My cousin who is resident in the UK on a student visa wants to travel to france on vacation so all the family from Nigeria can meet during Easter.

i want to ask if she can apply from the uk for france tourist visa or she needs to apply from Nigeria.

Your last mail was 18th march .why not do another mail to them. Am sure by now decision should have been made. But passport collection is another issue with Tls

My sister inlaw contacted ukvi again for a biometric done on the 3rd March below is their response

About 6/7 pages down this thread the same thing that happened to your application happened to someone else. They refused then based on the checks which classified it as “Inactive and not trading” so if they find that about the company then they would NOT believe whatever funds you presented as having in a bank account.

Hopefully if that is rectified moving forward then you guys would be successful.

My question is always/still why is the company showing up as inactive? Is that because of the “Non-filling?”

Well my husband’s company shows inactive and he files his annual returns at his business year end.

What he did during his visa application was that he attached the acknowledgement slip given to him for filing his annual return at CAC stating that he has filed for the period of 2020/2021 and he should endeavour to file the following year after his year end.
His visa was issued without any complain

So sorry about your refusal.I think once it’s filed and and /acknowledgment recieved from Cac .and all other parameters with your application still remains intact you are good to go.

The 15days timeline elapse last Friday.

No mail nothing.

Can I go to TLS for enquires and what's the procedure.

Average waiting time is now 6weeks.
Means that some people might get decision before 6weeks and others after . In all the average is now 6weeks.

And from your date of biometric and now is 5weeks.

This response is if you paid for a standard service.

But for priority you can call their number or send an email to know the status of your application.

I just got a refusal letter from UKVI today. I filled the visa application to the best of my ability and didn't lie, but I was still bounced.

I wanted to go on a business visit as a top management staff of my organisation for an industry event. I submitted my salary account and my other savings account where I have little about 2million naira. My monthly pay is 450k total gross (250k salary and 200k allowance paid separately). With the tax deduction on salary, my net is 405k which was what I declared. My savings account is where I collect money from other investments like rents on property and proceeds from side businesses. The visa office said they couldn't ascertain the income and doubted the sources of funds in my savings account and so denied even without a right to appeal. All the funds are mine and my letter of employment stating salary income was submitted. The refusal letter is here attached.

I am considering applying for a UK student visa for September 2022. Will this current refusal affect my student visa application later in the year? Kindly advise before I burn another money. I will gladly look in another direction for my masters if UK will not allow it.

So sorry about the refusal.If the company you applied with is yours . Attached the company statement of account showing the source of your income.

my wife and 3 kids was denied tourist visa 2 weeks ago.

Eco denied them because of unknown transfers made onto their mom account and from the info provided they can't unable to establish the source of these funds and if the money is available for their own personal use.

There's no unknown fund in her account only her monthly salary and the 1.5m sponsorship fund i transferred to her acct.


However, I transferred 1.5m into their Mom account before the application and wrote the sponsorship letter to back it, although the 1.5m transferred is from my saving account

which I will like to re-apply for them by submiting saving account indicates the 1.5 ,my salary acct ,payslip, employment letter,ID card

My questions now is that if I wanted to prove the source of the 1.5m I transferred from my saving acct how can I prove it?

The saving account I used to transferred 1.5m, I dedicated it to receive non salary payment for example when I sold my 2 previous car, using it to pay utilities bills, used it to send money to family, children upkeep, etc

This morning when I saw family of 3 refusal letter I was shocked and trying to ask for Moore insight on how to go about my family too.

I hope ECo won't ask for the source of the money in my saving account that I used to transferred the 1.5m to my wife acct.

I earn 1.2m monthly and spends 200k monthly hence the 1.2m is like one and a quarter of my disposable income

She earns about 400k monthly and husband earns over a million monthly . The husband is self employed though and pays himself salary and has a valid UK visa

They applied for uK visa
The wife created a budget sheet allocating budget of
925,000 to herself
800,000 to first child
And 775,000 to the last child
And this is exactly what she filled on her VAF their visa was denied.

My question is
How much in total is she supposed to fill on her form being the adult on the family trip since the Person that reviewed their file claims she said she will be using 925,000 for trip with her kids and was too low for a family trip whereas she has enmarked /splitter funds for her kids in their own application and has her own separately

2.is she also supposed to include her husband business account where his salary is paid from since the eco said the income of the husband is not from a credible source

4.she has about 4m in her own account aside the fund for support from her husband. Is she supposed to support the trip also from her income?

She is also a director in her husbands company and the Cac documents attached


6-Guru help review the refusal attached as she wants to apply immediately

Also recently she lost her dad and spent so much money from her account can she add her fathers death certificate and explain the unusually high expense on her account to the burial of her dad or she should wait till the part of her statement goes off

Despite the mistake of wrong date on previous travel
Visa was issued with 6months validity

Did you submit the passport you used to travel in 2012? If the passport and stamp isn't there, then it's a problem. Your application is vetted based on the information you provide. These people are looking for every little reason to deny someone. You can take the risk and hope but it's a gamble.

YES i attached the passport with the stamp including the flight booking for that travel history..

or do you feel i need to write a letter to the ember with the GFW ref number.Is there any need.

i picked 2nd march 2012 to 7th march 2018=============6years

although my passport and ticket shows 5days but i hope they have a recourse to my travel document to see i didnt spend that much in dubai

the mistake is i went to dubai in 2012 spent 5days

on my application i made a mistake and wrote that i exited in 7th march 2018 instead of 2012 Thats 6years i dont even know how my mouse made the mistake .the worst is i did my biometric yesterday.
