. Mine was the hard copy, its recommended, I defered my admission earlier on so I had enough time to receive the hard copy.. if you have the hard copy go ahead, if not, the soft copy should suffice, afterall its the same info.. Just my opinion.. God help us all.

Going by their website (4 to 6 months) that means you can submit either in March or April.. Most importantly, when you know you are really ready, am for Sept, I've submitted

kenniy: considering how uneventful the thread has been..plus how frustrated i currently am, please i need the opinion of everyone.

precursor: i submitted my application at vfs on sept 24, got medical instructions by mail on jan 4th. did medical jan 8. submitted other conditions feb 4. i originally applied to resume in jan 2013, but thanks to cdhc, had to shift my resumption to sept 2013. also, i am on nitda scholarship, 2012 session, and i fear that might expire this may if i dont redeem.

considering this is gonna be the 10th week after i did medical,and they aint replying to mails asking how far, kayce rightfully advised to go to the embassy that they would attend to me. which i did this morning. shortly after filling in the form with my stuff, i got a call from a lady (nigerian) workin there, saying they have received my medical report and all of my other documents, but since i am resuming in sept, i should wait some more till its close by, that they cant issue visa more than 6 months before i am travelling.
this really doesnt make sense to me, why cant they issue a dated visa if that is their argument? i tried to argue some more, saying i need to do other stuff, and i need to travel, but her response was, i can collect my passport and/or documents if i need it before the visa is issued. frankly, i dont wanna go that route, cos i dont knw if that would mean i would reapply or any sort of further time wasting.
i intend to go again next week, and on and on..till they give me something valid, cos even though i have no immediate plans to go to canada before august, i really wanna lock down the scholarship thing.. also, i intend to go to india for some other stuff before resumption..

my question is, please people, how do i approach this people so they attend to me give me my visa!..cos really, most of what the lady told me on the phone didnt make much sense to me..

I think they've said it all, give them till first week of April, wouldn't be a good idea to push your luck by visiting them every week. Just a matter of time this waiting period shall be history.. All the best

If not, you should go to our website at http://www.mun.ca/science/graduate/interdisciplinary/envs/faculty.php and use the information there to get in touch with faculty members whose research is similar to your own interests. I will also notify all our potential supervisors that you have been found academically acceptable and give them some information on your academic background. Only if we are successful in identifying a supervisor can we proceed with the paperwork to get you formally accepted.

ezme: Due to the FSB BEA scholarship, every police station now has the authority to issue police clearance. I believe it is same document, prints of all five fingers of your right hand are taken and a passport photo is affixed and stamped. I believe that is same with what you get at Alagbon.

There's something about being a self sponsor that is just a 50/50 chance. I don't know just my personal opinion, makes you wonder if one probably had like a co-sponsor if the outcome would have been different?, so they know someone will be sending you money.. Na only God know sha. @mercy I don't know sha but you could try it with a co sponsor, but its all good if you are still deferring the canada runs till further notice. All the best

Sure, they cud send your doc through your preferred courier, but you will be requested to pay for the service upon delivery

Ok. Because there was a time I tried this say last year, created an account online and all that, before dem come talk say na to renew and I should visit my visa office in my region. if true, then the Canadian embassy will be the first to start this initiative, when the likes of US ,UK and Italy all request physical documentation first before details are uploaded on their data base. I hope to be proved wrong, but I still feel its for people who want to renew while in canada. But make person complete am online first.

I submitted to VAC on 14th May.
It got to CDHC on 15th May.
I tracked it online 12th June around 8:45am, no change, then around 9:30am, I tried again, andd my changed to-Please contact the Visa Application Centre for further instructions , your attention is required at the earliest.

I'm on my way to Lagos now, I'll keeep u guys posted. Thanks y'all.

I'm finding it difficult to understand why CDHC state ''travel history'' as part of reasons for denial....

Does it mean those that have travel history cannot break the law or what...

Similar to the US embassy,what I feel is that its just an excuse to reduce the num of applicants, no tangible reason.

mercylicious: @ the house, I thank God the house is moving well. I may be re-applying to Canada in 2years time. For now, am concentrating on my certificatns. Am yet to get my package frm VAC but ill be going for one month training in Lag next month, I hope to collect it by dt time.
My feelings tell me their reason will be insufficient funds. The cast flow 2 weeks to my submisn was unusual. I wasn't expecting a denial d 1st one so, I wasn't planning on cash flow for d acnt statement.

Siga: Hi family....thanks alot for ur prayers and mails....we finally got home today....to tell u guys abit....my wife was pregnant with our 3rd child but unfortunately, it was an ectopic pregnancy and it ruptured while she was at work....thank God for 911....she was admitted and operated on....she is back on her feet and recovering after a 2hrs 30mins operation.....

I feel the need to update u guys as I got numerous mails, phone calls and prayers....thanks alot guys....I promise to be back fully once she feels better and can get things done herself....

Meanwhile, I will respond to all emails I got before the incident within the next 24hrs....
