I am sorry for bothering you with the story of my carelessness and indiscipline.
Firstly I am a Christian and an introvert
But ever since second semester 100 level I think I have sold out my spirit soul and body to porn addiction.
I am this kind of person that doesn't handle failure rightly. There was this course then a chemistry course it's one of the toughest courses in my university then. I didn't prepare for it well I got 40 over 100 in it. The course result came out first before 5 other courses I did.
I saw the bad results first I reacted to it negatively as I will explain below. The other 5 results came out a year after because of ASUU strike. I got nothing less than 70 in them but it was already too late then because I have already fallen into the trap of porn addiction!

I was really mad at myself(when I saw that I scored 40/100. I was depressed. Then I got tied up into porn. I could download 100s of porn videos at a seat with our university free WiFi. The downloads in short were unlimited. Everyday I go to visit the WiFi stand. Wasting nothing less than 12 hours on it. I am not exagerating here. I knew the name of almost all these indecent actresses by heart.Most especially the black ones.
This addiction went on and on everyday and then I got to 400 level I was still doing the same thing over and over. I then graduated to masturbating and watching porn. Let me say something it's by God's I finished from the university as at due time with a 2.2 degree. It could have been better/worse!
I finished my NYSC I was still doing both consistently.
Two years after NYSC. Lost my job. The reason is because of bad performance that's as a result of my lack of concentration on the job.

There are sometimes I get blank on the job. I misplaced things etc. My colleagues were tired of me and my sight I was given countless numbers of queries for misplacing thing or not knowing where somethings are kept by me.


It's obvious that my addiction to porn and masturbation resorted to my bad performance.


I have been powerless to stop it!.
I have tried different ways. I have prayed fasted( I will end up breaking my fast with a porn series.


Like I said I am an introvert. This addiction has made it worse. I do not have friends I don't enjoy been in a public gathering etc. I just like been on my own. If you see me physically I don't dress well Behind if you may. I have lost relationships because of this.

I am 26 now and sometimes I feel I have already wasted my productive years. I feel like I am hopeless for the future I feel I am powerless to make my future bright.
The addiction seem to be renewed in my heart every time!. No matter how hard I try to stop I still engage in it.
Please how can I genuinely stop this addiction and live a good life.
