PoliticsRe: Seun Kuti Suffers PTSD From Family's Experience With Police - Reno (Throwback) by MrAAA2: 11:35am On May 19, 2023
People pleading mercy for Seun are just practicing double standards. If it was not Seun, say it was one Ahmed Nwosu, who did this, the narrations from all corners may be different.
Nearly all Nigerians suffer PTSD from police, military, bandits, BH, Nigeria govt and General public even. If we are to begin to use that to attack these people, it will be everyday clashes.
Every time, we complain about judiciary and justice, now justice is to be met out on someone, irrespective, sentiments are been employed. Similarly, the govt is using the same double standard to plead leniency for a former Senator guilty of organ trafficking yet whose seat remained vacant for months during trial in UK.
We are not ready for the justice we crave for even though this is looped, it's still justice.

I want to really first admire and hail all Nigerian students working hard to beat all odds just to study in Germany. You guys deserve the success.

I tried to apply to a German schl (LMU)., It was the course that attracted me....I dint even know the school has mad competition, I've been invited for an entrance exam, of which if a student scales through, he will be invited to an oral interview again.

I'm like which kine wahala bè this.
I checked through the reading list and topics for the entrance exam...I just weak...right now I'm doubting my ability...cos it seems like an herculean task.....the course is Epidemiology( with statistics, probability, calculus, epidemiology, algebra, Matrix etc to feature in the entrance exam) ..and I couldn't even get any past paper...

My question is can't I get an easier way if I want to study in low to zero tuition schl in Germany? ...
And another thing that freaked me out is that on getting here I got to know for the first time that people have to wait for one year before Visa interview....Haaa. Which kine country we dey so....it's really annoying o..is that how u all here wait?
Imagine scaling through the exams and interview and still have to waste another year just for interview...e mad o.
.
I'm scared of the entrance exam
Still scared of waiting one year.....is there alternative?...I'm just kind of discouraged by the one year wait especially
All I read is scared scared scared!

Epidemiology is like medical statistics and geography. Do you still think you should compete with your peers?

Good day...pls what language is the motivation letter supposed to be written in?
German or English?
The language you are proficient in (either English or German), the language you will prefer to be interviewed with. Similarly, your CV should be in the same language, either German or English.

But do not use a language translator

Kindly elaborate bro
1. After conversion of your Nigerian CGPA to the German GPA and the programme states you don't qualify, there are less chances you will be considered BUT with a strong CV (course-related experience) and motivation letter, there could be a waiver.
2. NC-Frei courses are courses that are unrestricted, most times, the department can accommodate most applicants. And in such courses, they might be more considerate in waivers.

Good morning guys.

Please, I just want to know how flexible German schools are with the Msc admission

Almost all the schools have seen set minimum requirement to 3.0

Can I still go ahead to apply despite not meeting their requirement?
Usually, there's no compromise. Maybe you try NC Frei courses.

Hello everyone, does anyone know the minimum income you need to be able to issue sponsorship letter. Checked but couldn’t find anything that says the amount for single or married people
Income or business/property that can enable the sponsor give out over 900 Eur after paying tax, rent and other bills (the family size is also factored in).

Hello everyone do we need to take our bachelors degree certificate for the interview?, didn’t see it being clearly stated, is that what they are saying here?
ALWAYS go with everything necessary. Is your certificate too heavy to carry?

There is a checklist of what you should bring. Better to have everything from
SSCE to the highest degree/certification RELEVANT.
CV
Motivation letter
Passport photo (2 at least)
Of course your intl passport
Admission/enrolment letter
Proof of fund
Health insurance (not compulsory)
Exact amount of visa fee

Etc
All in at least 2 copies and attached with clips 🖇 not stapler.

Find the student checklist doc if not in Nigeria embassy, find it in UAE Germany embassy.

Christianity EtcRe: How Christians Can Make Their Tithes And Offerings Bring The Desired Results by MrAAA2: 10:31am On Apr 30, 2023
Today's tithes are unnecessary in Christianity and not applicable to modern Christians.
The purpose of tithing was clearly explained in Numbers 18:20-29 and a requirement for the Levites because the tribe was appointed.

These rules no longer applies as clearly explained in Colossians 2:13, 14 and 2 Corinthians 9:7.

But because we don't study the Bible and question it like how the apostles advised us to, we end up under the undue complex explanations by these pastors who live on it and live extravagant lifestyles with people's money under compulsion.

Meaning I can actually calculate the CGPA myself and convert it to that of the German grading scale even though the CGPA wasn’t added to the transcript right?
It has to be added. Every semester records has a CGPA and that should be added.

Hello guys,
Please is it mandatory that one’s CGPA must be included to their first year university transcript, even though the transcript is just for 100 level?
It already has the grades and credit units.
Because the way we calculate our GPA and CGPA is different from the German grading system.
Please I’d appreciate a response to this.
The essence of a transcript is to see the record of courses taken and your performance in them.
When you have your CGPA, then you convert to a German scale. Google that.

Hello everyone, please I got admission in this three cities which one is the best in terms of cost of living, opportunities for student jobs and Jobs when you graduate and general comfort?

1) Hamburg - Msc Mechatronics
2) Siegen - Msc Mechatronics
3) Freiberg - Msc Mechanical and Production Engineering

Thanks for your anticipated response.
1.Hamburg-great and expensive city. Housing can be a problem and job should be available
2. Siegen
3. Freiberg

In my opinion.

Your desire for your study should supercede other factors.

Hello everyone, Please I need help!!!

I booked for work visa early last year and my appointment is next month. I need a job contract to present to the embassy. I am open to any kind of job that does not require German. It can be cleaning, restaurant, factory, anything. Please anyone who can be of help? I'll greatly appreciate it.
I don't want to miss this opportunity. I have been trying Germany through studies since 2019 but I could not afford the Blocked account and the Sponsorship letter.
I understand the circumstances and sometimes the desperation that kicks in. Did you apply for any job before even applying? And were you really able to actively search for jobs even through Aupaire?

I am trying not to sound pessimistic, but the odds are very very low that anyone can help you here. There are these kinds of jobs you mentioned, unfortunately, only available for people in the country, language is still a factor BTW.

I will encourage you to brace for whatever outcome this may become, and admonish you to learn relevant skills (everybody is doing it, depending on your interest, look out for certifications and trainings, there are some free ones though), register with Adecco, Stepstone, Randstad, Office People, UCM and all the job agencies in Germany you can find online.
The Turkey and Ukrainian situation isn't helping matters too. Europe is generally under distress and the job market is focused on them first before us from third world.

Hi,

Can you pls give me information on University of Paderborn and the city. Based on living expense and in terms of jobs.

Thanks

Give it a shot.

Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University, Landau (formerly University of Koblenz-Landau) is quite a serious despite being the poorest in the State of Palatinate. Uni in a small town, nice Nigerian community and international community.

Also look closer at Th Köln and Uni Köln, Bochum, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Essen-Duisburg.

These are better cities in terms of jobs.

I will personally recommend the expensive city of Hamburg. There's a Uni there for IT related course.
The information you need about the Uni is on their website, every other information are subjective and varies from people and cases.

As for living expenses, it's generally the same and will that change your mind if I tell you there's a significant inflation now?

I admonish you to focus... Put necessary documents together, apply, begin sourcing for funding, plan towards interview (depends on your category), finally, be patient.
