I remember. I really want to know how true this is.
Health / Re: No Blood Flow After Childbirth! by mortee: 1:33pm On May 18, 2012
What if the doctor knows all about the plans? All I want to know is if it's possible to drink blood to stop its flow after childbirth.
Health / Re: No Blood Flow After Childbirth! by mortee: 10:48am On May 18, 2012
Very real! I am dumdfounded about the whole story too, and that's why I posted it here to know if anyone has ever heard of such.
Health / No Blood Flow After Childbirth! by mortee: 7:38am On May 18, 2012
I heard this story two days ago about a young girl who was pregnant for 11 months and eventually had the baby. Unfortunately, it was a still-birth. She was discharged from the hospital the following day and was taken to her mother-in-law's house. It was there that it was discovered that her breast was very dry, just like she never was pregnant; then the biggest of all, she had no blood flowing from her, not even a blood stain.
She was confronted with these observations and she said the doctor who delivered her gave her an injection to stop the breast milk from flowing, then made her drink the blood she passed during delivery. All these she claimed made her body return to normal like she never was pregnant.
Just so you know, her tummy was protruded during the pregnancy, and she said she was sleeping and bathing with her husband through it all. This kind of lessens the thought that she may have been showing off a fake pregnancy.
Now I want to know - is it possible to use drugs/injections/drink blood to stop all the visible signs of one who just delivered a baby?

You guys don't have to be this harsh and sentimental. Orikinla is very right; except you find it hard to understand what he said. I'll suggest you take your time to read his comment again, and if after that you still don't get it, then politely ask that someone explains to you instead of insulting a sensible poster here.
Family / Re: Please Help Ayomide - An Abandoned Child by mortee: 12:15am On May 01, 2012
moremi2008: I think you should mind your business. This child may by malnourished and unkempt, but she is NOT an abandoned child. The child is obviously trying to go after her mother but she'll soon get over it and return back to the old lady. Why do people like to create trouble and drama when there is none? Why don't you focus your energies on the hundreds of babies that are truly abandoned around Lagos every year? When last did you visit an orphanage? Please mind your business and leave the child alone; I hope the end result of this is not trouble for you and your family because I have seen situations where the child's family turns around and accuses the good samaritan of trying to steal the child.

Yes, you are a natural pessimist, but then, sis, you could have at least spared a good word for the one who has the heart to care about an innocent little girl. Why on earth would you even think it's just a status booster for the poster? I don't like your line of thought, I must tell you, and you really need to work on it. You are one of those who could run their cars over the girl because you don't see her as good enough to have a life.
And if you keep waiting for the government to take care of situations like this, then the Naija of our dreams won't come soon.
Poster, God bless u jare. Even if you eventually could not locate the girl again, heaven rejoices over you for the care and concern you expressed over the girl. Heaven will take care of you and yours too.

Politics / Re: CBN Response To Sanusi Plagiarism Allegation by mortee: 8:36am On Apr 28, 2012
Yinkay: Hungary president recently resigned on related allegation of plagiarism but trust Naija bigmen, he will rather shift the blame.Who recieved the ovation when the paper was delivered?

We should stop calling a dog a bad name just because we want to hang it. It's not about who received the ovation; it's about who wrote the speech. If the person had cited his sources and the governor didn't acknowledge it, then SLS will be totally wrong.
If you got an "A" in your exams because you quoted extensively from a textbook you bought from a lecturer, then another lecturer stumbles on your script, saw his work wrongly cited, who gets the blame? You who got the A or your lecturer who sold plagiarised book to you?
Politics / Re: CBN Response To Sanusi Plagiarism Allegation by mortee: 8:30am On Apr 28, 2012
naijaking1: Oh no, what a baseless defence? He was almost better of keep ing his silly mouth shot. Oh, yes the devil me do it? From Obama to Joe Biden, to corporate and professional CEOs, who would think our own CBN governor would shift blame for plagiarism on some faceless junior staff? Where is your accountability Mr. Sanusi? When you were at that ceremony delivaring a message you did not author and which you now claim not to know who authored, you surely enjoyed the big accolade, and complishments you'd recieved from delivaring a stolen academic work? How sick?

Mr. Oga, some people were employed and paid fat salaries to develop contents for any material, oral or written, that is going to be used in any way by the CBN governor, and even other staff.
SLS has more on his plate than to spend time checking the originality of a speech he may be reading for the first time at that podium.
It's the responsibility of the person paid to do the job. So when the professor drags SLS, SLS must automatically question the person who developed the content. This is not laying the blame on a junior staff (and I am sure the Corporate Communications person is not on the list of junior staff); it is accountability.

The problem is not just with the girl. The guy sounds obsessed and possessive too. I think he needs the break truly...perhaps he'll bounce back better and with the realisation that sometimes you just can't force your way with women.

Celebrities / Re: Picture Of Anita Hogan With Her White Family by mortee: 10:51pm On Apr 26, 2012
It just doesn't sit well with me when I read posts from people whom you know are deliberately or ignorantly being biased and negative. I am sure most of the girls here would give an arm to be in Anita's shoes. When did age or the colour of the skin began to determine whom one chooses to love?
For me, Anita has really tried in keeping her home and having two kids with the man. Are we going to say they have not been having any kind of misunderstanding? And despite the nude pictures issue then, they are still together and looking very contented in what they have found in each other.
Why don't we spend our times looking for what will fulfil us too instead of bad-mouthing and "bad-belleing" here?

Phones / Nokia E72 Start-up Problem by mortee: 9:46am On Apr 19, 2012
I bought a Nokia E72 from Affordables, Ikeja, about 3weeks ago. My battery got drained yesterday and when I plugged it to charge, it showed no sign at all. I removed the battery, reinserted it, and switched it on. What I got was "Phone startup failed. Contact Retailer." Please, what could be wrong?

Politics / Re: Babangida’s Letter To Bola TINUBU, Does The Letter Expose The Pride Of IBB? by mortee: 10:43pm On Mar 31, 2012
The only thing I saw in the letter is the repetition of the word "not" at the beginning of the last paragraph. It made me think: "who knows how much the person who wrote or edited this short letter is being paid now? How I wish my company could get such contracts to write or edit writings for people like IBB!"
In case you are beginning to wonder what company, I am proud to tell you that I am "krosdot"; ensuring you "write right" is what I do passionately.

Food / Re: Killer Fried Rice At Tantalizer Ogba. by mortee: 7:08am On Mar 30, 2012
I think some people are just here to "pour sand-sand" into sensible posts on this forum. A post that was meant to sensitise people, some just turned it into kids' play.
If the poster saw it as a big deal, he could have taken it up with the eatery, and maybe what you would have heard is the story of the eatery compensating him with some millions of naira. I am so sure that then, majority will tell real and imagined stories about such an experience and how it would have fetched them some money.
What's the big deal in buying a bad food from an eatery, and in the eatery changing it for a better one? I have bought a bad meat-pie from a Biggs' outlet but didn't bother to return it. I have bought an ants-filled bread from Big Treat, returned it and got another one.
People should stop brazenly expressing their ignorance and pessimism in the public, jo!
