Keepuplive: I think the saying “it depends on the city your school is” might actually be true and probably what’s causing the delay due to the number of applicants that are traveling to that particular city, because, a friend of mine who did her own interview on the 4th of August 2023 got her Approval Mail on the 4th of October and her DHL delivery on the 13th of October with her visa stamped. Just be patient for a while and hopefully you’ll be contacted when they’ve finally processed your application. |

HighPriest0: No it’s not. You might have mistaken Deutschland Stipendium for DAAD!!! First of all, the Deutschland Stipendium scholarship is just a premium qualification you can get by chance to book for an appointment under Category A and it costs just €300 per month and lasts for 2 semesters (12 months) which is equivalent to €3.600 a year and it’s not even up to the €11.280 needed for a blocked account. So how would €300 sustain you for a month, and €3.600 for a whole year? It’s either you block the remaining amount, or rather get a fully blocked account to avoid any negative chances at the embassy or get a Sponsorship Letter to support your scholarship. |

Alowonle27: Yes you do. That, or a Letter of Sponsorship. Having the Deutschland Stipendium is just a means for you to be qualified to apply for Category A and also to fund your studies when you arrive but you’ll also need to show them a proof of your fully funded Blocked Account or your Letter of Sponsorship, so they’ll know you can sustain yourself during your stay in Germany. 1 Like |

stripes16: In addition to this, first of all check if your school is participating in the Deutschland Stipendium Scholarship and check the deadline and requirements as well to see if you’re eligible to apply. But you’ll have to enroll first, and hopefully if you’re given the scholarship, you can book your appointment under Category A. 1 Like |

seniordev: That’s a lot of heading but if it contains the two pages then there’s no problem. I hope you added your CONTACT as well? But if you can combine two headings, such as SKILLS & QUALITIES, EDUCATION & CERTIFICATES, it might also save you some space. |

Jolands: Depends on who’s interviewing you and the course you’re studying. Sometimes most people going for Bsc or Msc are usually the ones given questions to solve. But not all. |

Kennie28: I really don’t know much but I think it depends on the scholarship you’re applying for. Few accepts such. Although just check their requirements and the CGPA they require to be qualified for the scholarship. |

Gopro: Well if the scholarship approval documents were sent by post, then you’ll have to photocopy it and take both the original and the photocopied one for your interview. But if they were sent by email, I’d suggest you just print it in colored copy and photocopy it. Either one will do. |
Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by mosesronnal(m): 12:29pm On Jul 19, 2023 |
Gopro: Any amount of scholarship is enough to qualify you for Category A (100€ and above). But it has to be a public scholarship from the government. Although you can use a private scholarship and try your luck. I know a few who used a private scholarship and are in Germany today. Sometimes I feel like it doesn’t really matter if it’s public or private. They might just say PUBLIC because it’s hard to get one especially for bachelors students. Well sha, just get the scholarship. |

Tsesi: Yes you can. But you must have already been admitted to a private or public university and have a first class degree if going for a Master’s degree course or holding a scholarship from a German public fund to pursue a Bachelors or Masters degree before applying for Category A. But if you don’t have a Scholarship nor a First class degree then you’re to apply for Category B. |

Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by mosesronnal(m): 6:04pm On Jun 01, 2023 |
Joeman1: Well if you came out with a first class degree or you got a scholarship from a German public fund, you should book for an appointment under category A after funding your blocked account, because your date can come within 2 or 3 days. But if you don’t have a scholarship nor did you come out with a first class degree, then book for an appointment immediately even if you haven’t funded your account yet, because you’ll be called after a year for your interview. But that can be changed if you can apply for any available scholarship. |

Bobby5524: Please in the letter, also tell them your plans of coming back to your country after graduating, so they won’t think you intentions is other than studying cos these people are smart. Something like “ After the knowledge gained after my studies at (name of your university), I plan to travel back to my home country, where I intend to work in (any organization or companies related to the course you’re studying) For example if you’re studying Aviation Management “After the knowledge gained after my studies at Hochschule Worms, I plan to travel back to my home country, where I intend to work in the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria - NANTA, and contribute to the aviation international system in my country. This appeal, I perceive as an extraordinary opportunity to be given a chance to further my studies in Germany and gladly interact with students and scholars from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds coming from all over the world.” 2 Likes 3 Shares |

Bobby5524: This is scary! But how? Didn’t your interview go well? Or you didn’t write a good motivational letter!! So sorry about this. I think you should check the embassy’s website to see if there’s an appeal to be made when one’s visa is rejected. |

DrinkWater10: Yes. You'll need to get an admission to a private or public school in Germany before you apply or before any foundation consider you for a scholarship. Because in your application, you'll be asked to either submit your admission letter or your certificate of enrollment for that current semester. Among other documents to submit is your CV, Letter of Motivation and recommendations and others. But some of these documents are not mandatory |
