What is your course duration? U said ur sponsor works in a bank, what is his status (contract or main staff ( I know UBA makes some contract staff product manager.) Do you know his payment per annum? Is he married? How many dependants does he have?
Just answer d ones you know their answer so dt we can proceed.

Well, he is a main staff, been there over 7years, yeah he is married with a son, payment per annum is a little above 6m. Dependants just two, my tuition is 28080, living expense for a year for accommodation alone is 5000 for a year.. That's all the answer I can confirm at the moment

Sir P and Siga, thanks for the feedback, what if I were to say am sponsoring myself and my brother is a co-sponsor? Based on the fact that he has a steady income as a banker (product manager)

@Siga, mercy and all, need your opinion. If had like 3.5 in my own current account and my sponsor has like 1m in fixed deposit, and 900 in his salary account, will that fly? Or does he need to add more money to that?

1. Sponsor birth certificate to prove same surname as brother or affidavit of age declaration not done recently or his marriage certificate which will have ur parents name.
2. Pictures
3.letter of intent.

With regards to num 1, i think the data page of sponsors passport will suffice. that and the affidavit of support. Just a thought..

Note: My whole letter was painting the picture of my dreams of taking higher roles within my current organization after school so that sentence wasn't looking so isolated.
My uncle (sponsor) is an Executive officer in a Financial Regulatory institution in nigeria and in my letter, I referred to him as my career mentor as well and in his own letter he stated he would get me a job that requires the skills and knowledge I will get from canada. Statement of purpose is the best effort you can put into your application (after prayers ooo) I didn't even know of this wonderful thread before I submitted my application. Don't blab a lot in your SOP, first know what your plans are and then present it in a good way. I am open to assisting with statement of purpose for anyone but I will only help you edit whatever you write initially.

Had a friend with a similar issue, he had an interview at the US consulate but his application was at CDHC, he had to use 'gra gra' to withdraw his application.. So they stamped on his passport he was denied before releasing it.. But lucky he got his US visa

If you get an interview using the Emergency date, and you are denied, i dont think you'll be eligible for another emergency appointment until after 6 months, check the site to confirm

i dont have a letter of exemption for not writing any standadised test. even tho i took an online test from the school, can i present my letter of acceptance instead which says i took an online test from the school?

if your details havent changed from your previous application on your ds160, i dont think theres any need filling another form. Just a thought

trust me its not by day of the week. it will always depend on your presentation and packagin, last time i went a reasonable num had good outcomes. a friend was denied because
he was a rookie, the vo didnt ask who was sponsoring him. Just asked for his monthly income(which was not so gud) and he expected that as a question but it never came up.

Out of curiosity, Does anyone know the out come of bank phb test of july19? Can we assume those that did the test at julius berger hall shud 4get about it even though those who did d same bank test but at different venues have and i repeat are still being notified as at last week, Some who even wrote d test d same month but different dates are also included, Then at d Oando test, Am sure i heard them say people will be contacted two days later, Its been two weeks already, Thanks
