Sorry bro, as long as there is a denial stamp on your passport, it will be wise to explain it, there's no running from it, assuming you got denied without any stamp, would have been a different case entirely.

Application fee gets the ball rolling, if you don't have that yet, just get other docs. But you MUST sha pay.

ticklin: Hi guys, I finally got my trv. Two weeks after I had submitted my tuition fees receipt, and about a month after my medicals, I decided to go to the embassy and inquire about my application hoping it would remind them of my file. I filled the form at the entrance and submitted it with a letter of tuition payment from my university. In about 30mins, my phone rang and a lady asked if I was at the gate. I was then called in and given my documents with the visa. It was just done. na God do am! my start date was may 1st and that was on the 6th so I dash go airport, collect ticket waka that day. I didn't submit any extra extra document except an evaluation of two properties my dad owns. All the rest was what they asked for. I prepared my docs using info from this from and I'm very grateful for all your all, Oga Siga and others too numerous to mention. Any of you guys coming to Montreal, hala at your boy! meanwhile, make I continue to search for apartment to stay Good luck to all applicants! God dey!

VCTROKOYE: Pls is it true that after 1 year program in Canada, 1 year with work permit will be given to the candidate to work and have experience.

From my little research, i heard the work permit cant exceed the total duration of your program

newacca: Birth certificate of (family member) in this case,I think it is referring to your immediately family(Your Spouse&Children) for those that are applying as married,whether the family member is travelling with you or not. I think it is out of range to req.siblings and Parents' birth cert when such dox may be in use by the owner itself,not readily available or even when any of them is not available or nearer to you. Ok what if we ain't in good term with such brova n sis?
I applied as single with my birth cert. only. On the family composition form,I included Dad,Mum n my brova's name(without birth certs) so,no biggie.
I stand to be corrected about by point though.

i Said it before, so did Siga, just submit your birth certificate and the person sponsoring you. If you submit his passport data page, fine. but those that want to satisfy their conscience, pls do whatever will set you mind at ease. That is for those that are single o! i dont know about married peeps

I am just about to pay for my application fee on www.ontariocolleges.ca with my GTB Mastercard .. Pls after i have paid for the application fee with my GTB Mastercard.. What is the next thing? Will the sch of my choice contact me to send my doc to them? Please i need help!

Before you make your payment, ensure you meet the requirements for the program as most application fees are not refundable. When you make the payment, you've got the schools attention. They should get in touch with you. Or if you running out of time, get in touch with your prospective department asap.

You can use the scanned copy, same info.

Just walk in to any of d banks below with your int'l passport or any other means of identification,
UBA
GTB
First Bank
Access Bank .etc

Tell them you want to buy a bank draft or manager's cheque of #19500..
(The draft or manager's check serve the same purpose)
Beneficiary : Canadian Deputy High Commission.
Tell d bank officer that, the draft must be made payable in Lagos. And must b duly signed.
Remember to Write you name and passport number @ d back of the draft.

Or Diamond bank

Sorry i forgot to mention that, i included my transcript..before they started all this protocol of telling your uni to send your transcript, i don already arrange my personal copy lol.. so i was lucky it came in handy

Documents i submitted were all the forms from the CDHC website, my employment letter, letter of introduction, payslip, bank account, NYSC discharge, SSCE result, University statement of result, a copy of my Id card and my pension statement, affidavit.

Then my bros account statement, Id card (photocopy)data page of his passport (please note say i no submit any pissure of my family members). Letter from his office, letter of promotion, fixed account.

Thats all i can remember for now as my docs still dey with them.

ticklin: sorry guys, since i did the medicals I've been trying to pay my one year tuition fees. I think that's the norm now. The bank has just been frustrating me for a week now, they asked for all manner of documents which I provided. Now they're asking for a separate document detailing my tuition fees (this has been done already in the admission letter) and the school said there's no such other separate document so now I'll just use a dom account instead of this form A thing.

This really does my head in... its a good thing there are still a few schools that still accept credit card payments even for school fees. Going through all this stress to give someone all that money.

Siga: ..Just checked the Visa Processing Time for Study Permit in Nigeria and realised it is shorter now...from 19 weeks to 18 weeks ....at least is faster....lol

lol.. we are getting somewhere, hopefully by 2030 it will be just 15 weeks for that generation..
